- Near the Texas and Arkansas border is a town named Rogers, Arkansas. Hatsan, Umarex, Barra and Daisy all have facilities in that area and so Dr. Paula and I decided to visit Rogers, Arkansas during our last trip to see just what those firms added to the passion found among air gunners. The highlight of this trip was not an air gun manufacturer, but rather an air gun museum. Regardless of the brand you own, you owe it to yourself to see this video and part II that follows it, to really know the roots of air gunning in general. This is the second video on the Daisy Airgun Museum.

Hats off to you, Dr. Russ.. This is Kleber (Brazilian Navy Officer - Naval Aviation).. I joined the air gun world about 10 years ago.. And I'm totally in love with it.. Touring around the Daisy Museum through your video is simply amazing!! Daisy was one of the pioneers of the modern airguns!! Much respect for that!!

I’m so very grateful to you for taking us on this awesome tour of the Daisy museum. I really have to get down there and see it for myself, perhaps at the same time they have the Daisy competition. I just recently picked up the Red Ryder adult version. Well, why not. After all I’m in my second childhood. Again, thank you so much for this tour. Oh, by the way, I saw a picture on the wall of the model I had as a kid. It had the leather piece on the end of the stock. I would sure like to get my hands on one of those again. Cheers. 👍
Kelalamusic .... glad to hear that you are reliving your childhood passion with air guns. If you visit the Daisy Museum... dont hesitate to purchase one or more of their refurbished air guns...they work great for me... and remember that Daisy air guns shoot around 350 to 450 fps ... while Powerline and Winchester shoot around 850 fps.... Dr. Russ

Shooterx ... it is good to hear from you.... and especially about your planned trip to Rogers, Arkansas. We enjoyed our visit there and I wanted to share with you that when you get to the back of the museum, you will have an opportunity to purchase new and refurbished air guns. I bought several ... should have bought more ... and they function just fine. Keep us in your loop and share your visit with them... Dr. Russ

I figured it out Russ. I bought a 177 kit and everything went just fine.
Good to hear from you Scott ... and especially that you have it all figured out... Dr. Russ
Can you show how to clean the inside of barrel on gen 2 game swarms please. I'm confused on watching different people. But you take your time and I think I could learn from you. Its something about getting hung in the end and I'm afraid to try.
Scott.... dry patch ... no wire bristles... store with barrel down... Dr. Russ
