You forgot an important tip my friend. Lube your CO2 tip. It will prolong the life of the o-rings significantly . . . I have an old Baikal (10+ years old) just for fun plinking and I never had to change an o-ring. So they can last a long time, but you have to lube them. It lube them with every new cartridge. All the best from the Netherlands.
You are absolutely right jbhk .... thanks for bringing to my attention ... We are about 3 videos ahead of the ones you are watching ... but I will make sure we bring it up in our future CO2 videos... Dr Russ

Dr. Russ I'm very impressed with all the cool stuff you have that has to do with airguns. Why do you have 2 of them semi auto airguns on your wall. I forget there name Greg Kemenski always talks about them.
Hopefully you got my earlier answer ... Google shows that I never responded to you but I am sure that I have. I have several duplicates, and everyone of these is where Dr. Paula has a similar air gun and hunts or shoots with me.... Dr. Russ
Good stuff! Very interesting discussion

New Sub here, I am looking to buy my first pcp I am wanting one so that I can use it here on the farm from rats - coyotes I have been looking very hard at the Benjamin Armada .25 and or the Umarex Gaunlet .30... But I have heard some bad things on the Gaunlet 2 though so most likely the Benjamin is what I am leaning on getting if I can get some honest info about it, and I do not think that you would lie about any of them, if its worth getting or buy something else instead. I am wanting something that I can rely on for a year or two, I do not want to out grow it any time soon.
Traillestaken .... I like your email name.... Fortunately, I have both air guns that you are considering ... and they both are favorites of mine. Crosman probably makes one of the most accurate air guns without it being regulated. My Armada is very accurate. At the same time, if I were to choose one, it would probably be the Umarex Gauntlet in 30 caliber.... because it is regulated. The barrel is a longer... and it is in 30 caliber ... which is needed when shooting around a farm with medium size destructive critters like Coyotes and Fox and Raccoons, and Large Woodchucks. I am not aware of any real problem with the Gauntlet. It is German made and the barrel is excellent. Please stay in touch and let us know which way you go and how it worked out for you ... Dr. Russ
