That's not a truck, it's a work of art. So impressive. I love the color. In the 70's i painted one of my vw sandrails that color. My vote is for a tan top and seats. It wont show the dust as much and itd go great with the color.
I like the color too. I’ve got a 1966 VW Short Sand Rail. I’ve restored the whole thing to look like it was done in the mid 70s. Only modern thing is the light bar.
I like the tan is interior seats and door cards. You'll be unhappy with white. It won't stay clean.
I threw a sanding party one time nobody showed up
Should've told them it was a circle jerk
😁
Because you didn't tap a keg and order pizza...
You have to call it a block party
😂
One thing for sure!!!
You're never going to lose it in a car park!!!
🤣🤣🤣
I love it!!! ❤❤❤
So far so good my friend ,from the video the bodywork looks great .it’s going to look nice when you finish painting the vehicle ,. i’m excited to see it all completely finish the whole vehicle 🛻
I know some won't like the color, but i love its mint👍👍👍👍need your little helper
I haven't tuned in a few years; health's been sketchy, but I never unsubscribed, and I'm glad I tuned in today. Too show you how long it's been, the last time I was here, you introduced your wife as "Mrs Half-Ass", hadn't laughed that hard in 30,40 years, hilarious!
The color really sets the truck off.😊
This was my everyday for most of my life. I grew up in a paint and body shop, I would rather hear the compressor, grinder, welder, and all the normal shop sounds. Sounds like home. I just wish I could smell it again. My instructor at Lanier Tech had a saying " The best primer is paint". Looking good, Brent!!!😊

Now that looks awesome I would be very proud if that was mine well done
What a nice shop! Remember when the old shop burned down. You persevered through the hard times… now look.
The roadster is looking great , love that color on it too. i wanted to do my 56 belair that color and black.
Love your laugh when things don't go as planned...your laugh is an inspiration for us when we start to beat ourselves up. very talented...I follow your progress. thank you.
That paint really works. Interesting colour. Great choice.
Brent, I love the show. It's very. Relaxing for me, especially the music. That color tho! Holy Hanna! I hate it ! 😂😂😂 Looks like something left over from a Gratefully Dead concert. Uh dee!!!!
Really looking good Brent, or as you would say "Mint" . Always enjoy watching your builds.✌️
I like the color great job. Can't wait to see it all painted Brent!
Sometimes a project can get to be daunting... oh I got to run the electric, or I need to bleed the brakes.... and things get tedious..... take a break from it and come back. I've been a long time viewer and anything you do is interesting to me. Learned alot on this channel. If anything it's inspiring.
Dude you don’t need a fancy paint job you excel at building hot rods they look so good the don’t need all that bodywork. I was a body man for many years. I was really impressed with the piecing that roof together it look great
As you already know when the vehicle becomes one color (primer or...) the view is so much more satisfying. I can now see your vision. Have fun and keep on sanding... Ha Ha.
Oh man ...the ol' halfass custom green....NICE
Great progress! I used to work in a flour mill, blowing down is a daunting process but worth it!
Keep on keepin' on man!!!
Thanks for sharing as always, maybe you can can look into a couple of over head air king filter systems to help keep the dust and over spray down to a minimum. Last job I had as industrial maintenance tech we had several of those units in the plant and they really helped with smoke, (made rice cakes there) and the grain dust as well. Just thought I would share that experience along with ya. Keep on keepin on!
Doing great Brent, yup body work can be frustrating at times with pin holes and waves, but the rewards when done are awesome. 😊 keep on trucking!!!
Brent, l really like the color you picked. I like the glossy finish, interested too see the outside done in color! Looks great, till next time,God bless, jim
Mr. Brent, if you end the paint at this stage, it looks really awesome. Nice paint, and nice color choice. The process of searching the filters was a funny part 😁 😂 😀, looking one place again and again..., I do the same looking lost item, and the hair joke also😂😂😂
WOW ,Fantastic.....love'n the colour...Bless your heart , it's coming along....👍 yeah take a break...howz that mezzanine??....that was a treat from whomever sent all those gloves etc....hey Esther , TX for shop'n by...keep well all ♥️🤠
What a cool color. The truck is coming along nicely 👍👍
I love the colour! I was really hoping you were doing my roof and interior in white lol. I actually really enjoy doing body work. Great job as always Brent! Cheers!
thank you for the show you two.
That little spot of paint on the Back of the cab a few videos ago, I was thinking, man that is to bright. But seeing the In side, I like it
Pro Tip Bro: Wet down the floor (or ground if outside) before sanding or painting and the particles will be drawn down and easier to clean up ... same principle as a Paint booth "Waterfall" works. Think the Chevy generates "Dust", try painting an F-16 in the Field LOL. BTW, the "Color" you chose is the same as an F-16's "Primer Color" (Epoxy Primer and "Epoxy" likes humidity, Urethane not).
Your doing a great job Brent, so glad I found your channel. Can’t wait for the next episode.
If you take it to Back In The 50's Brent I will have to get a picture standing next to It! Going to meet up with The Penny Boys!😆
Re: paint prep...I feel your pain.
But it's great to see your vision coming to fruition.
Lookin' good, soon we'll see Pablo and you cruisin' down the road.
Love the glossy look of the dashboard, great job 👏
Impressive truck well done which we had the treasure trove of old vehicles in Australia you guys have. I love your work well done amine from down under.
I see from the promo picture, that the paint is on and it looks so cool. Going to watch The whole video and see how you did it.
Like, share and spritz a little paint. 😄
Thank you Brent. For the video. I can relate to the tiring sanding and body work ! Love you guys. Glad Esther approved of it. She did say keep some Armor All handy with the white trim and upholstery. Thank you!
💕💯👊👍
Hey Brent!
I once had a 41 Chev Pickup. We painted it that color....My girlfriend called it "Baby-$h!+ Green".
It had a roll-out windshield. I loved that truck.
Well done !! It sure is coming together, bodywork & paint look so nice but wow 🤯 sure can test patience !!
Shiny paint and white seats!? That's gonna be a nice "goin' to town" rig!
It’s looking good with just that little bit of color. It’s a good time to shift to something else to do if you’re burned out on bodywork and sanding. And whatever you do it’s still moving forward so it’s all good. Can’t wait till the next video. Later
Wow just wow🎉that truck look's amasing allready🎉
MR NEON !!!!!! Nobody will be able to say "I didn't see him." Looks so cool.
Hey uncle, cool hey the ream Halfass Kustoms color paint, it suit the trukky really well,
Keep at it, L8ter
Ciao Ciao
2 videos, 3 videos, 4 videos, it's all part of the process.
I agree I would watch Him watching the paint dry, oh wait I did😊
that color is perfect for that truck ..good work Brent
Brent , love the color it definitely looks good shining, that color I don’t think would look good in satin . You are doing an awesome job with the truck, keep it up
All that hard work paid off, looks great 👍
Like the color for the truck! I like loud colors on old trucks!
Ecellent work Brenton. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love the colour choice, I have a 1953 Morris minor here in Australia with a similar green, luv it, looking good 👍🇦🇺
Man you should be using that old garage for the bodywork and painting ! Keep the mess out of your good shop ! Anyways it's always a pleasure watching you ! Thanks for sharing ! 😁👍
Yep that’s bright paint, nice colour 👍👍
Man, that’s looking really sweet !!!
Mon that's a Killer looking truck/ masterpiece!
Excellent video Brent :) Ester :) when work I work with my cousin George years I was head sander, plus clean up for preparation on take paint also seal and trim also named it ! Also sand primer too and anything for any vechiles! But one years so busy we both doing 4 vechiles in one shop and so many people want vechiles ready get to together so take vechile shows too that one year and lots hours to do all in ! Plus I was main person clean up floors with broom , dust pan and lots sanding dust each vechiles too! Also like this green paint put on this 1949 GMC too and make look like brand new too Brent! Well Done!
Love how Pablo always comes up to say hi at the end of your videos. This truck is is going to be the coolest.
I think you can speed up that blowing off with an industrial strength leaf blower.....LOL Great looking truck there!
Looking good! Taking the stage with the overall look!
Cool color.. i use a party tent as paint boot. 20x10. Trough it in the garbage bin when I'm done.. good luck.👍🇸🇯
G'day mate awesome...you look tired ..sure do appreciate your effort getting episodes out mate ..thanks buddy 👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
Hey Brent, The truck is looking great.
Brent the color is awesome. Just love the way you always laugh
Take care and thanks for sharing.
Hi Brent...thats Peter from Germany again...nice Color for the truck...a small tip ... build a spraykabin ..just 2 by 4 cheap wood with foil arround . Make one or two openings in the top and oneor two on the bottom . In the bottom oppenings take on a vacuum cleaner....i spray 2 cars by that way ...no dust in my shop.
and the artist mechanic apply s his golden touch yes paint time😚🤪🙃😁
I love the color. Will look amazing with white seat and white trim and whitewall tires
Yup, guessing thats really just the one thing that wasn't preplanned when building the new shop. Paintbooth with an area seperated to contain ,,,,,,,,, mess. lol. I am So Loving this build. Ty for taking us along
The colour is spectacular. But I agree with Esther.....white seats and you is a dangerous plan!! The bodywork imperfections can come later. Looking forward to see what's next. Be safe and stay well.
This is a real jewel and a shinny one ! Mint
Looking cool 😎
I really like the color. Good choice. White trim will spice it up also. 👍
First, don't worry about it, it's always interesting to see what you do on this amazing custom car. Anyway, you always laugh and it's pretty good to laugh with you. I follow you on this project since the beginning and I enjoyed all the stages.
Then, as your wife (was it your wife ?) said, it's a cool color. Between yellow and green which probably will change under the sun. Great ! 😉
Looking GREAT!!
Your custom truck, is looking great, nice work.
bck in the 70`s when I was a bodyman and painter I useto make a 3/4 to 1 inch triangle cut in the lid of the full can of paint to pour without a mess, then any left over paint seal the hole with masking tape. Or use a previous lid on a new can and keep that lid to use on the new can save all the lids it works out
Sure won’t lose site of her in a parking lot really colour is awesome 👍👋🇨🇦
Loving the Tyvek drop cloth!
My dad's 55 Chevy was white over Canary Yellow. I loved the depth of the color. When he had a small fender bender he found that the car was originally green, but was repainted as yellow at the factory as many others were. (It had a green interior.) It made the yellow stand out. I would love to see your roof painted white.
I want to see you clean the shop, that could tale 3 episodes 😂
Looking good ! Thanks for another , Brother !
That looks like the same color as the old Steiger tractors. I had a go-kart I wanted to paint. The farm my dad worked on happened to be painting their Steiger. My dad took me and the kart over to the farm and they painted my kart with the remains in the gun after they finished.
Looking good. Vinyl top padding is dense and easy to work with. Oh and it can be ...... Sanded!! LOL
I was Ryder 40 years ago at my cousins shop. Still use everything I learned. They will never put it on the can, but one “ barley pop” is the perfect amount of flash time between coats. lol.
Haven't been this excited since The General! Take a break, Brent. Remember, it's no fun until someone loses an eye!
I like the color choice Brent looks great. 👍🏾
Looks great Brent, so pleased for you both. Well done!
That Grey steering wheel rim looks great against that green, I'd be tempted to paint the fenders, top, and interior that color instead of white. But looks great Brent!
Mate been absolutely loving this build series. Extremely grateful for your time and effort with these videos - and your honesty. Paint colour is killer and "I dig it" too 🙏🙏👍👍.
Well done mate, you deserve it. 👍👍
It just keeps getting better
Looks great can't wait to see it all in that color
Wow!, that truck is really looking good. Nice to see it get to the finish stage
I like the color and as an old bodyman the best way to clean dust is an air line with a blower.
When my shed gets to that level of dust , I take to it with the yard blower, and blow it straight out the door. So satisfying seeing paint going on it.
Looking real good.
To quote you it looks "mint"
So awesome now, Brett! With just a little bit of color on it and clean primer on the rest, your vision is really coming to life. I know you generally don't like shiny things, because of the extra work it takes to make things perfect, but the results are going to be great!
Great choice on the color Brent.
White trim as an accent would really set it off!
Back in the late sixties i painted my 56 4 door h/t Chevy same color, it seemed to glow in the dark and was easy to find in the parking lots. Chrome reversed wheels and baby moons 😎
I love that color. It's going to be 1 of 1. Something really special.
Glad ur in a happier place niw, whew long process, paint looks killer, Happy wiffee likes it also, the white molding will look frickin awsome also, white seat ???.maybe..Glad u got shop cleaned up alot of dust, dust everwhere.been their before.. as allways later..
