Stayed home from work today just feeling like crap. Not a good day.. Then saw you posted a video. Happiness is now in abundance, there is dancing and much merriment. Haven't even saw the content yet, but I just love your episodes. Thanks for not giving up since all the bad that happened to you and yours. I could see living proof that GOD is good. God bless you and your friends and family. I live in the Minneapolis area and cannot wait to see what you bring to the back to the 50's. Later.
Get well fast
I think ALL the videos are interesting. It doesn’t matter what stage you are on, I always watch it all. It makes me feel like I’m hanging out in the shop with you.
You just can't beat Painless wiring kits--best on the market !!!
Agree , but they sure are proud of them
It’s alive!!!!!!! I won’t be there, but the General, is a presence, when it shows up, and I think you secretly enjoy wiring!😅
I'm just about to wire my Jeep CJ5 and having never wired a car, this video hit at the right time. I wish I had purchased a Painless harness instead of the cheap Amazon kit. It came with absolutely no instructions.
I prefer the painless Harness! They are worth the money.
I really like the instruction guide that Painless sends.
I always write what part number the switches, relays ext. are in the notes and keep the book in the car.
IT can come in REAL hand on the road trying to troubleshoot problems.
Another great program Brent. Was really cool that Painless sent you the harness. Have a wonderful evening. Take care 👍 👍👍👍
not boring at all, i think its awesome watching you sort wiring out/
You are a wiring genius , I know that it is much more relaxing than body work and that is easier to do long term . The truck sounds a tiny bit rough but that will straighten out as the build comes together . Thank you so much for having us along , this is starting to come together very nicely . God Bless you and yours , Stuart in Ontario ..
brent you will throw rocks at them amazon wiring kits after using the painless kit painless is just that PAINLESS they are made in the USA here in FT WORTH TEXAS they are the leading wiring harness in the world i love them
when i need one i just drive 8 miles to the warehouse and have them make me what i need they are awesome company to work with
They do make a good Kit Painless Coming along nicely Brent
Hey Brent, looked like that painless wiring kit was pretty good and a lot easier. And you did a great job of explaining your process for the wiring. Inch by inch you’re getting closer and it looks better each video so great job. Later
Thanks for Sharing Brent and Ester .. Take Care
Minty !
Thank You for sharing your video, and letting us hang out .
Later ...
if you have extra wiring for the rear, maybe consider some lighting under the tonneau cover. The newer trucks with the led bed lighting are pretty sweet.
Good video Brent. Much better than sanding for both you and me. LOL. Love this project Brent. Can't wait to see you and Esther enjoying your first drive.
Brent you’re taking on all the tough stuff. Body work. Them wiring. I would be a mess. Thank you so much for sharing! 💯👊👍
To me, wiring is the eazy part better than body work
Reach out to me Painless! I'm dirt poor and it's taking me forever to wire up my Rambler!😵💫
I had a painless wiring system for my 58 Chevy panel and it had written on each wire where they went every six inches, way cool
Glad to see back
Yes it runs Peace out
Love a bit of variation on the builds , Sounded like you were having some building work done ?
Much quicker than placing old wiring in to see it fail sooner or later and just doing a whole loom like this would be many more hours of time. So painless in the future builds or just redo old wires is a honest question that will be answered when you do another video. And as they say... "all work and no play makes Brent a sad boy"
Brent, one big step forward! Nice to hear it rumble!
Had to take a 3 hr break during the video, grandson's dentist appt. But I'm amassed at how you can read all the little print on the wires, without glasses.
Cant wait to see her rolling down Hwy 1
I like your musical choices during your footage of the sorting through wirings. Sounds terrific. Your editing's Professional.
I don't hate doing wiring, just some of it I don't understand, especially the LS swap stuff. That is why these more detailed videos are great!
Your one of the best that I’ve seen doing wiring , I would have pulled my hair out by now lol , keep the fantastic content coming Brent
I have to admit, I like the Painless system that you have. It looks very practical and you can loom things while you are in progress. |Very straight forward and easy to figure out. Your switches and hardware are the only challenge. Nice
You are so good at this. I always feel like you are speaking to me personally.
Thank god you’re doing this I was lost when you took it out of box. Get the Buick in the shop and fix it and let it ride.
I’ll tell people to like, share and tell your Best friends about Brent and Esther.
😄😯
Your truck looks really nice Brent I'm going through the same aggravation right doing body work.
I'm finding my body, but I'm enjoying.
It slowly. I've converted the wiring harness over to a spade type views from 80s truck.
Using most of my old wearing harness which is simple. Thank goodness I'm good wearing harasses.
I think Brent should produce his own harness 👌🤘
Progress. Truck sounds good running. Thanks for the video Brent.
Looking pretty cool 😎
Happy Wednesday Pablo and co.😊👍👍👍👍🇨🇦✌️
Really coming along nicely ! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and boy oh Boy it is shiny 🤩
wooo hooo almost there nice work
Thanks for sharing
As always - Thanks for another good one
🗿💨 that paint on the dash really pulls things together. What an awesome build👍💯 thanks for sharing Brent
Hi My Dear Friend Very Very Good Job ❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Brent. I live in the US and I bought a lot of parts for my 48 chevy truck from heavy chevy classic in M.O.
really glad to see you guys enjoying yourselves again since the fire. truck looks amazing
Here we go again. It’s time for another great video 👍👍
The truck is going to be awesome! Cant wait to see the vinyl on it. Love the whole look in the rear. Keep it up!thanks
24:11 The "Brake" wires that go into the engine compartment are for the Brake failure/fault connector on the proportioning valve.
Brent I find the wiring wayyyy more interesting than bondo and sanding LOL
The dash on this one is beautiful. Great design.
..the 54 is back and still leaking anti freeze - "oh goodie" haha 🤪, nice wiring kit she's getting there cheers you guys 👍
Even though you didn't manage to get what you wanted all finished up! it's still good progress. I can't wait to see you take this Truck down the road for its first drive. It will be a monogenous moment in my eyes. After all what you've had to deal with an overcome to get Your shop and everything else back on track, and up and running.
I like creativity, innovation, development, and seriousness at work... Today is the first viewer and first like 💚👍... A follower from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Brent i love the green ,looks awsome
Neat!!!... Your patience is unbelievable... I'D???...
The puzzle is really looking good. Im glad it's going to be shiny. Too much flat and satin out there. You did lots of good metal work and it will look great 👍
Love the wiring videos. And that Painless book looks great for reference purposes later. It started on the key.....mission accomplished. By hook or by crook. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Back in the day, and bear in mind that I am now 76 and in the UK, I was quite happy to rewire cars or even build cars and wire them, but when fuel injection and computerisation became the norm I switched back to older motorcycles which were , and still are, easy to modify and customise to ones own needs. Full marks to you for being able to master the intricacies of modern wiring systems and I do find it very informative and supportive watching you work your magic on the copper snakes.
Brent when you were going through the box of Painless stuff I think Pablo was waiting to see if there were any treats in there!
I'm sure I'm not the first to do it, But when I would wrapped harness wiring I would use a eye bolt , The ones with a gap ,Slip the wire inside the eye through the gap and then run it down the inside of the wrap ,Providing its a split wrap ,Worked for me.
Cant wait for you to finish it and do a burn out in new shop Bro.
I use Ron Francis Wiring kits on my builds. Instructions are easy to follow.
Good to see you install the painless harness. I plan to use the same thing for my 65 Mustang when the time comes
Yes Sir!!!
Well done sir Brent you made it look just that simple
Do you still have your custom 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook? I watched the photo collage under “old builds” and that thing looked mean!! That would be cool for back to the 50s
I think you break down a wiring harness about the best I have seen. Sounds good!!
Love the videos been watching since Deedee speed shop went there You're very blessed with knowledge and family One concern put handrails on those stairs for safety this is Harold from fort Worth Texas thanks
hey brent, great video again. check in the painless kit there is normally the tool for running the wires into the ducting. looks like a cone with a handle and spilt in it.
Hello Brent, the dome light wire could power a GM old styled under the hood trouble light with the retractable harness built in. It's long enough to use from front to rear (to fine stuff in the bed or change tires in the dark). As always, another great video, Thank you Sir.
Is that a 1953 or 52 Chevy?... I learned how to shift on a 1953 three on the column when I was 13 years old on old horse trails in the southern part of New Jersey, Cape May County, guess it was 1975? Thumbs Up Dude!!!...
Great job (you can explain it very well)👍🏻
That model T with the red windows is a good choice!
That truck looks 👌great 👍 thats talent bud and love the color.
Brent,in my book you are a genius!!Keep up the great videos!
The wire marked "brake sw" that runs under the hood is for the proportioning valve.
This is what I wish I did instead of buying some crap amazon kit for my CJ5, they sent me a harness for a CJ3B, I should have just used this since it already had a 12 volt GM Alternator conversion
Brent you are appreciated nothing is boring. Great to hear Ester aswel. Take care.
This is an awesome kit. I know how much fun wiring can be, scratch wired the Fargo, used the oem s-10 wiring in the Studebaker. Charlie’s us getting an amazon kit, as well as my next project. Seens the painless kit is less painful. I like the wiring cover kit. Could have used that a few times over.
Looking great. Really enjoying following this build. Thanks for what you do.
It's very interesting, and the color is looking the part !
You know, green isn't my favorite color but the one you're using is one I can see myself in . another great great job and I still enjoyed the opportunity to watch
Lookin' good!
I especially like "the key thing".
Wiring is excellent! As usual always enjoyable watching!
I love your Project, This pickup is looking great different from any other customize pickup l’ve seen .
Hi Brent and Ester, I vote for you taking the 54, to back to the 50' s
I just want y'all to get there and back safe.
Don't rush the truck!
Truck is really coming along nicely!! Take care
Really enjoy watching your vids…wiring is not fun…lol…interesting idea I saw for the “3rd brake light”…a guy wired his to a bunch of red leds that were hidden in his frame, and the whole ground around the car lit up when he hit the brakes!! It was super cool and satisfied the “requirement” for a 3rd light…it certainly got the attention at night…
Good job as usual Brent.
If it's not ready, let The General keep making the rounds. Ty for taking us along
I needed a Painless wiring kit when I did my D-100! I (like an idiot) used all black wires to a 12 circuit fuse box. That gave me more than one migraine! I thought the black wires would "disappear" for a clean look.
Well that was painless😊 I hope some day you can give the old 54 a makeover. It so reminds me of my late mother's 54 Dodge Royale.
Sure was a win hearing it run. It really looked like with the detailed manual that harness was truly pretty Painless. As always thank you for taking us along...catch you on the next one...later
PS. Esther's black Buick for Back to the 50's?
Looking good 👍 I never did know what happened to the Pontiac 3 window.
Cool video, lots of stuff to wire. That dash I love it ! Good music, some that I'll look for ( more music for my jukebox) Thx Brent !
Not to sound stupid but I like the truck paint job just as it is , looks like a creamsicle. LOL Enjoy that you guys share a portion of your life with us it's a pleasant time spent, and as a bonus I learn a thing or two.
I have no use for a wiring harness, but i did order some gloves from Ironclad.
Oh Brent don't matter what your doing it's a learning experience for most of us you make the wiring look so easy but most of us look at it like a nightmare 🙈
