- The NEW Audi S4 is here and receives some big changes. Under the hood is a 3.0L turbocharged V6 that is pumping out 349HP & mated to an automatic transmission. On the outside you will find a ton of new sheet metal and updated wheels. On the interior you will find a racy cockpit that balances sport with luxury and a standard 10in infotainment screen. Is the updated 2020 Audi S4 the PERFECT luxury sport sedan?

it's not nardo grey. this is quantum grey. nardo is an RS exclusive color and is lighter than quantum.
My dad had an S4 when I was a kid; it was always my favorite car he ever had.
I will save this video and watch 3 years later to become my discounted dream car.

Great review. I have two S4s; a 2001 B5 six speed and a 2014 B8.5 six speed. Both cars are so well built and just a blast to drive. I've had the B5 since it was new. The interior of the B5 is so well designed and timeless with the red illumination and white needles it still looks like it's from the future. For the B8.5 I was looking for an S4 with the manual 6 speed, the sport differential and the B&O sound system...jackpot. Both cars rip through the snow on Blizzaks which is key to where I live. The B5 and B8.5 are also stock...no mods...no need. The S4 is probably my ATF of the sedan world. That 2020 you're reviewing is a thing of beauty and I just might have to take one for a spin. franz...Personally, the all new Audi interiors look like garbage to me. "All screens" that are covered in grime all the time just doesn't say "luxury". So, I'm glad this S4 hasn't switched over yet! It is really nice!

Yes and also BMW like in the new X7. Mercedes Benz is the most consistent but when Audi and BMW push the envelope they make the best interiors.

This is the first video I'm watching on this channel and I have to say this guy is great at his job! Quick, smooth, and focused review about relevant things with splashes of good humour thrown in the mix. Thoroughly enjoyed.
I've had an RS3 and an RS5, but the S4 is the best overall car. It's 30K cheaper than the RS5 and as a road car has better balance. RS3 is an engine inside a small small car with a really low rent interior, road noise and a lot of front end push. Drive all 3 cars and the S4 is the best overall car if you want a fast luxury road car. For the track, you need a different car, but most people don't drive to work on a track.

Great review! Im really liking this new s4. I’m an Audi owner for life, their car’s are insane specially when you tune them, my Audi always puts a smile on my face when I drive it.

I like Audi’s - I have one. But this A4 just hasn’t moved on the exterior and interior design enough. The new Q8, A7 interiors are so much nicer. Seats look beautiful though and there’s enough carbon spilled over the car to keep Joe happy. 😂

The Audi A4 is not new generation why would change interior and get nicer designs/features it was just facelift model. By 2022-2023 the Audi A4 get big changes for new gen in design, newer touchier screens etc maybe similar to E-Tron GT that has Audi newer design language.
Audi totally revised the Q7 interior during its face lift to the new generation style dashboard. The game is moving on so fast and the interior looks dated even after the face lift (the HVAC controls, the awkward stand alone screen... )
Gareth Hood Q7 had tough competition with BMW and Mercedes. Audi already working on next gen A4, A5, Q5 they due in almost 3 years. I waiting for e-tron gt it look better than A7
S4 is truly the perfect balance of performance, luxury and utility. My favorite car of all time

The interior would be close to perfect if the infotainment screen was more integrated. Love the climate controls, the digital cockpit, the steering wheel, and the seats

Just got one and it’s so much fun. So quick. 150km an hour before you know it. Highly recommend the car. Interior makes you want to keep it clean it’s so nice.
Can't beat Genesis these days. Completely loaded, and at the same price. Not to mention the warranty. You're just paying for the badge on this one.

I priced that car out on the Audi website and with even some of the features everyone will want it comes out to at least $64k. The car you reviewed is an absolute stripper for mid $50Ks.
Also even Audi’s own website says 0-60 in 4.4 seconds not 4.1.

Yeah 0-60 in 4.1. Then, 61-100 in about 30 seconds. Overpriced junk w/no performance. Damn RS3 blow this thing off the highway in every aspect and you can prob get one for the same price....

Straight up. My favourite colour on any car
I wish Audi kept the DSG and supercharger from B8.5. I still have my 2014 model(purchased new Nov 2013) , now with APR Stg1 tune (458hp), coil overs, SS brake lines, slotted rotors and Alu Kreuz. This thing is so much more fun compared to when it was stock. Test drove the B9 few years back and didn't like the steering which got softer even in dynamic. I might test drive the 2021 to see if they improved it.

Every car company copying it now past 3 years now Audi been doing it since 2004 Audi A8 and modern one 2011 Audi A8. BMW had it on 2012 3 series and Mercedes on 2015 C Class, 14 CLA
Wish they did them all like the new A6/A7s w/ the 2 screens integrated into the dash
This is their oldest interior. Their newest interiors no longer have the TV over the fireplace look.

I just Got my Audi S4 and yes I just hate the plastic shifters so I am having carbon fiber shifters installed, easy and a beautiful fix! So much better.

None of the auto manufacturers do an interior like Audi. I have a 2001 B5 S4 and the interior is timeless with the red cockpit lighting and the super bright, white needles. The interior is black with brushed aluminum wrapped around the cockpit, including black leather seats and silver Napa leather inserts. The seats perfectly match the brushed aluminum. So sick...

I have a 2015 S4 I bought new. Still have it and luv it. But this model has grown on me.
I hope that 10 inch screen is retractable like it is on my Audi. A4 is way to small for me, but that interior is first class.

The warm weather package, gets ventilated seats, rear sun sun shades, and 4 way lumbar, for a $650 add...so not exorbitant amount of additional money.

Pretty sure this S4 competes with the top trim Genesis G70 it has similar power and size..the new 2021 G80 is pretty nice..have to wait and see.

I prefer the matte silver mirrors from yesteryear but whatever.. the times have changed.
I remember driving my friends V8 S4 back in 2004. It had 340 bhp and drove and sounded superb. So i wonder, more than a decade later... Audi should’ve been able to squeeze more ponies outta that turbo V6. The old 2.7 turbo V6 from many years ago was a tunable beast. Hopefully someone like APR uncorks this new Audis full potential. Beautiful automobile and the lighter shade of blue on this car is crazy looking.
I am not digging those headlights. The LED running lights look like old-school hip hop eyebrows. When they're lit up, they look ridiculous.

Black mirrors doesn’t mean “S” model. It’s actually apart of “Black optics” packaging that can be added to just about any Audi model.

I finally sat in one last weekend. I have a B8.5 to compare. I don’t like the B9 body, dash, screen and most everything else about the car. IMO the B8.5 looks and feels better.
