- The RS3 takes everything Audi has learned from racing and rallying and brings it into a compact sedan. Under the hood is a 2.5L inline-5 that pumps out 400HP & is mated to a 7-speed DCT. It's exterior features RS specific bodywork, wheels, and massive brakes. On the inside you will find some of the best seats in the business and a steering wheel right out of an Audi race car. Hey, I'm a guy at 57 years of age and I have owned many cars in my life. Last year, I bought my self an RS3 and I have to say that this is the most
rewarding, fun and adventurous car I have ever droven. I order the car without speed limiter and have drove it on German Autobhan a couple of times, Guess what? Max speed (290 km/h) was just a dream. So easy, so fun, the car behavor in that speed was like an ordinary car during 100 km/h. I love my car:-)

You can't order an RS3 without a limiter. You can however pay to raise the limit from 250 to 280 kph (290 on the speedometer). You need a tune to remove the speed limiter.
Think i will pick me one up pre owned or the Golf R choices choices :)

The sound of that 2.5L inline5 motor is completely insane. The grey and black optics package combined with those Brembo (I think?) calipers is just "sinister". That is how to build an automobile. Smokin' car and smokin' review!

I love the Nardo Edition with the blacked out badges. However, I just test drove an M2 today and I think BMW's Hockenheim Silver is slightly better than Nardo Gray.
@@vomErsten Grey isn't a color. It's a shade. Colors please. This "wet cement" is drab. The RS3 definitely isn't a drab. Quite to the contrary.

I have a 2019 Nardo Grey RS3 and love the understated good looks. One benefit of the design is it doesn’t scream “boy racer” especially to the cops.

This gray color with the black looks really nice on this Audi. But would look better with all black wheels
I love these cars every time i see them in person. my favorite color they come in is that orange. The styling is on point and interior is excellent. The only thing I heard negative about them was someone who takes theirs to track days and mentioned a tendency for terminal understeer. Which unless you are going to track days your typical owner will never notice it. Great bang for your buck car.

Oh yes it definitely is.💯 Honestly one of the fastest sedan’s on the market right now hand’s down. Especially with a simple tune, down pipe, air intake, and exhaust. Your smoking Lambo’s and Ferrari’s all day and night long.

When you did the 2021 Toyota Supra videos where you were not allowed to comment it gave me a new appreciation for the sounds the car you were driving was making. That was already an awesome part of your videos. You have always given me a good idea of what these cars sound like from the cockpit, which I love about your videos. The silent drive in the 2021 Toyota Supra (both of them) was a new experience and I enjoyed it. I love your commentary, largely because you are so knowledgeable and down to earth about these awesome cars, so I want your commentary. That said, I love the no commentary portion of this video. I think it is a great compliment to the overall "ride" we take with you as we explore these amazing cars. I've also got to say, it has given me an even greater appreciation for how good a driver you are.

Audi has really been doing great things! I am loving their new cars. I’m planning on purchasing a new car this summer. I really been liking the S4.
The Screen goes down when you drive on 2017, and mid way through 2018. Half way through 2018 they had to remove the screen retracting while driving to meet some US backup camera rule, They also neutered the exhaust note at the same time. If you are ever in Utah feel free to drive my early 2018 it is a whole different car.
This the only 4 door car i would love to own 😍

Why, this looks so much better. The hatch is for utility, this is a 400 hp rocket not meant to pack most groceries.
The hatchback looks way better in my opinion the regular rs3 just looks like a regular ol sedan
If it’s a hatch, I’d have the focus rs, but sedan rs3 over any car, yes that means the cla45 too!

That diamond stitching is amazing, the seat belts are nice!!! The infotainment screen should be able to disappear. I still like the car overall!!! Joe keep bringing these amazing cars!!!!

I agree. I recently got an SQ5 (2019) and they told me the infotainment screens don't disappear into the dash on 2018 and newer models because of regulations requiring the back up camera to display immediately upon placing the car into reverse. I'm not sure if that's actually the case...or an excuse..

@@RaitisRides funny thing is i even watched your vids around the time i picked up my car, i love the car, but now that i work from home , i don't drive a lot , plus driving an sti as a daily isn't practical, now a couple years down the line if i had it as a weekend car that'd be perfect, but for now i want something with similar perks(awd, quad exhaust, turbo) but just want some luxury involved as well, so depending on the price im between the s4 and the rs3, basically whichever one i get a better deal for! thanks for the video , really helped me determine that i wanted an audi!
traded my 2017 sti that was heavily modified for an rs3 yesterday, only thing i regret is the price tag, but the car is a beautiful machine!!
@@robertorodriguez2911 i ended up getting an m235i gran coupe which is the bmw version of an S3, still satisfied regardless but next car def will be a ttrs or rs3, we'll see!
@@robertorodriguez2911 i honestly couldn't afford the price tag, ironically i lost my job the day i got my car LOL but anyways car i have is relatively quick, 306 hp, 0-60 in 4.4 seconds , awd, and it's a bmw still got a german car and i love it!
That 5 cylinder man, so unique and rare, baby V10 exhaust note, the car is really nice but the price is quite high doe !

AND, it’ll do it in the rain too. Quattro is amazing system and it’s so stable in our famous Florida rain storms. Yes I’ve launched in the rain and it still just goes. ANY 2wd sports car on the planet is toast. Yes ANY. Plus, throw just an e85 tune and you’re way over 500hp. Sick cars

Hey Joe, the feds forced Audi to change their center screen in mid-2018 because of back up camera regulations. My ‘17 s3 screen drops into the dash when I push the button. To be honest, I rarely lower it since I regularly have apple CarPlay running on it.
I have a 2018 Audi S3. I'm trying to make my mind up of which new Audi to get. Unfortunately the A3 lineup is getting a major refresh end of this year or next year as a 2021 model. Not really a time to buy one then, especially someone like me that has the current generation. Maybe I'll continue to drool over the new 2020 S5 coupe. Love my Audi's!

This all day but it is smaller than the M340i.
This car rocks and responds very well to tuning. APR has a tune that adds 66HP and 88TQ WITH WARRANTY..if you want to go off warranty, you add 132HP and 132TQ with E85. Just a tune, no parts. Bolt up turbo kits push this over 700HP..Amazing platform! Wish they sold the RSQ3 in America

Great review. The screen no longer can be retracted because of a federal regulation on the response time of the back up camera. The back up camera has to respond with a certain time. If it has to extend, it can't meet that time. I own a 2016 A3 2.0 Quattro (has back camera and but built before the time the regulation actually took effect) and the screen does retract. Also, what appear to a zonk (not a full black roof) is a blessing. These black painted roofs are not as durable as the color paints. I'd rather have the black replaced with the body color particularly in the Florida sunshine. It looks cool but they are known to fail early.
