Was diagnosed with COPD at 29.. Quit smoking cigs 3 years ago thanks to grizzly pouches... Then switched to Zyn... Then to Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff...
It's great to hear that you quit smoking and have found alternatives that are helping you. I would still make sure I read carefully the ingredients of the products I'm using.
Pouches totally help stop and or reduce smoking.. chemically they will balance your angst as to not get edgy or anxious while reducing or stopping smoking. Specially since a pouch you can keep for about half hour in your mouth. I mean if anyone who was chain smoking wanted to stop or reduce I’d give them pouches. Then the mental habits of smoking are easier to deal with and being conscientious one can move towards stopping all together..
Yes I absolutely agree it's a good stepping stone on the journey to smoking cessation.
I was a lifelong smoker and switched to vaping about 10 years ago.
For the last three days I've switched to low nicotine pouches and I haven't felt the urge to vape at all.
I am surprised how little pouches I need to get through my day.
I think in three months I will be off the pouches.
Thanks for sharing your journey and so glad to hear about the progress you have made over the years! keep it up!
I quit smoking and went to vaping. I COULD NOT stop until I found Zyn pouches. I was able to switch almost immediately. I’d still hit the vape first thing in the morning but I was able to stop that fairly quickly.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that the pouches have helped you to quit smoking and vaping! But do remember the pouches still do contain nicotine which is both addictive and has effects on the body. But it's definitely a great leap forward with your experience turning you from a smoker to an ex smoker! well done!
@@dentalbites9317 aside from the addictive qualities, why is nicotine bad for your health?
The zyns 100% cause gum recession and mouth problems...
😪
Get your vit C levels checked, that's what causes receding gums
@@jeanettefurstenburg737 Every oral problem I had stopped when I started rinsing at night with half hydrogen peroxide half water. All the bleeding, bad breath, gum issues...gone.
Im upset because i was at my 24 hr mark then i had a cigarette but luckily i didnt vape but just had a cigarette but thought about doing these nicotine pouches and try to get off this stuff but i do like nicotine and i enjoy smoking and vaping but i know its bad for you
Nicotine pouches might work for some individuals to help them quit smoking. The same goes for vaping. The important thing is to keep that end goal in mind which is to let go eventually completely.
@@dentalbites9317 yes I totally agree with you and thank you for the advice 😊
The pouches might really really help, specially with the intention to quit smoking. It will ward off the angst, just be aware to control the amount and reasons you use them for. It totally helps reduce withdrawals chemically wise.. the mental habits are up to you
you're most welcome!@@bigcurt3572
What do we know about nicotine pouches?
Well let's see what do we know about tobacco pouches? They have been around for decades so in retrospect we know that nicotine pouches are safer than traditional tobacco pouches and smoking.
It's called HARM REDUCTION!
Why do they continuously have to say we just don't know anything about it yet. It can't be any worse than what we've been doing.
Nicotine pouches definitely would fall under the category of "harm reduction", I do agree with you but although they might offer a potentially safer alternative, it's important to consider individual health factors. Also, let's not forget these do contain nicotine and are fairly new and ongoing research would help us understand the long term effects better.
The first pouch product was developed in the beginning of the 2000s by a small start up company Niconovum. This company registered the product in 2008.
These nicotine pouches have been around just about as long as vaping has. If you research the side effects of the FDA approved smoking cessation methods like nicotine patches and gum they have more side effects than nicotine pouches and vaping put together. No one ever said that any options are safe it's all about choosing the best option for yourself to use as a stepping stone on your path to a nicotine/tobacco free life.
I love that! Absolutely agreed!@@gregc7770
Nicotine is NOT addictive, you need to be more informed do some research
Appreciate you watching the video and sharing your perspective. The scientific consensus strongly supports that nicotine is addictive though. It's always important to rely on evidence based information. If you do have any specific studies or sources that support what you said, i'd be grateful if you share them.

I'm not promoting smoking as cigarettes contain very dangerous chemicals but nicotine is not one of them,if you use nicotine, say bye to Alzheimer's, Parkinsons,Autism,Cancer etc
since it is established that nicotine is indeed very addictive, I would say that claims around its effectiveness in treating or managing cancer or Parkinsons, should be read with caution since in this case probably the risks outweigh any potential benefit. However, if you do have any studies that prove those claims, please do share them @@jeanettefurstenburg737
Let's use some critical thinking-why would nicotine gums/patches-the addictive part of cigarettes (claimed) help people quit smoking?
Snus
Yes both Snus and nicotine pouches look very similar and are both placed between the lip and the gum but one major difference is that unlike Snus, nicotine pouches are tobacco free.
Oh i never knew thanks for telling me@@dentalbites9317
