M240 owners try not to say they’re better than M2’s challenge (impossible)
I have a m240 and will say it, m2 is better. The m240 is a wanna-be m2 but still, I love it. 540whp e40 tune. Port injection coming soon. Oh and if the m2 ever gets awd, I will get one.
M2 is better overall but for me personally I’m never going to the track. Just backroads on the weekends shifting a 6 speed. But also it’s cheaper. But it shouldn’t have that m badge

It’s not that the m240i is a better car then the m2 obviously, it’s just that the engine is better , more reliable , more power easily, and less and cheaper maintenance, that includes breaks tires suspension etc …

I have stage 2 on my 330e, I got 400hp/640Nm out of it, I also change DP and Sparkplug and Filter. 😄💯👌 Stage 2 on M240i would be awesome🤩

I usually skip most reviews but this was brought so well I kept watching. Currently owning a similar m140i and I adore it.
I just bought one today, without OPF and the big M breaks :D but after watching the last minutes.. why do I need those big breaks^^ can´t wait to get the licence plates..
Im getting one next week, does it feel like a boat when you push it around corners ?

Hold on i doesnt have opf anymore ? How ? i mean i assume correctly that you are in germany yes ? and the tuv does not like opf deletes.
but great video i watched it till the end. would have been nice if we could have seen the speedometer as you were driving though.

M2 Comp > M240i > M2 when it comes to engine. always shocks me that the base M2 doesn't have an S55

@@simonecambi572 I don’t own this car anymore I own a 2020 M340i now but for stage 2 u need a catless down pipe so the down pipe will b 299 and the tune depending which u go with me personally I use MHD was 558$ USD

Hi mate, does the xhP invalidate warranty? Thinking about doing it on my 240

Any modification to the powertrain of the car will invalidate your warranty. If you're worried about that just wait until it comes out of warranty and then do the mods

@@oliver3699 Yes it will be detectable. Once they plug that computer in your car they will be able to see everything that was done. They probably won't care unless you're going there to get work done under warranty, at which point they will obviously argue that you modifying the car caused it to fail therefore invalidating your warranty

i believe so. The warranty is invalid after MHD

Cute but stage 1 is not enough he needs a DP resonator delete straight pipe and a TU pump to be on stage 2+ that’s when you really release the b58 potential

Standard 0-60 in the m240i is actually 4.4sec
With xdrive it’s 4.1 and the new one can get 3.6 seconds stock
showing the license plates with an illegal opf modification is not the best idea. If you hold the downshift paddle a litte bit longer he shifts automaticly to the lowest possible gear. i have the same car with mhd stage 1 & xhp stage 3, 440hp and 620nm

@@azizdrives a draggy 0 to 60 1/4 mile times and so on everyone watches the review of the car but really are waiting for the true performance figures they love the car inside and out but what can this car do. Most people fast forward to the car they have chosen to find out how fast is it for the money I am paying. That's what most people look for. Performance facts, Cars style interior and exterior = interest but the buck stops with what can I expect when I floor the gas pedal .
B58 over any N or S engine except for S58..🎉

M2 is mutch better handling and breaking car on the track, DCT gearbox is faster and more brutal than 8speed ZF in m240. Besides M2 looks and sounds way better.
It looks much more aggressive and of course it would be faster than a standard m240i but this has been tuned, so it should have a good chance

My friend ur wrong the ZF8 is miles ahead of the DCT whether it’s tuned or stock and the m2 Carry’s the n55 a shit motor compared to the b58 in ever circumstance besides maybe sound cuz that’s preference based
@@G20Gabe zf8 is slower, boring and mutch less fun than dct. B58 is better engine but it's not milles ahead over n55 and n55 sounds better, not to mention steering , handling and looks which are mutch superior than m240.
@@karolmaciejewski340 it is definitely miles ahead of the n55 the b58 fbo is simply down pipe and tune too get that same power on an n55 u need charge pipe intercooler and intake on top of the down pipe and tune too still not make more power and also be less reliable that’s miles ahead. ZF8 speed is definitely not slower I’ve driven a dct there fun but the second u tune a ZF8 it becomes way better then a dct and already alone is Better
