Everyone save yourself some time and go watch "Late night with the Devil" good movie but I'll tell anyone, that the ending is hands down, competing with any horror movie for the greatest ending of all time.

The scene when she chews thru her umbilical cord had me laughing because it felt like an homage to Divine when she chewed thru her umbilical cord in John Water's Female Trouble. The last 15 minutes were pretty solid..and the scene when she was giving birth was raw, crazy fun.
Yeah laughed at that and when her water broke. Like damn ok

I liked it a lot. The music, costuming and set was really well done. My audience was talking the whole movie and finally shut up that last 7 min. lol

I always hate the criticism “it’s been done before”. Not everyone is a movie buff and has the time or wish to watch every movie ever made. This was my first nunxploitation movie and it terrified me enough to want to explore the genre. Isn’t that worth something?
You're not alone in that thinking. I think people also forget, there are only so many plots you can do. The difference is who does what with that plot! Then there's only so many scary things you can do.

also i realized sydney pulls out her finger nail (i hate those scenes) but at least it had some type of meaning? nails on the cross etc
the fact sydney produced this is kinda cool, of course the ending was predictable but the baby didnt harm her.... i would of loved that she escaped and raised the child without it being a 2nd jesus but that would be boring. also the bathing scene was a tease then later on u get the milkfest still pretty weak characters the smokin girl is the same as the smoking girl from nun 2 except lot prettier so i like that.

I liked it in terms of atmosphere and how creepy churches can be. It wasn’t paced well and I wish they explained more about what was going on with those nuns and masks etc. but I didn’t put a whole lot of thought into it

This movie felt less like a horror movie and more like a badass action flick near the end lol. Never once was i scared. I did think it was cool how she was destroying those crazy people at the end tho😂.

It's so strange to see Alvaro Morte (the professor of La casa de papel) like a priest. But, the strangest thing is to see a woman who is about to give birth, who is capable of running away into the catacombs and killing etc.. Very absurd ciao from Italy... Not from the convent...
That part at the end where she's giving birth and yelling out over and over in anguish really reminded me of the bathroom scene with Nic Cage in Mandy. Even had her face covered in blood 😂🩸🩸

I’m literally already nervous by y’all’s faces 😭😭😭 I WANT TO LIKE THIS SO BAD the trailer was giving gothic bad beezy killer kult vibes but tbh idk if anyone else thinks this but in euphoria Sydney Sweeney was AMAZING. she had some of the most BEAUTIFUL SHOTS. But her acting is mid. She was supported by so many actually insanely talented people. When she’s in smaller projects or just movies there’s just a lot missing. And she’s says she doesn’t like to be sexualised but then she did anyone but you. So hopefully this one is different 😭😭😭
Tbh I feel like I would hate this, I hate when they put pregnancy in horror movies as something so invasive and demonic but I also hate when they portray it as something easy and silly in comedies. I guess it's because of my interest in midwifery and the image of pregnancy is very neutral. Also a man in Spain last year was on the news for unnecesarily cutting his baby's umbilical cord with his teeth similar to how Sydney Sweeney did in this movie, it was so lame and uneeded and of course the media praised HIM as if he saved the baby from a horrible fate when it was actually a very smooth and normal birth from his wife's POV. Yeah I just hate this sh1t lmao needed to get that off my chest

I remember Gwen was running her mouth, and all I could think was, "This is the kind of conversation you have at night in the bathroom you share!" And everytime they mentioned the meek inheriting the earth, I was like, "But meek people don't impregnate someone against their will, and torture another to death." I was rooting for her when she started taking people out!
Also, were those baby human sounds at the end? I thought she might've given birth to a grown adult by the weird noise it was making.

See, I think it had tension and does wonderfully with it. The bad part is there isnt much payoff. She just kind of.. gets away .. Idk. I do like the ending. The end is the hardest part of a movie or story to write so i think they did just fine
Killing the baby seems like a very weird decision.
The film is complete blasphemy and endorses infanticide, this garbage is what the powers that be in kabbalist satanic Hollywood puts out near easter to mock Christianity and the resurrection. Everything about this film is profane, but Hollywood loves to mock Christianity.

It was literally a monster, the other attempts didnt work and im pretty sure this one didnt either. The sounds it made were not normal and the small glimpse we get in the end didnt look normal. I would kill it too.

That's infanticide, they never showed the baby, it could be a normal clone, from the genetic experiment , even so, it's still a baby, we don't get to make those decisions, only God is the giver and taker of life, otherwise it's murder and humans become monsters.

I found her performance similar to euphoria which I liked. She can be kind of dumb and boring and then take it there with the drama.

I'm not the biggest fan of horror movies. However I do like ones with good storylines...which are rare in that genre most of the time imo. The plot on this one and the ending most definitely don't appeal to me. Besides I'm not the biggest fan of the lead actress.
Just because two people don’t like a film doesn’t mean everyone is gonna feel the same I actually had a good time with the film…but I can understand it won’t be for everyone though.

actually, Sydney Sweeney was offered the role a few years ago but the production never started because i believe lacks of funds. years gone by and with the connection that she had, Sydney reach out to the writer and helped the movie get made. Hollywood did not forced Sydney to be in it, she wanted this project in the first place.
