Smoggy lapping 6 marbles and gaining a 10.17 second lead in just 4 laps is actually astonishing
I feel so rewarded rootng for the hazers this time through (rip raspberry racers) after this race. Smoggy is a legend now. I was so sad to see him at 11 after that qualifier performance but when he was put under pressure, really pulled through
@@TweEkc I certainly believe he was pacing himself during Qualifiers, and knew that his skillset dealing with the turns, often going flat-out in those really quick corners, would make him stand out in the race. Excellent job by the Hazers, all around! #HazeAmaze
Smoggy should be checked for unauthorized use of N0S... Haahahahaha he was just a "haze" (pun intended) for those lapped marbles...

One of if not the the greatest marbula 1 performance. Had a great battle but that speed shine through and ended up dominating the field
6 marbles lapped. I think that's a record that'll stick for quite a while
The record for most lapped marbles was originally 1 set twice.

As a Galactic fan who was paying close attention to our team, I can safely say that in both the qualifier and the actual race, the track itself was the biggest issue, and Cosmo could've had a much better performance had the track layout not been so disruptive.

From missing Q2 to breaking two Marbula One records. The obvious lapping record of 6 (formerly 1) and the margin of victory record being 10.17 seconds (previous record being 8.18 by Red Eye in Season 2 GP 11)
Not one of. It was simply THE most impressive.
Epic duel between Red Eye and Smoggy! That ice wall was absolutely brutal, but glad we could keep second at least. Mid pack was crazy unpredictable.
Yeah, both did really well. Smoggy just seemed to figure it out the entrance a lap faster, but it really could have gone either way.

That ice was has brutal especially for team momo it cost up I both the race and qualifying.

Thanks so much to Jelle and the rest of the JMA. The attention to detail on the scoring pylon is spectacular. The line graphs at the end really show just how complex and time consuming it must be to get the details on the screen.
Great race by the Hazers, CCE and the Wisps (who didn't look great midrace). Great job by Wispy to turn it around and get back up onto the podium. That's why he's the Wisps' captain!
Believe me, we need a loyal team to check the scores. New volunteers are welcome for the next M1 races!

That was an absolutely breathtaking race. Red Eye and Hazey just in a completely different world of their own, creating with absolutely zero room for debate, the greatest battle for the win in the history of Marbula One. That was amazing.
What a recovery from Yellow, from dead last on lap 1 to recover into the top 10 on the last 3 laps

Man, that ice patch ruined a lot of runs. It makes me all the more proud of Clem's fastest lap. That point is going to help. Two top 5s are a great way to start for the O'rangers!

@@dougball4769 I'm a Green Ducks fan, and I also root for the Turtle Sliders in M1, but I agree. The performance from Smoggy was literally next level. A 10 second win, and lapping 6 marbles secured the victory.
That battle between Red Eye and Smoggy was almost as good as Max vs Charles in Jeddah!
Exactly I thought that too . they were using the circuit . the strategy they follow was amazing to watch.

What an absolutely insane race. As a hazers fan, I'm ecstatic after that incredible performance by Smoggy overlapping so many marbles, but I also have to congratulate Red Eye on the great struggle for first place - either side deserved the win!

That might be overshadowed because Smoggy managed to get such a large lead in the final 4 laps of the race.
I know all anyone will be talking about is Smoggy's incredible performance, but I just wanna take a moment and appreciate how much Minty Maniacs improved between qualifiers and this race. An upward trajectory for sure.
17th to 5th in this race alone! We were in the running for 3rd for awhile there! I hope this trajectory stays! #cold4gold

P.S. Just noticed that the lap by lap chart starts with the positions at the end of lap 1 and not the starting positions. I think the starting positions would be better.
Would have been nice if Clementin had made the podium but still a very respectable result.
Couldn't be more satisfied, considering the unpredictability of this track...

Ok but WHAT an absolutely insane race. Red Eye and Smoggy being ahead of the rest by 14 seconds at one point?? Smoggy wins by 10 seconds??? I cant believe I keep saying this but I love Marbula One! Another very good performance by Red Eye I think he would've had it if it wasn't for that ice but im so proud of Smoggy. I love these races keep up the great work guys!!

As a fan of both the Hazers and CCE, this was AMAZING!!!!
This was a very interesting track layout, with only 3 or 4 points that really mattered (Exit of the banked turn, entrance to the ice, the ramp on the back stretch, and maybe the conveyor exit), any one move could easily swing the race.
As someone that watches motorsports this really felt like a street track, with a couple very skill-testing sections broken up by longer more relaxed stretches of track. Also the 90-degree turns.
Despite the heart attack you almost caused me, WE LOVE YOU WISPY!!!

I know 10th place in itself isn't all that amazing but as a Mellow Yellow fan seeing that last minute surge to finish in the top 10 was AWESOME. I was yelling at my screen that whole time like "come on finish strong Finish Strong FINISH STRONG COME ON"

Smoggy just showing everyone that starting from behind isn't the reason for losing by overlapped 6 marbles in just few lap
When Wispy went to P13, I was just like, "oh man, here we go again. Another Midnight Wisps heartbreak." But boy did they fight back and make that podium finish! Well done, guys!

Wispy is a strong racer, though i too got worried as he dropped sub 10th.
Although a quieter performance, a great run for the Wisps! Holding off the Orangers and the Thunderbolts is definitely no easy task.

Clementine went through quite the rollercoaster. Dropping back to the field to being on the podium various times throughout the race.
This was the 2nd best race I’ve ever seen. The best race was the Hazers when they went from 16th to 1st at their home race in the Misty Mountains 🏔 🌫 💨 Smoggy is the GOAT 🐐

This will go down as perhaps the closest duel for a victory in M1 racing. The fact that Smoggy turned on the heat to cap it all off and DOMINATE the last several laps is simply mind-blowing. Always proud of our racers. #HazeAmaze

Just goes to prove what a talented racer Clementin is. I hope after having all that terrible luck with mechanical reliability and such, but still managing to carry the team last season, that this season's results properly reflect the incredible ability that we all know exists! Go Clementin!

That was incredible for Smoggy! 10.17-second win over Red Eye who won by 8.18 at season 2 Savage Speedway.
The ice screwed over Speedy. Should've podiumed. But his lowest finish was 9th beside the Minty Mania incident. Glad to see that streak still going!

Never before in M1 history have we seen 10+ seconds separating 1st and 2nd.
@@eliezersmarbleraces3137 it's crazy considering that 6 marbles got lapped. This is the second race in history that at least one racer got lapped by the time the race finished.
(Razzy doesn't count as she finished her penultimate lap before Red eye finished the race)
@@legendarywiimaster I was talking about at any point in an M1 race that a marble has been lapped, and so Razzy technically counts to the list of lapped marbles in an M1 GP because she was lapped by Speedy on Lap 12 of Raceforest last season.

Red Eye performed brilliantly on so much of the track, but struggled more times with that ice sector than Smoggy did. Smoggy was something else though, and I'm sure the best from both Red and Yellow Eye is yet to come!
Okay, so this might be my favorite single race from Marbula One ever and I really hope this track comes back in the future.

The distance from 1st place Smoggy to 2nd place of Red Eye was about as much as from redeye to the speedy at ninth place

What a race! Going into it I was thinking that my Hazers weren't so amazing this season, but then I was on the edge of my seat the whole race. And to win with such finality by lapping 6 others racers! Way to go Smoggy; that's how you Haze 'em!!!
I love how the ice made it so unpredictable. You're never out of the race, but no lead is safe as well.

That 2-marble battle completely changed after Smoggy got to a 10.18 second margin over Red Eye in just the final 3 laps.
Congrats to Smoggy for that amazing victory and lead distance. Also, I'm glad Minty Fresh got 5th at the very least. A big improvement from that hit during the qualifiers.

As a Hazers fan, I come back to this race, so often. This was one of the best race in the history of our team. I would also like to argue that we need more icy tracks in the marbula 1 calendar. We are the best teams on the ice tracks so that would be a good thing for us Hazers supporters. #HazeAmaze

This course is crazy, there were two marbles who tied for most position drops in 1 lap (9), and Mellow Yellow was in dead last for the first 6 laps, and ended up in the top half of the standings. Anybody’s race, anybody’s day. #gooooorangers

Wispy went from 3rd, to 13th, then back to 3rd. What a ride. I also couldn't ignore that crazy battle between Smoggy and Red Eye. What a race!
Considering where Mellow Yellow was for most of this race (and the last one, oof), I'll take it. Really loved that graph at the end! What a great way to show the race.

Another note: the subtlety of the team chants in the background is an incredible detail, shows how phenomenal the quality of production is on your videos
When you really get down to it, the amount of effort necessary to monitor lap times for 20 marbles (which can't contain timing chips or the like) over a dozen or so laps in an INSANE amount of work for something as whimsical as racing marbles, and I'm absolutely floored that you all put it in.
This is some of the best sports material on YT. Period.

Thunder was doing really, really well for over 3/4 of the race, then lost some positions in the last couple of laps. It was also impossible to tell what was going on in the last couple, I have no idea how Greg did it. That’s gonna take a couple of rewatches.
Still, not a bad race for Thunder. A solid top half finish. They’ll have more chances to get it right.
considering they were on the pole, I'm a little disappointed they didn't finish top 5 let alone on the podium. at least there's 3 points from taking pole though

Red Eye did a great job but she was clearly struggling with that ice chute, it's not surprising considering that she came from the sandy lands of Felynia and she's not used to racing on icy tracks.

Props to Smoggy for that commanding performance! I was so proud of Clementin's improvement. They struggled on the ice a lot, but made up some great ground on the big turns. GOOOOOOO'RANGERS!!!!
Watching smog take over every marble, something is up. Performance enhancers. The differential of the speed compared to the other marbles is undeniable. This season will show it.
You'd have to call into question the CCEs in that regard as well, as both were dueling it out for almost the entire race. So 🤷🏻♂🤷🏻♂

@@JellesMarbleRuns My bad. Didn't know you already had a store. as for suggestions, what if you had bios and stat /trading cards for the player marbles, teams, and coach marbles. It would be a fun way to build up the lore and personality of the marble world. I'm a writer myself, so along with cheering for the Thunderbolts, I always try to come up with my own head cannons for how the team was formed, what the coach is like, and what all the players are like. If you had official material for this kind of thing it would be awesome. This could be another thing you already did that I just don't know about cause I'm still rather new to the channel, but if it isn't, it's something to consider.
