Fantastic video mate, great to see 62 back in the orange & gray
4:48 great shot!
Wonderful video
Interesting
While that happened, I was on the glenhuntly shittle
love it. The A Class could just about be my favourite v/line loco ever. Love the shape and the colour scheme
Oldies but goldies!
A62 is back. She's wearing her original V/Line Orange and gray again like A66. The V/Line orange and gray A class twins make a run together. Thats neat
As the N Class approaches retirement, I would love to see one or two of them restored to the Orange and Grey livery, along with a H Set or N Set..!!
That will happen eventually
sooner or later it will happen, and who knows. We might even see some V/line orange & gray S & Z cars again
@@G516R700, fingers crossed
Nice video, but where did the N-Class go between North Melbourne & South Kensington? Was it different days, or did they unhook the N-Class somewhere in between?
That's my exact thought.
Here's my hypothesis.
Did 707 need the N for the Refional network clearance ❌️
Traction assistance for Big Hill. ✔️but ❌️
Most plausible thesis: the 3 engines spread the load, extending fuel range. ✔️
The transfer from Southern Cross to Newport didn't require that much load.
The clip at South Kensington is after the train disembarked the passengers at Southern Cross, the N was detached there, and the train returned to Newport with just the two A classes. The N went on the trip as A62 is still fresh out of reactivation, and is undergoing testing.
