Is the Valkyria Chronicles 4 DLC Worth Buying?

Overall the DLC has been pretty disappointing and in my opinion the DLC for the first game came out a lot better. They really went for quantity over quality here.

I actually liked that the squad missions without the main characters showed us WHY they got along with each other or disliked others.
The first Valkryia chronicles had that detail where certain members were more efficient or liked other members. But there's not really a lot of anything else in the game that showcases that asides from the personnel entries.
Valkryia chronicles 4 actually gave us missions that showed us and let us play as the characters with their respective squad members. I liked that at least.
Got complete edition when it was half-off. So really only here to hear alternate opinions on the DLCs I guess.

So they are all pretty meh, as suspected. Might get the Squad 7 one out of nostalgia, but different voice actors kinda put me off. Thank you for taking your time and doing the review.

Got the complete edition on the PS4 just now for 19 quid. I think it's a pretty good price for all of these.

Got the complete edition on switch for £15 as it was on sale which made it the same price as the first game so definitely worth it. I think Selvaria level being easy is an apology for how difficult behind her blue flame was for how broken she is lol (hated playing that dlc). The squad 7 dlc is fan service but it was fan service that made me smile. Edy’s dlc I feel is for beginners and it gives you a good gun for early game and Edy was mu favourite shock trooper from the first game. Say what you want about the dlc but everyone needs the dlc where you play best waifu as Selvaria is best waifu and now she gets the respect she deserves! (Still haven’t forgiven Maximillion for telling her to blow herself up!). Swimsuits, SWIMSUITS do I need to say more! Just get the swimsuits so you can have Kai in a swimsuit lol.
Complete edition is out for 49.99 usd that's basically a steal.

Hey, good video. The DLC pass is $10, so I got everything. Wouldn't pay $25 for it, but $10 is fair.
These are some of the most underwhelming and half assed DLC I've ever seen, but $10 isn't a bad price.

I can't find any english version of this DLC's on the PS Store, all God Damn Chinese version, but my main game is R3 english version, how will it work if I ever try to purchased this chinese version? by the way I'm using Hong Kong account. If you're thinking that I'm seeing only Chinese version is because my account is HK, well wrong, I tried to search other games and 95% of all games had english version.
I think Edy and Squad 7 are free on Steam if you buy another DLC.
yes, that"s correct ,but that's only for Steam You still have to pay for each one on consoles, 10$ total. I dont think they worth it.. Free is a good price tbh haha

The Expert Skirmishes were the best DLC of the bunch, by far. If you pick any up, pick those up, but only if you think you want some more content after finishing all the base game skirmishes.
good thing i got the game and dlc bunldle for 15 dls on switch, im only at chapter 7, and with 13 hrs of gamplay, lol, im enjoying the game so much, but it seems way easier that the first one.

The DLC is decent. I liked the one where you don't use any of the MCs, and the challenging skirmishes. It's nothing major. I think some missions playing the Imperials more would have been fun

I've never played Valkyria Chronicles 4 and probably won't because of all the bad language in it. The story and characters look alright. But all that bad language turned me off. The first Valkyria Chronicles was much better in that area and thats why I like the first game better.

DLCs are normally just ways for companies to sell you an unfinished game and then milk you more for the rest of it.

Agreed! Greedy bastards! They should be free as a thank you for buying their overpriced games. No video game should cost over $30. They only charge $60 and up because the suckers will pay it.
