I wonder, does Valkyria 4 do a better job of level design? I played this in parallel with you a bit but hit that same wall of one way through…might give Val 4 a try and see if the design changes. LOVE the art and world design. Glad you came back to this. 🍻

Game had potential but it become way to linear, as in you HAD to do specific things in battles otherwise you would just lose. Its a problem that gets worse in later levels.
