The F4U-4B is one of the best vehicles tier for tier in the game.
It's extremely fast, doesn't compress much and has disgusting guns.

Just a note: The 2-3km no wep on climb trick for work you have to be in stage 1 until 3km. When you hit 3km you can already change to 2nd stage and use wep.
The 1 stage for 100% changes at 3600m so in auto works the same
Also WEP doesn't do anything above around 6k.
Edit: I mean when climbing, WEP adds only around 30-60hp above 6k, the difference decreasing with altitude.
Also when flying fast at 6k, the difference will be bigger, cause of ram effect increasing power above cl.
Yes, the ram effect is also applicable to wep at 2--3km

Those guns are insane, one of the few planes that can make 1.5km kills, just spray with a lead, surprisingly doesn't require a tremendous amount of gunnery skill.
I find the AU-1 to be more fun than the 4B is, due to the fact that it has a dirt-cheap repair cost and is very easy to underestimate due to being an "attacker".
And you get an airspawn with basically the same plane

Aircraft beauty is entirely subject to opinion, I find most fighters absolutely gorgeous in their own ways, can't say I hate the 109(most people do) and can't say I love the Spitfire(most people do). I have a hard time accepting twin engines as good looking though, but there are some nice ones out there. Personal favourite would be the J7W1 Shinden, probably. Was astounded by it since it was the first push-prop config I heard about.

I love the j7w as well and when i got it in wt i was hyped as hell. My favourite looking plane is probably the Tempest with the Centaurus engine

I'd love to see more of your F4U-4B games. I'm aware that making these videos is a lot of work, commentating etc, so have you considered making a second channel where you could just upload raw footage? I'm sure there are lots of people like me that would love to see more examples of how you play a certain plane, even if we don't get your excellent commentary. Might save you some work?

I think using 1 plane for serval vids would be a great idea and gives maybe a more in depth view of the plane and how it handles different scenarios. I would enjoy it, and i think it would offer a learning benefit. Thx for the great work :)

I don’t mind seeing the same planes. I’m a mustang nut, so I’m looking forward to watching the P-51H carry games whenever they get uploaded
personally there's something about the Mustangs that I just don't like. Maybe it's the fact that EVERYONE praises it, I don't know why the Spitfire is then my 2nd favourite WW2 plane, since everyone also praises that plane. Maybe the Mustang is too cliche for me.
My #1 is the F6F-5 Hellcat btw. Third is probably the F4U-4B Corsair. Doesn't matter if the F6F-5 is slower than other contemporary American fighters, it hard carried the Pacific air war for a long time.

Showing the same plane more than once is good for two reasons - 1. if its different variants . 2. The more different scenarios to learn from the better. 3.Potentially both 1 and 2 at same time.

I just got the first corsair, can you tell me some tips on how to use it? In the 5 games I've played with it I haven't gotten a single kill when I usually average 1-3 kills a game

I always have trouble with the 20mm corsairs because they tend to rock the plane when they fire
Perhaps you can do a "footage dump" per say and name it something with a general theme. American planes for 1 vid etc. I'd be fine with that to watch, commentary or not.

One problem that I see content creators have this plane is not using flaps they do Deploy extremely quickly but can survive for around 10 seconds going up Max speed and increase turning to an unbelievable level
I get an average of 2-3 kills a game with this thing and my top came with it had 6

I believe I have the premium version of this plane and I feel like I have to lead way more with it than you do in this video, and rudder is next to useless at anything over 350kph. I remember this plane being very good too but recently I can't do well in it...

im struggling to find a way to fly it the right way and i want to use the plane at my favorite br at its peak but i cant because im not that great of a player.

When you realise it can do a max of 90% throttle indefinitely, then its on-paper performance just shrivels away.
The only reason I use the beercan over this, is the damn repair cost, 24k is alot and the beercan is only 14k

If you fly the 51h for two games you usually get enough SL for a single 4b crash
My strategy when I see DEFYN in the opposite team: Type "GG" in chat and then press and hold the J key for 3 seconds.
Think about if someone is bored only watch first match, if someone want more keep watching...

Yesterday I found out that if you play a match at 5.0-6.0 in the middle of the night in the middle of the week, you will get absolutely smacked. Apparently that's when all the best pilots are playing. When you fly in the weekend it's very easy to carry your team most of the time. Will switch to a server in a different timezone tonight...🤣

Even when you do the "right" thing you will get killed if the skillgap is too big.
Ngl if your enemy is going straight in 1.4km spray your gun and most of the time you will in the fight for sure

@@DEFYN Only time I ever need more than a few dozen rounds to kill a plane is the Ju 288. I'm not gonna risk getting close, and they're often too fast to get in front of, so I just engine snipe them and assume the fires will do their job, but nope, that FPE always forces me to make another pass.
