Im amazed how are you able to dodge bullets when the enemy is 0.7 km. Im trrying to remember your principals and yet for me it works only like 10% of the time.

The information in this video is going to become outdated rather quickly. Most of the time, one should be using aircraft performance and altitude to defeat missiles. This will become especially true with next patches influx of active radar homing missiles. When Gaijin properly models how countermeasures and IRCCM and ECM works it is going to be much more complicated than it is now. In reality, defeating missiles is more of a question of probability. If you are facing a pilot who consistently knows how to increase their probability of a hit with a missile then you stand little to no chance of defeating said missile and thus the countermeasure and erratic maneuvering is relegated to a last ditch defense. Likewise, if you are firing a missile at a player who is running a script that automatically pops a flare exactly every time anyone fires a IR missile at him, the probability if you hitting him is basically zero.

ty for reviewing my replay defyn, yeah my awareness was pretty bad, and you were spot on, i was more focused on trying to turn the 2 fighters versus 5 fighters game into something more even. looking back on it, after critting the F2G i probably should have pulled off, but yee, the flaps with the spitfire comment was mostly just me believing that with the flaps its probably still unwinnable but without them its absolutely never winnable. <3

Fight one, I get why the K4 chased the F2G to the deck. You're the only fighter left, may as well get a 2nd kill and cash out, rather than let him go and lose 4v1 after 10 minutes of desperate defense or w/e. I think the real problem is horrible aim. If he had killed the F2G on that first pass at altitude, like he should've, he would have been fine.

I know you posted this four months ago, but I need some advice. I just played a game where I went up against an I-225. I've had trouble fighting them in the past due to their high performance, especially at my favorite altitude: 6km. I wasn't able to fully maneuever after the merge (he was above me flying a little faster) as I got distracted by a phone call (though as you can infer from before I was already in a losing position at that point. I wanted to ask if you think the D-13 can even be remotely competitive against an I-225, assuming they engage each other without engaging anyone else - which gives the I-225 the advantage due to its better climb rate. I tried using flaps, but that only helped me for about 20 seconds.
