Actually I think props require a lot more skill than top tier, it’s just that you usually find inexperienced players at lower tiers.

16:52 DEFYN clearly ejected from the plane, blew up the Ki-44 II with a bazooka battlefield style, jumped back on the P-40 as he was gliding, RTBed and defeated the entire Luftwaffe on his own, as you could see he aligned his plane perfectly so that his plane doesn't crash while it's flying without a pilot.
I remember way back in 2016 or 2017 being super happy when they added this lol
I remember spading this on Norway. Better times
The Soviet P-40 used to be my favorite plane in 2013. You would face so many spitfires and all you needed to do was go into a steep dive and then pull straight vertical. If they followed they would rip their wings.
i remember when spitfires used to rip their wings so often, playing the Mk24 was absolute hell. But they no longer snap and had their Hispano Mk2 fixed and they're borderline unstoppable.

@@Likeaworm i usually play these kind of aircraft completely braindead but when I want to play properly I do quite well. Last time I played the LF Mk9 I decided to go berserk and got 6 kills solo (this is by not third partying)
Ironically it is the worst P-40E as well, it has less boost than others.

P-40F, the P-40 that historically pushed the series beyond 'shitty Allied early prop for meatgrinding' to 'slightly less shitty Allied early prop for meatgrinding'.
May not be the best but punching above weight in this thing gets me quite excited as a child listening to old war stories.
why are you so negative about P-40s? they clapped japanese just fine when used correctly.

Doing 'just fine' was about what I perceived as 'meatgrinding fighters' one would throw en masse into Med/Burma/China without a care, while top guns would be reserved in, say, W. Europe. I wasn't very negative about P-40, if at all. I wasn''t even negative about the Hurricanes. If my trying to be sound funny with the use of the word 'shitty' was the part that did not land, then my bad. English is not the first language and you never get these things completely right.

The reason I am still playing the P40E version is because the skins of the E are way better than the F . Why not Gaijin just copy those skins to F version 😢

The P-40F is one of my favorite planes aesthetically. It's beautiful and decently fun to fly even if its performance is a bit mid.

Honestly, fuck that way of thinking, it has completely ruined ARB at this point (at least for me). I'd rather lose in an engaging way than try and win in what seems like the "meta" way of playing nowadays.
Almost nobody even takes fights anymore, at any tier. Most of the time I play I put myself in disadvantaged positions just to get the enemy to actually engage, but they still don't. Even when I've gone so far as to make it unwinnable for me they still just fly around trying to bore me to death instead of shooting me down. I think I could even fly an I-16 at this point and somebody in a 109K-4 would avoid me like the plague.
Seeing enemy fighters on the perch no longer gives me that bit of fear and adrenaline in anticipation of an intense fight, because there is no longer any fight, they will just hold a 2-3km altitude advantage, refuse to dive, and just fucking fly around overhead. If you actually manage to start catching them, they will just go fly to their airfield for AAA protection.
I just fly CAP in ground battles nowadays. Good fights are just as rare as ARB, but you're killing CAS in your downtime instead of watching a red dot on your screen next to a number that keeps getting bigger.
Honestly this. I almost never do regular arb. If I play WT, it's to do cap in tank RB(mostly because I almost always get urban/small maps which I HATE) or I do sim. Otherwise, I'll boot up IL2GB in the event I'm not feeling a very niche aircraft for the day

@@TiredOldBo flight performance literally fixes any problems this gun would give you. and its performance is closer to a little worse 20mm rather than a supped up 50 cal

Always nice to see a plane thats not to good at anything have to fight planes that out match them at everything and that's where its a challenge and makes it actually some type of idk fun but WT and Fun not 2 words that should be in the same sentence.

Just skip it then. Playing a phantom at 12.7 just because it has aim 120s isnt worth it imo.
I have more time in the P-40F-10 than any other plane. At that BR the USA's default 6x50cal counts as heavy firepower.
still a single ShVAK absolutely destroys anything it touches. I remember when ShVAK was really bad and most Russian props were a pain to play, now they're mostly undertiered

I've always found the P40's to be some of the best planes for me. Next to the first C.202, Ta152H, Re2005, and the Tigercat. Though, the P40F is probably my least liked. I don't really know why. Like I can still do well with it, but the E and C treat me a lot better. But P40 content is P40 content

Defyn, play Su-17(22)M4 as a fighter later, it is surprisingly fun with 6 R-60Ms and sweep wings, basically sidegrade of MiG-23M (but with adequate amount of countermeasures)

I love the P-40s (all of them), I just hate playing them because the BR is so low it feels like I'm seal clubbing.
defyn what do u think of shutting the engine off for a few seconds sometimes so you reset the high temperatures, thats what I do in the g2 sometimes when im not in a fight

*PS* Most of the times choose the one with the most explosive/incendiary bullets (especially for cannons). When it's unclear which one is really better, I often test which one does the most damage using protection analysis and try shooting at [frendly))] planes in the test flight.
