@The Sea Meteor Wants To Know Your Location it’s funny that you mention landing gear… I don’t think Gaijin has modeled it, but the real Corsair had an air brake that was basically just the landing gear half deployed. The part of the gear cover that was flush with the wing came down to about a 45 degree angle, functioning as an air brake.

@@michaelw6277 the part that wasn't deployed was the tail wheel/hook on later models after 1a I believe. When Vought started putting an "Air Brake" setting on the landing gear shift in the cockpit.

I was legit staying near my airfield for a good 2 minutes and they never fucking started smoking. meanwhile I get shit like 8:21 happening to me all the time, then also when im not even over an enemy airfield, just in a good dogfight like 2-5km away ill get fucking raped by the AAA or Rolands. like shoving a hot catheter up my rectum! thats what gaijin does!!!

Half of the F2G pilots bring ordinance, a quarter don't have their monitor plugged in, a fifth of them chase Ju-288's at the start of the match, and the last 5% is me.

Premium corsairs are insaneeeeee for sl grinding. The Au 1 and Jpns f4u have racked me up so many lions !!
AU-1 is fun if you don't get immediately slapped out of the sky by a BF-109 or FW that dives from 3km on your ass.
SL mod on it is pretty shit but you can kill a lotta ground units, and once you're out of bombs it handles pretty decently at low altitude and is fast as hell.
@@24YOA i average about 4k points a game. dropping bombs and rockets are very easy in the thing, and the air spawn means i can drop my load before the enemy can shoot me :) getting 9k points is very feasible if you are patient enough :)
@@24YOA AU-1 as a support fighter can rack up quite a few planes. I stay at low altitude, maybe 2000-3000 m up, and build speed. How the rest of the game goes depends on how the enemy planes present themselves.
Hard agree, i think the premium f4u4b has made me more money then anything else, swoop in at 500mph, point blank hit them with those 20mms and anything is toast
AU-1 is my favorite for CAS. Can be played dump and run like an Arado or precision drop 5+ kills with air superiority. Tip use same MEC settings for both...90 prop and 50-60% radiators and the AU-1 can get around much better.

@@helmy210 it's a pain for both teams, Ju-288's have the strongest damage model of any bomber and 4/6 of the enemies are ju 288's. Shit for german fighters and shit for American fighters, shit for bombers since playing bombers isn't fun.
I got this plane via the battlepass and it was the first plane I used after being a ground only player for 70 levels. Took it out into Ground RB and by now I even have a positive KD with it:D

Yeah, I feel you. I once sat some A6M (I think it was a A6M5) TWICE on fire, and it only died later by crashing (it put out the fire TWICE IN A ROW!) even the A6M player was shocked by that...
You can do it if you are low on fuel and one tank burns fast the fuel inside: once time I was in a KI43III and a Yak3 started a fire in my plane but just for 3 secs because I was running out of fuel and that burned out the remain liquid and I killed him at the last moment xD

If you don't mind a little extra money and only researching up to Tier 4, the XP-50 is also amazing. Airspawn, good maneuverability and speed, with incredibly versatile weapons. It clubs basically anything at it's low br of 3.7, and it's my main SL grinder after the F2G

@@garrykambimbi Sea Wixen: 795% SL modifier, 4610 SL repair. Faces a lot of 7.7-8.3 planes that`s have a hard time avoiding red tops. Great climb and speed so can outrun most planes.
Harrier GR1: 705% SL modifier, 14k SL repair. Been powercrept and have a hard time facing anything with flares and it`s sluggish as hell at it`s BR. Relies at it`s airspawn and close combat missiles.
So i would say the Sea Vixen is a bloody great SL printer, have a 3 to 1 KD in it even without guns so made me a shitton of SL

Yes, they changed sustained turntime (lowered), increased acceleration a bit, fixed flaps (now you cant deploy them at high speeds), and fixed compression

It already has 3000HP, but this power should be 100%( Military Power) instead of War Emergency Power (WEP). WEP should be about 3400hp (just like AM-1).

Problem wth the plane currently is the battle rating it’s at. The br is perfectly fine but at the same br there’s the ju288s and the do335s. You just can’t escape them rn.

I feel like a dipshit asking this but how do you keep the camera on your target like you do in a dogfight? It seems way too smooth and easy for you for the default free look in the game without some crazy finger gymnastics.
If that is all it is though then I guess I need to work on my manual dexterity a good bit more.
He's using free look with mouse you can see by how the pointer moves. You may have to adjust settings... Turn off windows mouse acceleration and adjust mouse dpi and WT sensitivity to get smooth.

I prefer the f2g for 1v1 over air rb, because of my retarded mindset I instinctively try diving down if I get energy trapped but I can't really recover from the dive if I do it too hard. However it's a fun plane I still want to learn. Edit: Forget about it, I just suck in air RB lmao

@@_lliu3oqppehu9l_83 yeah lol, I can include myself on that "mediocre community", I'm very bad at air realistic scenarios, if I get kills is when people decide to 1v1 me or I aim properly in a boom and zoom attack. I'm most times completely unaware of how to control two or more players so I either die dogpiled or manage to pull someone out of the furball, kill him and then die later either out of energy or literally diving so hard I compress enough to be unable to pull up and crash. Talking about duels I'm not good either but I find them more enjoyable, and I like using a slightly worse plane. All in all, l2p is the solution, and the way to it is practice more and more. The game is tiring and I feel like I get worse every day lmao. Sorry for such a long text
