Saying you have changed and actually putting in the years of counselling and hard work on yourself are two different things. Unless he takes full accountability for his actions then he will never change. But we believe these promises, only to find they are false ones and the cycle of violence returns. Try to stay strong. This is a good video about how to truly break free. The past is moving further behind me, and she is almost out of my life. Have to wait for the courts to finally let me fly free. Every time I start to feel better after not talking to her for a spell, she contacts me. Then I just feel “crapy” all over again. “No Contact” is definitely necessary. For some reason my Covert Narcissist knows when to contact me. Just when I start feeling better and ok. Then she reaches out and returns to her typical pattern of walking all over my selfesteem by telling me how bad of a person I am, how everyone sees how bad I am, how uncaring I am and so on. (Amazing how she returns to the same pattern of behavior over and over.) I have been away from her for 6 months now, and still she can make me feel like dirt all the time. I let her do this too me for years; I know. I do stand up for myself now, which she does not like at all. Just can’t wait to get the papers from the courts. I got to get free from her and her spider’s tapestry that I was caught in for years. It feels good not having to explain my “every” action all the time. It feels good not having to undergo the silent treatments and the gas lighting experience on a routine basis; drove me crazy. No more rages after ticking off Mrs. Hyde. Its been over 26 years or more where I dreaded my birthdays; she made them into nightmares (holidays were the same). I had no fun whatsoever. Drama queen free, makes all the difference. My first birthday alone was just “pleasant.”
Their so sick! I lived with my ex for 15 yrs of torture. Just waiting and believing that he would change. Of course he never did. It was pure hell. He just didn't know how to love. Showed no compassion and his only way of Affection was through sex, of which he identified as love. He had no clue, and only imitated that which he saw on TV. He was addicted to porno and weed in addition. He made me feel like crap!

I'm curious as to what "the friend card" means. With me, I know that every couple of months, my s/o starts to pull back. Then he discards me. I've gotten so used to the cycle, that I now recognize the pull back and realize that another discard is coming. At the time of discard, he somehow convinces me that we are better off as "just friends." Telling me that from here on out, he will be my very best friend. Friends only. I'm so desperately in love with him, I agree to that stupid little game. Then he eventually starts romancing me again. I'm so exhausted from this rollercoaster ride. I live in one big cloud of brain fog. I don't know what in the world is going on. I hate myself for falling for it. Over and over and over.😢

Both times, I have written a list of the sh*tty things they did. Particulary my last ex was extremely passive aggressive. When he was angry he would do something nasty. You would not know if it was him, or one of the kids, or someone else altogether. At the end, my eldest daughter said, mum, its your plates that are all chipped, none of his are. Either he would break my things, or appropriate them. He broke my lightweight hoover (I'm disabled) and when I challenged him, he said he would buy a new one. I accepted and told him not to use it. He always said it was cr*p anyway. Of course, he had to use it, and then pretend he didn't.

The stupid thing is that two weeks ago he screamed in my voicemail I am the most horrible mean fucking bitch that existed. Even worse than all of his( 13) exes who were so bad. Just for no reason. When I completely blocked him I felt sorry for him the next day and deblocked him again😫I thought I was strong and that he couldn’t reach me in my heart anymore... I was so terrified of him that he would stand in front of me and do something to me. And than when I felt free again because I felt strong that he couldn’t reach me in my heart anymore suddenly a messanger from him that he had remorse of what he said😤and so I was sucked in againbecause he never had said sorry to me. It is so difficult to let them go...!! Often say he is a sick person, let him go. While i think/say it i pity him..then push that feeling away knowing how hurtfull he can be to me!!! Etc. Plus what tortied me is i still long to see and touch him... what can we do with the love feelings for us?? Thats why try unpurpose think the bad things over to push away the longing and sad feelings. If i had no bodder anymore of the emotional tearing then i could go on with my life. Now it holds me back cant enjoy life anymore. I try!! But feel often like a zombie. Nothing has purpose really... push it away that i have enough in my life to live for...why is it so powerful? It is an addiction. Sometimes think to force myself to go on a datingsite...forcing myself to put my focus on somebody else and the good things in live. But in my hart it feels so contradicted. I am so fad up with those feelings that i start feel angry! Angry to myself, angry towards him because he took all the joy in my life away...etc. try keeping myself busy to focus at something else. Slowly i feel it get better...but not quick enough. As soon i think this i long for him...pfff my mind/emotions/hormones plays with me. Mentally i have to get beyond. With God's help. That's what it is: Satan uses confusion to get his way! When i feel stronger again my ex stands for my door ringing the bell! Many times let him in to "talk". If i send him away because is out only for sex or descending talking, i left behind confused!!! What happened? I felt strong, determent and before i know i am in this confusion again! Sometimes i succeed in keeping door shut. Sometimes it looks like i have no brains. Later on angry at myself i was stupid again...etc. i hope one day i am happy again...and choose for being myself. But it seems that the devil knows how to play...we HAVE to overcome this and we will ! Our mind has to be stronger
It is an addiction and very hard to break. My advice would be not to start dating and replacing him with someone else until you have focused on yourself and your healing from this addiction and codependency. I didn't believe I had any. I always thought I was the strong one. All my friends thought so too. When I looked deep within, I was shocked to find a scared little girl. The priest got my strings pulled . I have no hopes of life here. They are the sick ones. I am not clinging on to what I never had. He revenges. I have no difficulty quitting the ex. The fi I don't like. I need a reversal surgery.
Whats love got to do with it? Calling attachment, addiction & identification 'LOVE' is pure ignorance of reality. Love is non personal. There are none of these different forms of love. Its romanticism; sex instinct! which can be nice but is always romanticized. Attachment, addiction, identification is human ignorance in action. Self awareness is a result of self observation without evaluating, just watching, listening to your self talk and facing what your heart mind brain are really up to reveals the facts. Look at yourself and keep looking.

Just had hoovered now. I answered talked for an hour or two.. I'm still on the stage that I cant let go, but I'm so proud because after hours of talking to him, he then started to manipulate me and ask for something that he wanted which I knew that was the supply I'm giving him. What I did was said NO.. after I said NO.. just that very minute he then shifted and ask me that if I say No he will just drop the call and sleep.. I'm almost giving in and say Yes.. but standed on my ground and said" ok then good night".. Same as your video trust your gut feeling. I then learned.. because I have a gut feeling that he is having a second source of supply band still training her. If she coundnt get that supply to to him he will then hoover me again.. I just learned form your videos.. I know this has been a process for me for saying No to him.. I'm just so Proud of my self. This is a good video about how to truly break free. The past is moving further behind me, and she is almost out of my life. Have to wait for the courts to finally let me fly free.
Every time I start to feel better after not talking to her for a spell, she contacts me. Then I just feel “crapy” all over again. “No Contact” is definitely necessary.
For some reason my Covert Narcissist knows when to contact me. Just when I start feeling better and ok. Then she reaches out and returns to her typical pattern of walking all over my selfesteem by telling me how bad of a person I am, how everyone sees how bad I am, how uncaring I am and so on. (Amazing how she returns to the same pattern of behavior over and over.)
I have been away from her for 6 months now, and still she can make me feel like dirt all the time.
I let her do this too me for years; I know. I do stand up for myself now, which she does not like at all. Just can’t wait to get the papers from the courts.
I got to get free from her and her spider’s tapestry that I was caught in for years. It feels good not having to explain my “every” action all the time.
It feels good not having to undergo the silent treatments and the gas lighting experience on a routine basis; drove me crazy. No more rages after ticking off Mrs. Hyde.
Its been over 26 years or more where I dreaded my birthdays; she made them into nightmares (holidays were the same). I had no fun whatsoever. Drama queen free, makes all the difference.
My first birthday alone was just “pleasant.”
Their so sick! I lived with my ex for 15 yrs of torture. Just waiting and believing that he would change. Of course he never did. It was pure hell. He just didn't know how to love. Showed no compassion and his only way of Affection was through sex, of which he identified as love. He had no clue, and only imitated that which he saw on TV. He was addicted to porno and weed in addition. He made me feel like crap!

I'm curious as to what "the friend card" means.
With me, I know that every couple of months, my s/o starts to pull back. Then he discards me. I've gotten so used to the cycle, that I now recognize the pull back and realize that another discard is coming.
At the time of discard, he somehow convinces me that we are better off as "just friends." Telling me that from here on out, he will be my very best friend. Friends only. I'm so desperately in love with him, I agree to that stupid little game. Then he eventually starts romancing me again. I'm so exhausted from this rollercoaster ride. I live in one big cloud of brain fog. I don't know what in the world is going on. I hate myself for falling for it. Over and over and over.😢

Both times, I have written a list of the sh*tty things they did. Particulary my last ex was extremely passive aggressive. When he was angry he would do something nasty. You would not know if it was him, or one of the kids, or someone else altogether. At the end, my eldest daughter said, mum, its your plates that are all chipped, none of his are. Either he would break my things, or appropriate them. He broke my lightweight hoover (I'm disabled) and when I challenged him, he said he would buy a new one. I accepted and told him not to use it. He always said it was cr*p anyway. Of course, he had to use it, and then pretend he didn't.

The stupid thing is that two weeks ago he screamed in my voicemail I am the most horrible mean fucking bitch that existed. Even worse than all of his( 13) exes who were so bad. Just for no reason.
When I completely blocked him I felt sorry for him the next day and deblocked him again😫I thought I was strong and that he couldn’t reach me in my heart anymore... I was so terrified of him that he would stand in front of me and do something to me.
And than when I felt free again because I felt strong that he couldn’t reach me in my heart anymore suddenly a messanger from him that he had remorse of what he said😤and so I was sucked in againbecause he never had said sorry to me.

It is so difficult to let them go...!! Often say he is a sick person, let him go. While i think/say it i pity him..then push that feeling away knowing how hurtfull he can be to me!!! Etc. Plus what tortied me is i still long to see and touch him... what can we do with the love feelings for us?? Thats why try unpurpose think the bad things over to push away the longing and sad feelings. If i had no bodder anymore of the emotional tearing then i could go on with my life. Now it holds me back cant enjoy life anymore. I try!! But feel often like a zombie. Nothing has purpose really... push it away that i have enough in my life to live for...why is it so powerful? It is an addiction. Sometimes think to force myself to go on a datingsite...forcing myself to put my focus on somebody else and the good things in live. But in my hart it feels so contradicted. I am so fad up with those feelings that i start feel angry! Angry to myself, angry towards him because he took all the joy in my life away...etc. try keeping myself busy to focus at something else. Slowly i feel it get better...but not quick enough. As soon i think this i long for him...pfff my mind/emotions/hormones plays with me. Mentally i have to get beyond. With God's help. That's what it is: Satan uses confusion to get his way! When i feel stronger again my ex stands for my door ringing the bell! Many times let him in to "talk". If i send him away because is out only for sex or descending talking, i left behind confused!!! What happened? I felt strong, determent and before i know i am in this confusion again! Sometimes i succeed in keeping door shut. Sometimes it looks like i have no brains. Later on angry at myself i was stupid again...etc. i hope one day i am happy again...and choose for being myself. But it seems that the devil knows how to play...we HAVE to overcome this and we will ! Our mind has to be stronger
It is an addiction and very hard to break. My advice would be not to start dating and replacing him with someone else until you have focused on yourself and your healing from this addiction and codependency. Otherwise, you risk repeating the pattern with the next relationship. @@annekedam6846 I can only speak from my own experience. I realised the hard way that my need to be needed and to rescue others was a means for me to avoid facing myself and my own insecurities. I didn't believe I had any. I always thought I was the strong one. All my friends thought so too. When I looked deep within, I was shocked to find a scared little girl. One that didn't feel good enough. Healing and nurturing her changed my life. Only you will know, if you focus on you first (with help and support) and not use others as a means to avoid doing so. Anneke Dam I Totally get this! Believe me Your Not Alone!! Yes Satan plays with Us using the Narcissist. We Miss the good. We are Still Grieving over the Abuse. Better to keep the Door shut. The priest got my strings pulled . I have no hopes of life here. They are the sick ones. I am not clinging on to what I never had. He revenges. I have no difficulty quitting the ex. The fi I don't like. I need a reversal surgery.

Love is non personal. There are none of these different forms of love.
Its romanticism; sex instinct! which can be nice but is always romanticized.
Attachment, addiction, identification is human ignorance in action.
Self awareness is a result of self observation without evaluating, just watching, listening to your self talk and facing what your heart mind brain are really up to reveals the facts. Look at yourself and keep looking.

Just had hoovered now. I answered talked for an hour or two.. I'm still on the stage that I cant let go, but I'm so proud because after hours of talking to him, he then started to manipulate me and ask for something that he wanted which I knew that was the supply I'm giving him. What I did was said NO.. after I said NO.. just that very minute he then shifted and ask me that if I say No he will just drop the call and sleep.. I'm almost giving in and say Yes.. but standed on my ground and said" ok then good night".. Same as your video trust your gut feeling. I then learned.. because I have a gut feeling that he is having a second source of supply band still training her. If she coundnt get that supply to to him he will then hoover me again.. I just learned form your videos.. I know this has been a process for me for saying No to him.. I'm just so Proud of my self.

Chin Salcedo Al Anon is a Very Good Free Anonymous Support Group. It is for the Friend's and Family with People who have the Disease of Alcoholism. But it teaches you to take Care of You! And to be Guided by a Higher Power. Mine is God. It helps you feel better about you in General. I recommend that or seeing a Good Psychologist for Post Trauma. Pray to God. Read the King James.
