#manchestercity #arsenal #premierleague - Sport
Great pod and very leveled opinions, City is the best team in the world and losing to them is not bottling, 99% of world teams lose to city, but being able to be expecting a result even if it does not happen already shows that Arsenal and Artera especially has done an incredible job through the last couple of years. 3 epl clubs being so close is great for the league and all three clubs have shown incredible football.
City have lost five times across all competitions this season. Two of those losses have been the Arsenal
Arsenal have never gone into a game at the Etihad this strong. They just need to not freeze on the day.
Serious question: I am hearing everyone mention that Rodri hasn't lost a match in a year...are they not counting the community shield as a match since its a stand alone thing?
As a arsenal fan although everyone's saying we have to win if we finish this season with 8 points form both Liverpool and City games its a huge compared to these games in recent seasons where i feared watching games against them.
Agreed. But we’ll still be third favorites for the title if we draw. A win and we’ll probably be bigger favorites than city
Never imagined David Guetta having such passion for football
I’m loving the narrative that it’s between those two. Keep it up ;-)
Stones really didn’t know. He’s said it in an interview before that players do this including him to keep them focused and not think to far ahead. It helps them focus on the current match.
Rodri played in the Community Shield 🛡 and Rambo saved his penalty kick. I wonder why they keep saying he hasn’t lost a game in all competitions. He lost the Community Shield.
It's a warm up game and it was a draw, arsenal won on penalties 😅
@@pauldowney4280if Arsenal won how was it a draw? 😅
@@pauldowney4280 the season technically starts on that day so it's not a preseason tournament but many people don't regard it highly. Still, beating a full strength city team in a final is a big accomplishment even if its the nobody cares cup.
Losing in penalty after a draw is still considered undefeated
@@dalebutler64it is considered a draw. Statistically, if you were betting also,
As a Liverpool fan I’d take an Arsenal win or a draw. City are relentless at this stage of the season.
Understand the city concern based on history, but you'd prefer the form PL team to continue winning?
@@tjt6821 Arsenal lost to Porto that destroyed that form instantly. Man City is stronger and better team than Arsenal overall.
You will find out on Sunday.
@@tjt6821The worst outcome is a city win for most Liverpool fans.
If city win I expect them to win the league. If arsenal win I still expect them to finish 3rd.
I can see Arsenal feeling the pressure in the run in and hopefully dropping points. And if they don’t then fair play to them, they’ll deserve to win it.
@@ifldiscovery8500 How did it destroy their form if they scored 10 goals over the next 2 games?
Love your work The Athletic. Thank you for the video/CZcams pods. Quality and measured as you mostly do
I don't think it will decide the title but it may decide how long it will remain a competitive race
This was very good episode 👍
Muy chingones compa 🎯
What beach are you at?
Yes, along with all the rest of the matches left this season
Class gentlemen these are
McGoldrick did play in the Prem for both….
Stuart Taylor and Richard wright also played for arsenal and man city
let's go gunners !!
Asernal has not been favourites so how then can they bottle what is not expected?
Ryan Sessegnon hasn’t lost a game in 12 months btw. Elite
Best Afc team for a good 20yrs....we are more than capable of winning this game...not wishful, hopeful thinking like last year or previous title attempts, this time I feel we are the real deal, we just need to turn up and play our game without fear...up the arse!!!
As an Arsenal fan, theres no better opportunity to prove we're worthy of winning the title
For me, an Arsenal win keeps us in with a chance to win the league. There's way too much football to be played with many twsits and turns to come.
Lol how quickly Pep would be dropping Stones if the chat with Rice were true. With how meticulously his players must prepare its silly. Great anecdote though
Still in the game 😢. We deserved to win it. Definitely wasn't some plucky rearguard effort
Stones was lyinor is dementing lol. Hope we can sing you know who your playing now to the prat 😂
City needs to put this convo back to rest
Bones are saying 1-1 or 0-1.
i just hope refereeing is up to standard at the Etihad to give us a good game!! COYG!
Unless city’s purposely saving their energy the Arsenal game, they are not going to all of a sudden get going.
2-1 to the Arsenal.
Ok, so I made the googles AI run a simulation of 10 000 title races from now, and here are the surprising results. Enjoy:
Simulated Season Results:
I ran a simulation of the remaining Premier League season 10,000 times, factoring in various elements like team statistics, player performance data, historical trends, and fixture difficulty. Here's the breakdown:
Arsenal Wins: 3,827 times (38.3%)
Manchester City Wins: 3,214 times (32.1%)
Liverpool Wins: 2,459 times (24.6%)
Other Team Wins: 490 times (4.9%) - This accounts for the unlikely scenario of a team outside the current top 3 winning the league.
0-1 Arsenal.......Ben White goal!
3:55 On a bit of tear. Really ? Ok prove it. Beat City at City because the win vs Liverpool wasn't at Anfield.
1-1 draw
United are not 11 points behind Villa. They're 9 points behind with a game in hand (which is Sheff Utd at home)
City 2- 3 Ars
Arsenal 2-0 winners
Southgate is perfect for the Liverpool job
Yeah, like John Stones didn't know who who he was playing this weekend.
Stones really didn’t know. He’s said it in an interview before that players do this including him to keep them focused and not think to far ahead. It helps them focus on the current match.
surely their family and friends told them constantly no?
3-1 to the Gunners. 😂
Everyone wants city to get beat, arsenal always give it the big one and then fall short, Liverpool and their world class manager should just be happy with the league Cup and a top 4
Arsenal already beat Liverpool and City in the League pal
Let's see what happens, city have got a mental home record, if arsenal come away with a win then that will be very special. I just can't see it.
The thumbnail is like a Homosapien vs a Neanderthal
Haaland surely at least 25% neanderthal
Wtf
Bad way think big think better
Losing stones is a big blow, thanks Southgate you muppet. Pep is the best manager at this stage, the fact that we are fighting for 4 in a row after losing so many players in the summer shows how special he is.
As Arsenal fans, we will HARVest our RICE and dry it using a dRAYA. We will then use TIMBER to cook the rice. We will call angel GABRIEL to guide our Lord JESUS while praying for us. The rice will be served in WHITE plates and the PARTEY will begin with tight security from ØDE-GUARD..👊💪💪🎉🎉
If man city lose they are out of the title race bro. They will be 4 behind arsenal. And of liverpool beat brighton which they are fav to do so even though its their bogey team then they will be 4 behind liverpool too. So yes if cuty lose to arsenal they are out of the title race
