The dreams, aspirations, hopes, ambitions, heartbreaks and moments of the Indian middle class. No one can exemplify them better than TVF. Hence, they survived while AIB faded away.

Spare them from the comparisons and judgements because they are a gem❤️

@@titlichakraborty6704 It's been long since they disbanded. They had become quite arrogant if truth be told. Besides, their style of comedy was far too derivative from the West. TVF always makes content that's relatable across various strata of society. AIB's reach was limited only to the sophisticated SoBo audience. There's a reason why TVF has endured. Their work has this certain relatable and nostalgic essence and is quite evocative of the socio-cultural milieu and ethos of India.

I watched the first season back in 2020 and was completely blown away how similar this story is with our family and I insisted, no begged my family to watch it, including my father who like any other middle class father has no interest whatsoever to watch anything except news but the pandemic and my consistent pressure has made him along with my family to watch the season 1 and he instantly fell in love with the show so when he heard that 2nd season was coming he was super excited which was suprising.... My mother related very much with the character of shanti and bickered along with shanti that no one except her can handle the kitchen or my dad don't make tea when she's upset.... All in all we are in love with this show and are hoping to get another season ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • @thestuffnostalgiaismadeof6300

DD vibes of 80s and 90s all over this series. Panchayat was another one where that overwhelming nostalgia hit me. It's simple to be edgy but very difficult to be simple and make an impact.

Even in 1st episode of season 1 I started crying.. I'm preparing for banking and ssc exams for for almost 2 years. I'm from a middle class family father employed in a bank, has one sister.. We're currently building a house but with very much difficulty even the work has been stopped halfway through for shortage of money. This show hit so hard that I'm even scared to even show it to my mom. From the humiliation of not being able to clear an entrance exam, daily argument over food with, annoying neighbours discussing family budget with with family etc .. God I can't explain how relatable this show is.. I hope I will be able to do something for my family
