Hindi cinema is sleeping on Jeetendra Kumar, ek Shubh Mangal se kuch nahi hona and don’t talk to me about “Chaman Bahar” kyunki galati sabse hoti hai. Give Jeetendra the roles, let him lose, unleash him onto us, we are ready! Last week’s release Jayeshbhai Jordaar needed the light-handed ness of Panchayat for its message to translate better and should have made a stronger attempt to not wind itself so tightly around Ranveer Singh. Every character here in Panchayat, every notice board in the village, every turn of every corner, every exposed drain, is an unapologetically real and alive part of our country, all coming together to contribute to the larger conversation the show is having, about the many India’s within one India.
Watch Panchayat Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video. And subscribe to my channel, aaj we’re also talking about another sequel, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2!

Loved the writing, direction, acting of all involved. If Deepak Mishra had kept a role for himself too, it would have added so much man!! This guy is a gem. Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Singh Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Neena Gupta, Sannvika and many more.. Like I said all are so amazing. Panchayat should come out with a new season every 2 months. You just can't have enough of this world. Works like magic on you. And yes, the background score esp the one that plays during the intro is so refreshing and soothing. Loved it in its entirety.

  • @suchitasharma9534
    @suchitasharma9534 Před 2 lety +31

Though it was slow-paced, I loved Season 2 of Panchayat. It stayed true to its characters and maintained its essence. I didn't want it to end. It's such a refreshing watch and the actors are phenomenal. Of course JK, RY, NG were incredible (as usual), but the new supporting characters were perfect too. This show and Gullak are the gems of OTT.
I would not even mention Jayeshbhai in the same context. It was totally flawed. It's better JK does meaningful and sensible roles like this instead of getting into the mainstream and doing roles like Jayeshbhai Jordaar (MAJOR disappointment). JJ went irretrievably downhill after the interval.

Such a well written series, I liked it better than S1 which is so hard for some sequels to match up to, the best part of the writing was that the love story never overwhelms the plot and is left subtle. The small small characters are so well casted, everyone has done such a phenomenal job portraying those roles on screen even if it is for 5 mins ..That last episode made me cry buckets 😭

And also the scenes of Abhishek going back to his room and opening his books everytime he felt scared of the possibility of not getting out of his current job.
This show could be completely unrelateable to the city folks but it's so real to the villagers and small town people, having spent all my life studying and training in big cities and now being stuck at my hometown ,it felt so personal ,I could feel everything Abhishek was going through

Yeah, but then you will have to appreciate the way last episode is portrayed, it's so genuine that the grief becomes personal & you forget about this, coming like an anti-climax.. Also, it felt to me that makers were very keen on making second season a bundle of all "Nav rasas", this Karuna ras was pretty obvious at some point of time after a handful of Hasya, Raudra, Veer, Shringar rasa etc. I am just too glad that they handled it honestly & marvelously..

Ur review also tells us the difference between the watchers eye ,the things u noticed are the one's that impact a person who hasn't lived in these situations. the things like living with constant fear of being accused of corruption or favouritism ,even when u know u r honest. the simple moment of him trying to follow the rules and calling the pradhan to come and sign the files and realising that it's not going to work. Trying to behave professional to the villagers never get any work done on ground.
Getting involved in something as small as slippers exchange bcoz after a point u realise that u hold a degree or a post but no power and the illusion of respect and being better then others gets shattered within a second by the MLA.

Today your voice was falling on deaf ears sucharita, because i was completely distracted by the transformation, you are looking fab, i mean age gear is being put on reverse i suppose, not that you didn’t look pretty before, pretty then prettier now… i think efforts should be appreciated, whatever your investing in for this change is really paying off..😜
Ps: ‘not a movie review’ was the best line😀 itna sun liya😂

In a world putting Varun Dhawan and Tiger Shroff's on a pedestal, Jitendra is a missed opportunity.

Hey mam i accidentally landed on your video here .
Jeetu bhaiya is a great actor and i understand your viewpoint of mainstream for him but what our insecurities as a viewer for jeetu bhaiya (when he enters in bollywood) is that the type of role provided to him plus the script of movie
If both of the things will not work simultaneously , we as a viewer will get dissapointed and there would be no fault of JK here (provided)
Exception in my logic: aayushman khurana

I saw so many web series and movies . There is not a single series or movie that i can compare this with them. ❤❤❤❤❤ you have never seen the characters like them. Honestly I think this series is not a acting it's feel like real, everything is real. Exact xerox of real life. I don't know what I'm saying. But my mind is really boomed. S2 E08 is really make you cry no matter how cold heart are you. Make my word. Panchayat series rating from me - 100000/10 . ❤❤❤
