Why does it seem that majority of the cases are from "Non-Norwegians"? That is so weird. Americans, Canadians, Indians, Lithuanians, Polish, etc. They seem to target foreigners who they probably think are clueless about Norwegian child welfare laws. This makes Norway an unsafe destination to travel as a family because who knows, you might return to your home country without your children. That's just sickening.

It "seems" so. Which means you just read and heard about such cases more often. Be it due to coincident, overrepresantation of reporting about foreigners, or simply because the most cases are non-Norwegians, you don't know.
I would advise to check statistics if you are interested and want to know truth.
I would bet that foreigners are more often involved due to cultural clash and ignorance of laws. Things that are considered damning in Norway likely aren't outside of the norm in many countries.

Somebody should make a documentary about how many kids have died under their care too, it’s disgusting that they can go on. There’s many private companies that earns millions in BARNEVERNET that’s why they don’t shut it down. Children in the system have no voice, they even take suicide after being abused in their care. One case where a kid where systemically abused by a private owner in BARNEVERNET took his life because BARNEVERNET and the police did not punish the private owner. After he took his life, Barnevernet continued to have million dollars contracts with his abuser trafficking kids through him knowing he’s a child molesteer. This truly is legal child trafficking under the flag of “child protection” and the media is in on it! They always say barnevernet can’t comment because of privacy for the children. So they just keep on

The documentary in the form of a long interview was made more than 12 years ago. It was a Russian woman's story and her kids. Her pedo husband who she divorced got custody of a baby. Other kids were taken from her. She was highly educated professional and worked at the university. She escaped the country and managed to get one child. ( if I remember right) She hired a guy who helped her child to get out of the country. She claimed and I believe her that all of this is supported by pedo government ring and they are all connected to the top leaders of the EU and the world.

Friends of mine (he German, she Norwegian) left Norway very quickly in the middle of the night with three of their four children to prevent them from being taken away.
The second eldest child was going through puberty and was experimenting with "dark arts", witchcraft, vampyres etc. and had cut herself, - once. Things even I did as a teenager in puberty back in the 80s. It's nothing uncommon, even for kids with an happy childhood, like I.
As a result, the eldest son had to stay alone in Norway, he was about to graduate from high school.
He was placed in a foster home when he was almost 17 and was questioned by the police and Barneveret. They were desperate to get him to accuse his parents of abuse and used suggestive questions. His mobile phone was taken away from him for more then a month, he was not allowed to have any contact with his parents, even at school he was only allowed to use the Internet under supervision so that he would not email his parents. And he wasn't allowed to live with his grandparents or his uncle's family until his 18th birthday.
The father is a pediatrician and the mother an educationalist at college btw.

    • @danioxel
      @danioxel Před 5 lety +36

Ceramix Sure, they can also save people, but just because you got "saved" doesn't mean that what they do to others is okay, and that they can do whatever they please. Some CPS employees are nicer than others, some CPS offices are worse than others. Also, I've been in fostercare myself, and pretty much experienced the cruel and unfair ones. I do personally know several other people who have struggled pretty hard against the system in Norway where the reasons were absolutely not drug-abuse or neglect. One of my best friends got locked up in an institution which absolutely and utterly ruined him. Statistics also shows that one of the most common reasons is "lack of parenting skills", which can be pretty subjective.
And to add the lack of competence and help measures. Way too much assumptions based on loose subjective opinions where many kids doesn't even get heard, me included.
There's always something up with our CPS in the Norwegian media. All the time. You people who think it's nothing wrong with the Norwegian system? Oh please. It's so obvious that something is wrong that it hurts. Yes, there can be 2 (or more) sides of a story, but that doesn't mean the families side should be ignored. And yes, I know there's strict rules of confidentiality, but again, that doesn't mean that the system can do whatever they please and outright bully people. It's now revealed that there's 16 new cases at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. 26 overall. Institutionalised abuse towards families, and Human Rights has been violated. But Norwegians who have never experienced the trauma of being taken away from their loved ones passively acts like the whole shitshow is okay and the best system in the entire world.

I'm not religious by any means, but you are absolutely right about this when it comes to our child protection system in Norway. It's fundamentally flawed and needs to be reformed, for the childrens best interest. The most common reason statistically is "lack of parenting skills", not drug abuse, neglect or violence. The problem here is that it's highly subjective. Bureaucracy, and way too many unethical descisions based on subjective flimsy reasons are made to forcefully remove a child from their parents where the children doesn't get heard and the parents doesn't even get any help measures. "Barnevernet" also made my life a living hell when I was younger, ruining my schooling and indoctrinating me to believe I had no one who cared about me in my biological family network.

oh yeah. They tried to also use that lie with me. "Lack of Parening skills". They tried to force me to say I am a bad parent, need help with parenting skills; before the parenting skills classes they tried to force me to take. Ie they refused to give me the parenting skills classes unless I agree that I was a bad parent needing help with parenting skills. I literally asked them to put all that in writing, and that I would agree I am wonderful parent with excellent parenting skills, but that I would still take their parenting skill classes. They declined. They also then for hours told me that a higher child court Fylkesnemda had taken our kids from me, or that otherwise I "could have full custody", but that the Fylkesnemda had taken the kids from me; I made sure they all said this, and they did for hours, from 2 different divisions of AskøyBVN. They would not put that in writing either, or let me video/socialmedia it. I was polite, listened. Then I went directly to BergenBarnevernvakt in the Bergen police station, where both the police and Barnevernetvakt confirmed with both AskøyBVN and Fylkenemda that no court in any country and no court in Norway had taken our children from me. Then BergenBarnevernvakt told me to go to the school and enforce my custody orders (given by a Norwegian court). At which point ex and school again said I was trying to kidnap our kids. Lies. Our kids were so happy to see me! They were so excited to go home with me! I lived a few minute walk from both that barneskole and ex. As our youngest got ready, happily and so excited to go home with me!, her teachers, in front of all the kids in several classes, and parents and other adults and teachers, loudly threatened our youngest with she would call (her fathers name) right now and he would sort this out! At which point our youngest started crying and shaking scared, as he has blackbelts in TWKD and uses it when he does not get his way. When she knew only I could hear, she cried and said she was scared. She was scared FOR HER, not me, what he would do to her. Our other kids then were told I did not want them. After the teachers and principal took our youngest from me; then brought me upstairs....Recently our kids finally told me what he did later( some of it). Including he locked them inside the house, telling them Mommy will kidnap you, and would not let them out. And said bad things about me. It´s been very traumatic for them:( They are the nicest, sweetest, kindest, smartest, loving, healthy, etc kids, and he has ruined it. Some of the "parenting skills" AskøyBVN said I must have: a 4 bedroom home and car; not speak English ever with the kids; not hug our kids; not teach them about other countries holidays or cultures including America; not expose them to things like my BIPOC friends; not take them on public transportation; not take them into the mainland also known as Bergen. Not say Iloveyou(s), not have storytime at bedtime, or sing at bedtime, or hug them at bedtime, or say I love you. They said I must breastfeed on a strict schedule, not on demand as I chose. Our kids were all perfectly within the normal child weights etc range of charts for Norway, Sweden, America, UK, Europe countries, and Australia (because I checked all of them, because that is the kind of American Mamma I am). When I declined to breastfeed by a strict schedule, they said I was abusing our kids. So many things like this. Our kids pottytrained themselves because they wanted to go potty on the potty like Mamma, and both BHG (kindergarten) and Askøy BVN said I was abusing our kids by potty training them, then forced our kids back into diapers which traumatised our kids for atleast a year. The local Askøy Florvåg barnehage, literally refused to speak to me; and when I tried to join our kids for first day, the staff literally ignored me to my face, as polite as I tried to be and introduce myself etc; then literally in my face, took my ex outside the glass door to speak with him and give only him all the paperwork and info. They made it clear, even when I had custody that he was the only one they would speak to. I hid my distress at this, and left early, as if not I´d have burst into tears in front of my child, and everyone; and I did not want to ruin her first day. But then leaving obv upset her anyway as she thought she´d upset me, hurt my feelings. My ex would phone me to come get my kids (ie suddenly not his kids), then when I did, he´d call the afterschool staff saying I was kidnapping his kids. Then I´d be scared to get our kids from afterschool, and they´d say I abandoned the kids, he´d say I refused to pickup. If I was nice, they said I was cold, emotionless, mental. If I showed any emotion, like hugging our kids, or saying I love you, then I was clingy, emotional, mental, abusive. If I let our kids choose their clothes, or help do stuff they wanted to help with, I was abusing them by making them do work;or dress themselves (I obviously helped when they wanted/needed). If our youngest climbed into her stroller to "breastfeed" her babydolly, I was accused of abusing her by forcing her into a stroller (she was barely walking). etc.

The root of the problem is that the Norwegian government is mostly socialistic leaning and extremely arrogant. It is psychologically bathing in its righteousness and thinks the Norwegian people need to be taken care of every step of their lives.. You can see it in many other facets of that country as well... Sudden large government measures are taken without consulting the population and against the interest of the people. And all that while the country has the largest financial reserves in the world, more than 1 trillions USD. Which the Norwegian government decide, that it is not good to spent it on the population, lift up their living standards, lower taxes.. cause that might harm the economy... So many Norwegian are struggling financially... ""But hey.... don't give them a brake.... cause we know so much better"" The Norwegian governments extreme arrogance will destroy Norway in the end. Norway (that should be "the people of Norway" got rich and is getting richer everyday from fossil fuel.. but at the same time the government is vehemently opposed to fossil fuels. It has no clue what is right or left in their world and how to take care of the country and its people. Look at all the available hydropower for example.. this should be ownership of every Norwegian citizen.. But it is sold to Europe as green power, causing the prices for electricity in Norway to rise so that people cannot heat their houses anymore.. And that is the only way they have for heating. But the government decide.. Now the policy is to build large windmill farms on land to create more electricity.. Land and forest that otherwise is nature reserve.. no Norwegian is allowed to touch it.. But for the government's green policies everyone and everything is game.

What are they doing to these children. Absolutely terrible. They probably want to sell them to highest bidder.

Doing injustice based on cultural differences is cultural intolerance/ cultural ignorance/ culture superiority complex. Shame on that backward mentality of Norwegian Social Services.
We live in Melbourne, Australia and thankfully Child Protection Services here are not as brutal or insensitive. As a new mother, I always felt so supported and more attention was given to my mental health than the baby.
Never heard any fellow Indian parents complain about the system too. Nordic countries don't have as much multicultural population as Australia, thus they awareness to cultural differences is shockingly poor.

And this is practised in many other countries something similar just happend in Germany

@@navinshringi4608 yeah, for each child, lawyers, psychologists, teachers, doctors, welfare agents, and even judges receive money from government. since it's a very lucrative practice, they don't want to give up on taking children away culture from norway. it's not exactly sure why government pays them, but there are speculations that the children are sold for rich couples who can't make children, used for organ harvesting, blood harvesting, and medical researches. you can't find facts online as a lot of them are censored as norway is a liberal country. since the world is controlled by liberals you won't find anything about their dark side online. but hey if trump said something mean 20 years ago, you know it even from British news papers right before the election days.

"On September 26, 2022, a Norwegian Navy P8 surveillance plane dropped a sonar buoy in a seemingly routine flight, triggering high-powered C4 explosives that had been planted on the pipelines. Three of the four pipelines were put out of commission, and pools of methane gas that remained in the shuttered pipelines could be seen spreading."

Some foreigners moving to Norway are not aware, or dont want to realise, that it is a criminal offence to beat the children, even if the children have done something they are not allowed to do. Barnevernet will take the children out of the family if that happens.

It's common knowledge that many child protection agencies engage in systematic child abuse and even child trafficking . I'm sure they appreciate the influx of foreign families who face linguistic and logistic barriers in terms of navigating the Norwegian legal system

Ironically, Norway is also known for tolerating abuse of girls' rights by certain immigrant cultures, setting up a double standard of rights for native-born and immigrant girls.
