I watched a film about the two children taken from there parents all because they did things differently from the Swedish culture. The mother feed her baby with her hand, the social workers noted this as bad! This shocked me to my soul. It broke my heart how this women was treated in Sweden. She went back home and got her children back. There are refugees that have come from terrible situations, wars, family & there friends killed. There homes bombed. Yet they come to a safe country & this happens to them. This is heart breaking & absolutely wrong.

Ofcourse they overreact for safery reasons, however 9 out of 10 cases the children are back with there parents within a month.
The classic story like this one shown in the video are of incapable parents and we never see the other side of the coin or the reason why they take them, just what the parents tell them, and it’s often related with having to many kids or no stable income or no work.

This happens all over the west. Not enough people giving up children or badly neglecting or abusing them and welfare money keeps people out of extreme poverty so they have to keep the fostering and/or adoption business booming by ripping apart families when it's not ethical. Even in bulgaria where I live they target poor families. They take the children from uneducated people who do not know their rights and they don't let them know where the children are or tell them they are entitled to attend court. Once you attend court and get a lawyer it's much easier to get them back then it is in many more developed countries but the system thrives on people who don't know that this is an option. When they haven't seen the child for 6 months because they don't know where the child is and don't have transportation to go to access the child is adopted, often to people outside bulgaria. Forced adoption is probably the worst in the UK, particularly in Wales where 2% of all children at any given time are in foster care.

And you don't get a free pass around the law just cuz u don't know how the system work. I belive as many else does, that the parents should be informed about this yes. But the thing is that they already are in their own language just awhile after they arrive in Sweden. We can't just go around the law if someone claim that they didn't know something was illegal. That's how the law system works. Otherwise everyone would just be able to use it as a reason to be freed from crimes. Another thing is , the Sweden social service are kinda famous for not often stepping in when there's child abuse cases for example. It is very rare that they actually do something. For the case to be able to even pass to court they need to have VERY strong evidence. And in this case specifically the child has been abused. What difference does it make if they tell the parents about that what they did was wrong and illegal? The child has already been hurt. The damage has already been made. There's nothing they can do to change it. The child is clearly traumatized and never wants to meet their parent again. The child deserves a happy life away from the people that caused the damage. It doesn't help a single bit If the child is brought back to their parents. In this case legal custody was the best for the child. As the child itself has told. Listen to the children for once is all I'm trying to say.

If parents don't have money, a place to live, or food the government gives that to them. So if a child is starving it is because the parent chooses not to buy food or if a parent is sick like mental problem, drug problem or whatever and don't make the right decision for their family buying food for the baby.
All cases are unique but the government is not stealing children and if parents have a problem government helps them until they are fit to take care of their child. If there was not a crime committed like rape, then the parents will go to jail and not be whit that child again.

It's common that social "service" takes away children for very vague reasons, not only immigrant children. It's also pretty common that people are arrested without the police having to justify it or that people are taken into forced psychiatric care. The last example is a real Catch-22, because it explicitly says in the law that anyone who opposes voluntarily psychiatric care shall be forced to psychiatric care if the doctor deems them being a danger to themselves or others, and if a shrink makes up a "reason" it's almost impossible to get justice afterwards.

They took away my two daughters 3 years ago. I have so much pain everyday. If physical pain goes away, this doesnt. I love my children more than my life but they falsely accused and lied that I hurt them. I worked very hard to be successful in new country and my children were the best thing what happen to me in my life. They destroyed my happiness. My pain lives inside me and I cry inside of me from the worst pain than any physical pain I had before. All I is to pray and ask to be reunited.

@Gustav Thurfjell I started seeing my kids after 3.5 years. The appeals court overturned the initial decision as wrongful. My kids didn't remember me well. The crimes I was accused were very awful worse than hitting, only worst people could do to their children. I am angry how the system so easily destroyed my family without proper investigation. I am a stranger now to my kids. They don't want to see me.

Common misconception is that its Swedish social service take babies but this is incorrect because its not social service that decide if the child should be placed in care. Social service do an investigation and immediate placements when necessary, but all decisions are decided and processed by the Swedish court system that do their independent assessment if the placement is necessary.. All these court rulings are also accessible to the public through what's called offentlighetsprincipen. What's striking is that foreign media companys would rather show parents side of the story rather than actually investigate the court verdicts. I feel like this kind of reporting is biased so please stop spreading misinformation.

A woman from my country who lives in sweden her five children were taken by the swedish social services because they were used to read quran instead of watching cartoons.
One day her 6 years old girl was talking to swedish Christian girl and she asked her " dud you watch the show last night?" And the woman's little girl answered "I learn quran at night, I didn't watch it" .
The swedish little girl told her mother and her mother called the social services and told that a Muslim woman and her husband are abusing a 5 children and social services took all her babies it's been years and they never returned them to her.
They put the children for adoption the little ones were adopted by homosexual people just to change their beliefs and their culture, they rejected everything she did to get her kids back.

Swedish social services only take children if the parents severely mistreat their children. There's a hate campaign going on in Arabic media, that has been discussed extensively here in Sweden. The state did intervene in a couple of instances of drug abuse and beatings. Don't believe for a second that Swedish authorities take the children of good, normal parents.

3) babies that are newborn are taken away against the parents' will. Before any chance is given to the parents. They dont even have the identity of the baby. Imagine having your child taken and you have zero ways of knowing how he looked like, where he went and you cant even name him/her properly.
4) the naive idea that someone who has no bloodties to a child will take better care of a strangers child than the biological father. Hence the mass complaints of children being mistreated and molested.
5) the idea that an institutional way of living with cold walls, single beds, day cares and cold strangers taking care of a child are better than the loving way foreign countries take care of their children.
