Hey Chrome, you just made the BEST 9 minute commercial for Jackery, that I've ever seen! You should get compensated for this, or at the very least, royalties for it! 👍 GOOD JOB!
He got a free battery. He got $145 worth of free product per minute plus his monthly payment from Jackery for working with them
@@krusty1027 - Well worth it!!
Another words, a small high efficiency refrigerator could run off this thing.(?)
Thank you for the information. I got one comming in two weeks. I got two portable solar panels to use in summer. I live in Seattle as a vandweller, so plug in charge is awesome for the rainy season. I can plug in charge at work. Very helpful video 🙂.
This is a great step forward, but we're still 5 years away from what a lot of people want or need. Recharge times of 7 to fourteen hours is too slow. I'm holding out for charging in two hours and being enough for two days and costing $200. USD.
Ecoflow Delta 1300 charges close to that, but $1400. We are years away from your price point.
Yes, very unrealistic I know, but taking 7 to 14 hours to recharge, come on that's unrealistic, as well.
Right.
Thank you for the wonderful, informative videos. Your Rhino Rack video saved me from purchasing the metal brackets and dealing with rust. The Jackery Explorer is my next purchase! I'm in the process of converting a 2013 Ford E250 into a camper. All of your videos have helped so much. Thank you again for sharing!.
I have been looking to buy for a while so I waited to today's sale. I just bought myself the 1000 with 2 SolarSaga 100 x 2 a couple hours ago. For $899 plus shipping. Can't wait for it to come in.
It is a beast!! So handy in vanlife and homelife for that matter. I would love to have any of those wonderful batteries!!! Total game changer for a lot of people.
These solar generators are a game changer for van life
I bought my 2 jackerys because of your vids... I used them in my van... now they power my art studio....love them...
Keep making your wonderful videos Chrome, my van life is getting easier after a rough start
I have the Jackery 240 and love it. I plan to get this 1000. I have a small solar set up and don't understand any of it and so I hate it. LOL So looking forward to picking one of these up in the very near future!! Thank you Jackery. And thank you Chrome!
Wow , Like the Video so much I bought one ! I bought the 240 model . This will be great for lots of different uses. Thanks for the info Chrome . Thanks Jakery , this will make running away easier.
We bought a 1500 for our house. Then we bought a van! The 1500 will be the power for our van as we begin to use it, to see how we want to wire it. Just started the van build - this week patching holes (from contractor cabinets, bolts etc.) wire wheeling rust and painting. Can’t wait next week or so, to get it insulated and install flooring walls, ceiling.... I want to go where the sun shines! Not too bad in recent days but it will be so nice to be able to do that! We are just south of the border from you.
I’ve got the 240 and love it, this is the next upgrade 🙌🏽
i want one !!! i have been reading reviews and this is the best constructed units available...wise investment in my opinion !!!
Perfect!!!! I’m getting this set up today!!!! I’ll definitely sleep well tonight. And I found a portable fridge!
I genuinely hope you did NOT buy with them. :( After more than 20 attempts to contact them, including 4 different email addresses and social media... and NOTHING. AWFUL AWFUL COMPANY. >:(
Do your homework, there are much better ones out there.
I bought a bus for travel and while I set up solar panels on top of the bus, I think I want this as a backup! I'll keep an eye out for your video release party and hopefully some deals! Thanks again Chrome and keep on keeping on!
It needs to charge in 2 hours from solar to be suitable for full time van life at 1000 dollars plus shipping to the UK.
I think two AGM 95 ah plus a mpt plus 400w solar is cheaper if you can fit it yourself.
Ordered my 1000 yesterday with the solar panel. So excited to start my adventures! 🎉❤
I have a dometic plb40. I also just alternate the car 12v and the solar. Keeps my Engel fridge running as long as I like while camping. This is about double the capacity with the inverter a real bonus. Hope they make it in 240v and bring it to Australia
Love watching your channel. I try and watch you every time you are on! I first saw you when I found Emmie, The Cat Lady Van. Keep bringing out the great video's... Lots of love to you and the adorable Cruz. xx
Always informative Chrome. Thank you.
Nicely done Chrome.
Loved the demo and review. Can you run a 12 volt cooler for how long? Thanks for showing👍
Those calculations are pretty easy for you to figure out on your own. Find out how many watts that cooler draws.... This is 1002 white hours. So if the cooler draws 5 Watts... simply divide 5 W by 1002 W hours and you will have your answer
@@VANCITYVANLIFE Actually you would divide 1002 Wh by 5 W which would be about 200 hours.
VANCITY VANLIFE test
You inspired me, my name is Natalie. Building a shuttle bus (very small) on my own. Can’t wait to take off!!!! My goal is June, Sunday, 14, 2020. At 63, can’t wait to hit the road! I watch you all the time late at night. You make me laugh, cry and inspired my being to TAKE OFF! Thank you. Trying to purchase the Jackery 1,000 with a discount code. Can’t find any. Do you know if any? ;).
DID YOU MAKE IT? ARE YOU OUR CRUISING?
I think hobotech has a code.
This is such a tease!!! I want 1 now!!!
Love some Jackery. Their products are great. Very well made
kick ass.big boy. if I had u a van definitely buy this! jackery u are the kings of off grind living! no expensive solor crap and wires! simple and easy
Damn bro!!! I'm sold on the all in one units. I don't have Jackery products yet, because I have a different maker/model. However, I would love to upgrade to Jackery power and solar panels, as I don't want to mount panels to my roof. I just need to allocate funds to make this move. I drive a ton for work and stay in place for about 10 hours a day so charging on the go and sitting wouldn't by an issue. Thanks for the video and product introduction!!!
Great price . Brought it to the park for a gathering and worked right out the box! No problem at all
I have been waiting for this review, ever since you teased it a few weeks ago.
Same here. Chrome, can you use the 100w monocrystalline panels to charge this?
I’m so excited, as a female wanting to do my own electronics this is the option for me. So inspiring. Thanks gotta be sure you get the credit ☮️🧝🏽♀️✨
Wow! Very impressive!
Definitely the answer.. impressed
Thanks Chrome for the demonstration... looks good ... Jackery is Awesome... very simple easy to use... Stay Weird Chrome and Cruz.....
Going to Alaska this spring...I need this
OH YEAH!!!!! This is what Ive been waiting for!
That things a beast!!
i love it and am gonna get one for sure
I love my jackery 1000!
Would love one of these for my van conversion 😁👍
We have the 500 for the backcountry to charge up our drones. Next on our list is the big one. It will run our cabin easy.
What does it cost? Will it power a microwave? Thank you for showing that and explaining, showing, and making it easy to understand!!
It has a 2000 W peak. So it will definitely run a 1000 W microwave with no problems at all
How much does it cost? And can I charge it with a solar panel?
Hey, saw your video on upgrading coolers. Motivated me to save $$$ and go for cooler instead. Need to get a vacuum sealer though for meats and such.
Awesome video very well done 👍 that is a powerhouse wow 👍🇨🇦🛠️👍
I have a buttload of Ryobi 3 and 4ah batteries. I built a little interface to adapt these 20V batteries over to the cable input of the Jackery. So I can just charge all these batteries before or during a trip, with their chargers. And then run the jackery with them hooked up, or just use them to charge it.
They currently have it for $100 off. At the price of $899 usd. I finally ordered mine. It's a Father's Day special until they're out of stock or the end of the week
@@myfavoritethings1920 it’s on sale again!
Have fun and take care
thats awesome, i did like that the smaller jackery batteries had more 12v outputs compared to this one. but i'd love to see what this beast can power.
When I build my tiny house I’m just going to buy two of these with two solar panels each. I won’t use them simultaneously but alternate between them. If I go on a road trip I’ll take one with me to charge while driving.
Add a gas-powered generator for the super heavy use or cloudy days and I’m gold.
Just got ours yesterday
OH MOMMA! HECK YEAH! That's what I want. I can tuck that under my bed and never need to move it. I can just run the solar panel out the back door. Now, I just need to start saving.
I would recommend using the Quick Charge to juice up the jackery while driving long distances. You get double the charge and all you need is a power inverter
Right on, Jackery is the best.
I just got commercialed
I want my 9min of life back
@@randymoss8183 I'm sorry no refunds.
Sweet power bank
I don't know... Instant Pot + fridge/ freezer + fans + heater + electric kettle, +.charge devices, etc.? I don't have the knowledge to perform the calculations at.this point. But the main problem I see is that it takes way too long to.charge via solar. If you.can't get the energy into it, then it won't be there for you to make use of. I'm nowhere near being ready for one of these products, but I hope this issue will be resolved in the future. This seems like a.step in the right direction.
U r now set for success with jackery
Awesome videos 💯🔥👌🏽
good morning from michigan chrome :) love the battery so cool
Another Awesome Vid Crome, I so have to get one, When you coming to the Island next i here you now have 3 LOL
Looking to hookup two (parallel) Renogy 160w solar panels to this baby via the Anderson plug. That’s 320w maximum under ideal conditions. Can it handle that?
That thing would be great in California with the prospect of our power being shut off every time the wind blows in summer and fall!
I have the Jackery 500. It is great. But Ibwould prefer to Jackery 1000. When I am in my car I use a chinese diesel heater and power my electronics. I have ample power for weeks. I would like to use the 1000 for my man cave.
OOHHHHH YAAAAA... I cannot wait for March 18th!!!
Hai great and much informative review about jackery power station. Can I connect e bike Power charger to this power station while riding my RAD E- BIKE 🚲 . Can I tie and connect this to extend the range of Electric Bike.
I wanna know if jackery is ever going give us one of those cable screw down ports so we have more options on what to connect.
Id like to know if I could have 400w of solar, plugged into it, and have it charge while being used? Example: 400w solar charging the jackery, but using a tv and laptop to game at the same time. Would this even be possible?
The e1000 accepts a maximum of 160 watts of input, regardless of port. Yes, it supports pass through charging, so you can charge and use appliances at the same time.
So I have a small hunt fish camp which is used about 40 days between May and October. If the Jackery is hooked up and charged via a solar panel will it be properly maintained while I am away between stays or do I disconnect the solar and for that matter can I leave it connected to a solar panel all the time while I using it.
Good morning Chrome and Cruz.
I have a toyota prius. Can I plug the unit into the car charger and charge an ebike battery while I'm driving to a trail to ride my bike.
I Love Jackery !!! 🍺🍺🍺♥️♥️♥️
What if you live in a country that has 220 volts and plug types C/E? How can we use it?
Great video as always and just wanted to ask do you get to keep that unit or do you have to send it back to Jackery
Chrome..its my birthday, you could give it to me! Lol..sounds like a good battery..know when I go get one it'll be a Jackery..
Hi Chrome, I checked out the Jackery website and I'm leaning towards the Explorer 240 model. I have a Coleman solar panel that I bought a few years ago that I can connect to this device eventually. Can I keep it hooked up to the solar panel so that I can keep a constant stream of power or would I need to go to deep cycle batteries for that? I'm not handy and I don't trust myself to do any complicated wiring. I figure I could just have a powerbar plugged into the AC outlet and have all my bigger devices plugged inside like the fridge, TV and so on. Would having it constantly hooked up to the solar panel kill the device?
#LiveYourPassion Luv you Chrome and Cruz !! Weirdos Unite !! Normal Sucks !! ❤️ 🌞🚐 🇺🇸#FindYouFreedom
🐾 Disco will forever be in my heart !! ❤️
I have a small Domotic fridge Cf35, can the Jackery 1000 support this small fridge?
It's a 84 amp hour battery in the Jackery 1000.
I am so pumped I found your channel. I plan to sell my house and buy a van in June 2020 .. I am guna build out my van by my SELF 😅.. I am so NOT an electrician OR plumber .. or carpenter .. soooo this is my plan for my electric ⚡️ set up.. probably guna buy one of the small ones too so while the big one is charging I can use the little one.. Are you able to have the input plugged into solar full time while other things are plugged in full time without any issues?
I have a goal Zero 1000 lithium.
It is basically the same as this one.
It is so easy to use.
Best set up you can do in a van
And yes I think this can do pass through power. That's charge while u discharge power at same time
I just wish that Jackery could release one for the Australian market as there are very few similar products over here.
Adam. the 240 and the 500 ARE available in Australia. The 240 on Amazon Australia and the 500 on the Australian Jackery website
@@Jenni_Christmas thanks 😀
Forget the 12v cord. The best way to charge while driving is to use a 300w bestek pure sine inverter ($40) and the wall plug for the Jackery. 7 hrs instead of 14 hrs recharge time while driving. The bestek also has another 120v outlet and USB A ports you can use at the same time.
Yup.... hobotech reported that a while ago
If the Jackery is being powered by the inverter, then what is the inverter plugged into? Excuse my ignorance, but this all new to me.
Hey Chrome, how are the smaller Jackery products you had before holding up? A long term review would be ... interesting.
Hopefully the price will drop in time I need one !
Great review! Have you heard anything about a soon-to-be-released Jackery 1500?
I AAAAM GETTING ONE OF THESE! 😍🥰😘
Can you charge the Jackary off a 12v to the Andersen plug? or is that for solar only?
Sooo...I could run one of those 12v Dometic fridges off of this now!?
i know someone who runs her ARB Fridge off her Jackery Explorer 240
I like your new toy 👍🏻😍😌
Chrome what do you think about what do I need to set up my phone or computer for CZcams channel I'm just starting out and I don't know what I need
Random Question: Would I be able to plug in a power bar into the outlet so I could get maybe 2-4 more outlets??? For instance, if there are two laptops that need to be plugged in out on a picnic table or something, etc.
yes you can use power bars, if you plug to much obviously you'll. be sucking back the power, but depending what it is you should be good to go!
Can you run an electric heater?
hello, so i dont need solar anymore? can l plug a fridge? with my van off?
How many solar panels can you parallel?
I have a laptop charger that is three prong and says "125V" would that work with this?
Is there a way you can plug in multiple 12v appliances? A lot of 12v fridges use a cigarette lighter port and in the video you've used a cigarette lighter adapter for your lights. Can I plug in the lights and a fridge, using a different method?
There are usb to cigarette lighter adapters...
My question would be to compare with an equivalent Renogy system. Meaning if you took the 999 for the battery and the cost of the solar panel how much installed solar and power could I get. I know the Jackery is going to be an install so easy even Bob could do it which is a consideration.
You would get more out of the Renogy system, especially if you went AGM or SLA batteries.
Do you think it would run a TV and playstation with out a problem
Could this be used to charge narrowboat batteries
WOW! I live in a van too. This is giving me a new idea. I wanted to install 4 6volt batteries in my van. Now i think I will only install 2 6 volt batteries and this 1000 watt generator that is transportable. That's great for me. Do you think this could power an electric boat motor?
Sweet!
