My Thoughts on If Social Work Jobs Will Be Automated In The Future

Hello everyone! I hope y'all are good. This is a chatty video where I wanted to share my thoughts on if social work jobs will be automated in the future. Lately I have noticed to many careers and jobs are becoming obsolete, so I think this is a conversation that is worth having in regards to our field as well.

Hi! I'm a social worker from Sweden. I made a mini survey on people with autism and results show they rather talk to or chat with AI than a human. Imagine an AI that's available 24/7. Wherever you are and when you need it. Imagine you are in a social setting and you feel anxious and don't know how to handle it. The AI can guide you through that situation. I'm currently working on developing a software for that purpose.

Any ideas for someone that doesn’t want to direct practice? I’m graduating with an msw soon and nervous I may not like direct practice but not sure what jobs are out there for macro work not related to advocacy jobs
