Hi, after getting my 2-year Associates in Social work, If I don't want to finish the rest 2-years getting a BSW. What Bachelor's program can I major in to go along with my 2 year Associate in Social work?
Hi there , please can you make a video on making a good resume and cover letter ref-social worker or social services worker !
Excellent as usual!!! Empowering and helpful in calming the anxiousness!
Thank you for that feedback! I’m happy to hear that
Thank you, Gabby!
I absolutely love your channel! It has helped me navigate through my passion for the macro social work field. I was wondering if you have any book recommendations that helped encourage you in Macro SW ?
I love this Video, wish I could’ve watched b4 college. Guys I went to college straight thur BS to MS. Without time to even explore the ample opportunities.
Please explore Fellowships & a Gap Year to gain experience. (They may have tuition reimbursement)The best Advice Ever! You can’t get time back & the experience is so worth getting.
Yes I think that exploration can really be helpful! I graduated in December and started grad school that following August. So technically I also took a gap year(ish). Lol I worked in between.
Perfect timing omg, I just graduated in May with my bachelor's!
Congrats! Yes I know graduation season is here, so wanted to drop this video just in time 😌
@@MindyourSociety if I have my AA in social work and AA in paralegal studies can I do law social work or any other careers with these 2 degrees?

I need help understanding how to submit the hours
Would you be willing to talk about macro social work supervision? I graduated last month (LLMSW) and will be starting supervision this week (I work at a research center). I’ve been looking online for macro social work supervision topics/ advice and haven’t found much. Thank you! ☺️
My supervisor sent the hours in but then someone told me I was suppose to first send in a form 1 to open a case is that true ?
Hey gabby just came across your content. I am starting my masters in social justice studies in January 2023 from Lakehead University and I have a question, that are there any major differences in social justice and social work degrees. I want to work in united nations so, my second question is can I persue a career in UN as my focus is woman and gender studies?
I hope I can get an answer..
Hi Gabby!
I’m an undergraduate student taking a similar path to yours and I was wondering if you had any advice for someone who is interested in blending opportunities to work with individuals and institutions/government on a macro level? In Missouri it looks like there are two separate licenses for those paths, an LCSW, and an LAMSW (Licensed Advanced Macro SW). Could I just pursue the LCSW and then look for opportunities in leadership/administration/grant work over the course of my career? I’m also curious about military social work, which looks like it might be able to accommodate that variety.
Hello! You can pursue the LCSW and still go macro later. That wouldn’t be an issue! And if you think you want to do some direct practice during your career, that’s probably the best approach.
any tips for pursuing MSW from any open university.....for distant learners. Also kindly suggest some open universities
Thanks so much for all the helpful videos! How do we contact you to be a guest speaker for university social work programs?
You are welcome! Thanks for watching. For speaking opportunities, you can email me at : www.MindYourSociety.com.
