- Hey what's up everyone. Today I am talking about a struggle I notice from many Social Workers and people in different helping professions. Do you have this trait as well? If so, don't feel bad! Awareness can lead to change, overtime.

Im 3 years into case management with adults with substance abuse and/or mental health diagnosis.
I'm still struggling with boundaries, it's difficult but necessary.
Yes spot on! Keep at it. It’s worth the effort.
The timing of this! Oof!! Setting boundaries in workplace right now. It isn't easy but it feels good after the fact... self advocacy because we can't fix the poor boundary issues of the past but we can in the future. Every relationship is an opportunity to care for ourselves and teach others to treat us the way we would like to be treated vs the way we've always been treated.
Good luck with your work situation ! Yes it feels so good. And that’s a great philosophy about building relationships 👏🏾
You get it sis!
OMG thank you for this topic. I can relate to everything you said. I started setting boundaries as well. My circle has shrunk, but its for the better.
That can definitely be a result of setting boundaries. People can think you are acting ‘brand new’ and bounce whenever you set a boundary.
Omg 🥰😍🥰 so beautiful.
Thank you for sharing. This topic is so relatable even in the family setting.Sometimes family members can be very emotionally or financially draining. It is therefore important to set boundaries there.
Thank you for sharing this. Extremely helpful 🤗
What a great video. Yes we have to become aware of ourselves so we can take care of ourselves and do not project our stuff onto clients.
Love it! I like what you said about friends and family as well :)
love to see you back! liking the new setting too
Thank you! I appreciate your comment!
