- The Chocolate Babies are in tennis lessons! When Yvette and I were dating, she played tennis. Soon, it was something we were both competitive over and tennis became a game we bonded over frequently on date nights. This past year, I realized how much I liked my time on the court and started taking lessons myself. I think it's important as we get older to continue to foster new habits and remind ourselves how it feels to learn or better a skill. We decided that Theo, Anaya, and Uriah would start taking beginner's tennis lessons this Spring and so far they're loving it! Idk why, but that part when Naya is telling Glen about her new socks really touched me. It was such a random comment & yet Glen still acknowledged her & told her how awesome it was that they felt great. When I was growing up, little mentions like that were often ignored & I was made to feel that I “talked too much”. This is why I love watching this family. The tiniest acknowledgments can make a world of difference 🙏🏽

100% I feel like for the 9 months a person is pregnant, mom and dad should be mandated to watch this family system function and thrive!!! 😂 These are the parents every child deserves ❤️ and the kind of parents who are raising well rounded healthy functioning individuals that are confident but respectful and kind. That know how to express their emotions and have healthy conversations in conflict or distress. The communication and love is superior!

i feel as though the chocolate babies are like the ninja turtles. Theo is Leonardo, the oldest/ leader. Riah is Raphael, stubborn but loyal. Anaya is Donatello kind of the all rounder of the four and Uzi is Michaelangelo, the youngest and all over the place. I also love the ninja turtles and am the youngest of four siblings myself so thats probably why i see it that way

The family, Glen and Yvette really give me hope and happiness to see a black loving family. Coming from a broken home, finding out my father died when I was in high school, being in foster care etc. to me having a kid now. I love this. As a black woman who was never put into organized hobbies and sports as a child and only joined when I was old enough to make the decision myself, I always promise myself that when I have babies, I'll put them in everything to help them discover their passions and let them make that decision
Each child is so amazing and unique in their own way. It’s so fun to watch them grow. I’m always gravitated toward Theo. He truly has a heart of gold. I’ve never witnessed such a compassionate, kind-hearted child. Love your content, thank you as always ❤️

Uzi and that racket! 💛 The fact that the kids can listen to their dad's music is amazing! Uzi language skills are great. You can tell he is talked to and read to. As a kindergarten teacher, I can tell you that it makes a world of difference. He speaks better than a few of my students!

Just the kids getting in the car with Dad overseeing them and giving that little bit of nurturing... that gave me all the feels! And then the goodbye! So heartwarming! It's the little things that make a huge difference in life. They know they're loved. They know they'll be missed. I had hopes for these family dynamics for myself with a partner. It's hard to dream about anymore, but I applaud those of you who do have it and have the wherewithal NOT to take it for granted. I enjoyed the conversation between Mom & the kids. That's something I'd do. Such a great way to establish family communication. They can talk about anything practically! Not just at that age, but as they grow, I see them going to Mom or Dad to have one-on-one discussions about whatever happens to them in life or whatever curiosities that arise. I didn't have that. I was shut down a lot. I find challenging to ask anyone anything. I strive to overcome it, but I guess I can't help acknowledging and applauding when I see parents set their kids up for success in these ways. Yoooooo! I looooove "No Chill!" That's one of the sickest flows, one of the phattest beats, and it's in several of my playlists! I love rockin' to that in the mornings!

I was born the eczema and I’ve had it on and off all my life. I’m turning 27 in August. Seeing Uzi scratch break’s my heart because the itch and pain can get so excruciating. Glad the family is understanding and supportive of his condition.
