I'm an older Caucasian woman with a grown son and grown grandson and this is one of my favorite channels. I had very smart, cool, loving parents and was youngest of 8 kids. This is a GREAT family! Wonderful parenting!

Watching this brings tears to my eyes.. The nostalgia. Growing up, our family of 6 (3 girls, 1 boy), usually took at least a couple of trips a year - one on Spring Break and one over the summer. They weren't expensive trips (like all 6 of us in a 2 bed motel room, or just going to visit family that lived near the beach).. This reminds me of that cool air when we would wake up at 2 or 3 in the morning to beat traffic and drive from North AL to South FL (I never got on airplane until I was an adult).. Traditions were created on those road trips.
It's amazing the things/memories we hold dear..
For people reading this who can't do a "nice" trip, I would still encourage you to do what you can, if you can. I know my siblings and I grew up in a different era (without having videos/pictures of other people's lavish trips readily available), so I know not all children will show the same level of appreciation.. But I do believe they'll appreciate it and look back fondly later, if they don't now.
Time is priceless! We have six and a fur baby. I also made the decision to sahm and homeschool. We spend a lot of time outdoors,picnics, water days for the summer. Our trips often times is in a hotel room or a cabin. Our kids really do enjoy just being away from home.
God cover them wherever they go, in Jesus name Amen!! Have fun chocolate babies! Great Job mom and dad!

I'm sure they will be good as long as NO oatmeal and eggs is involved, lol. I'm 61 and in May I was traveling and there was a young father on the plane with an infant and a toddler. I could tell he was stressed because the baby wouldn't stop crying. So I tapped him on the shoulder and said can I try and he was glad. I feed him and bundled him and he fell right off to sleep and I held him the whole trip. Father was so grateful, but he didn't realize how grateful I was to be holding a baby.
Aww,that’s so sweet. I was a fairly young mom with my first son. I still remember being at appointments with him a few times elderly women stepped up and helped me with him. I also remember taking taxi cabs when his dad and I broke up. A group of neighbors came up to told me I didn’t have to put money towards cabs..that they would give me rides. They noticed that I didn’t have family support. Kindness goes a long way.
@@KimmieNoel (I just realized you have a channel, I just subscribed now I'm going to share on my Facebook channel for family with young one's to subscribe). Kindness really does go a long way instead of the dirty looks some passengers were giving him. The baby was really sweet at one point he woke up and started playing with me. I had the support of my mother-in-law when my son was a baby and got sick. She worked as a nurse at Children's Hospital in St. Louis and I would call crying telling her I didn't know what to do and she would say bring him to her and when he was better she would call us to come get him. Now I get a chance to help younger folks and I love it.

The baby had a blast, loved the beaches and we created beautiful lifelong memories. But ummmm....hubby and I booked a trip and have a sitter for this one. 😉

This dog tip made a huge difference w both our grandpups so hear me out. Lol. A communicator advised to tell your dog/cat what you’re doing vs just leaving. “Pepper, mommy is going to work now. I’ll be back tonight but daddy will be home this afternoon.” “Carter we are leaving for a week for vacation. So & so will take care of you until we return.” And always an “I love you”. I swear the very 1st I did this she stopped being anxious when I left everyday. Even stayed in her bed upstairs like “ok, see ya later”. I know MY ppl will think it crazy but it’s worth trying so that our pets don’t suffer so much anxiety 🙏🏾🖤
