  • Do you love house quilt blocks? Do you have some leftover fabrics? Often we have leftovers and this time an idea for some smaller strips & squares, 1 1/2" teamed up with 2" strips & squares. This house block encourages putting lots of colours together into a village quilt but keeping a constant background colour to help bring it all together. The block measures 5" high by 3 1/2" wide. How delicious! - so many possibilities....... Have fun!

I think that the night sky would be great using a gold fleck or white snowy types of fabrics. To give the illusion of stars or snow. I'll have to check my stash now and add this to my list of quilts to make.

I do need to get a handle on my scraps. It is on my todo list for this winter. Plan to make some crumb blocks and crazy quilt so I can use all those wonderful decrotive stitches on my machine. So this project will fit right in with it. Perfect timing thank you
