      Thanks for confirming the knuckle draggers are out in force. Allegations aren't guilt, notwithstanding that you want them to be. The real crime here is FFP. According to fans of Liverpool and ManU, City are against the spirit of football because they allegedly breached FFP. But FFP was only brought in in the first place to permanently cement the position of Liverpool and ManU. I know which one I think was the real crime, but the knuckle draggers won't care.

    I think City got caught with their hands in the cookie jar and is trying to deflect and defer any judgment against them. I do agree a fine would be a hollow gesture as the club can afford it. Not sure how effective a transfer ban would be as they have a lot of depth in their roster. A points penalty and or relegation would make more sense. This all depends on how tough the Premier League wants to be. Will they hold them accountable and hammer them or will they give them a slap on the wrist because it is better for business?

    If they really have been dealing unfairly on this level then pretty much everybody should be pissed at them. Like every club (and their fans) who have been runners up in the years they won the league, and every club who missed out on a Champion's League spot, or a Europa League spot, or who got knocked out of a cup by them, etc.
    And not only that, but there's also the fact that if they won by cheating then this means they also unfairly inflated their fanbase, which essentially gave them more "real" income, because winning teams will always pick up a lot of plastic fans who eventually become real fans.
    And also everybody at City who _wasn't_ in-on-it should be pissed at the club, because their names will get dragged through the mud.
    If they really are cooking the books as severely as it seems then they should get the book thrown at them, titles stripped, massive fines, and dropped completely from the league, to start again at the bottom.

From the very inception it's been a creation of tremendous violence, subjugation, corruption, environmental destruction and precarious, unstable expansion. How could you ever expect anything but the most ruthless and immoral of characters to quickly come to dominate it?
      No successful capitalist in their right mind, from any period of time, would say "well competition is good so I shouldn't try to buy out upstarts or make the industry inaccessible and just lose marketshare. I shouldn't use these egregious piles of cash I have to bribe politicians and weaken regulations so I can make more money." Exactly. Docking points in the season where they actually balanced the books isn't right. It should be in the seasons they actually cheated. I say go back dock 15 points on each season then whoever comes out on top won the league or made the champions league. Champions league teams that would have made it need to be compensated.

  • @ubauba6530
    @ubauba6530 Před rokem +1

    The punishment should be as follows:
    - Historic points deduction
    - A fine to the total of winnings owed to teams that retrospectively win the title during each affected year, of which each portion is paid to each retrospective team.
    - Regelation to league 1 so not to indirectly punish teams pushing for promotion to the premier league
    - Transfer ban for the duration of Haaland's contact
    - Subsequent investigation into years 2018-2023 and punishments 1 & 2 re-applied if found guilty in those years.
    Then, Roberto Mancini should be investigated for corruption/ fraud.
