@@BigBoss-cc2mh Love it! It's a great road-trip car. My summer travel plans are starting to fill up. OTA updates keep improving the software and adding new little features and options. My favorite new one lets me automatically aim the passenger side mirror down when reversing. It's a small detail, but paying attention to the details is what Lucid does. No squeaks or rattles yet. Still hasn't been in for service but I really should just let them check everything I suppose. It's still thrilling just to get behind the wheel and drive. The Lucid has spoiled me for driving anything else.

Unbelievably nice car! I came very close to buying a Lucid Air Pure but it was slightly outside my price range so I ended up getting a Kia EV6 GT.
It's great to see all of these amazing electric cars becoming available and honestly I don't think I could ever go back to an ICE vehicle at this point.
I was waffling between Fathom blue and white for my Air Pure. I am going with the white. Thanks for the video.

Not a big fan of Ev’s but I had to get an Ev bought lucid air loving it, it’s just brilliant of a car keep falling in love with it more and more over the days
That's a car I'd love to own with the power and the size of both the front and back seats and that massive power frunk more than makes up for the trunk. Looks and drives awesome.

Not bad at all. That's why we said it was probably not their fault because they should have known that there was a pick up scheduled that morning. Yee has tried sprint mode but he is also preparing a video review of his Lucid Air Touring. Watch out for that one :)
@@AutoEnthusedTV what I meant is what if someone spilled something just before your arrival. I doubt not knowing about an arrival, but Who knows, I was not there.

I would prefer the front seats be the same light color as the rear seat. Can that be spec’d?
As far as we are aware of, Lucid currently doesn't have a trim that has the same light colored seats in the front.
I got the touring with 20' tire my mileage is not up to par. What is your experience?
wheel size will change the estimate mileage. 19" will get the best mileage. This is the same with all cars, and the Lucid's algorithm doesn't fake the numbers like other *cough-Tesla* cars did a couple years back.
Actually was all set to buy a Lucid Air, but didnt happen. Why?? First, Lucid’s financial team could never quite give me a straight answer as to how much the car would actually cost with their financial calculator. Lots of back and forth, lots of “sorry, let me have someone get back to you”, and just very clear to me that they didnt have their act together. Then visited the shopping mall showroom a couple times and it was equally clear that the salesmen/saleswomen had very little knowledge about the car, pricing, options, etc. Then went for a test drive and I was a bit underwhelmed. Definitely nicer interior than the Tesla but then I also checked out the new BMW ix50 and that had more tech and more plush interior than I could imagine. Then test drove the ix and it blew away the Lucid. Lucid just felt like it had quality issues and staff all around seemed like they were not well trained. Couple that with a company that is more of a boutique car company and made me a bit nervous. Final nail in the coffin was their supposed great deal with a monthly lease price of $1299, but fine print required an up front payment of $11K….made no sense.
Ended up buying the ix and very happy w the decision.
Glad you found your car! The Lucid Air and IX have very different philosophies and we're happy you ended up with the one that resonated with you.
I agree the local delivery team seems to have no clue what they are doing!
Good luck not bricking or getting any service at all. My neighbor sold his within 7 months. Beautiful car, but the software has got to get better. The transitions between screens is glitchy and unresponsive. For what you get it’s too small.
Anyone coming from a TELLURIDE is going to think this car is money. Let me preface that I own 2 BMW X5Ms, Aston Martin, a Maserati, a Model X and two Mercedes. The MX Plaid is my favorite to drive and it has FSD. The last software was tight.
I personally know the design firm, tolleson design, who built the LUCID brand.
Yee has had good experience so far with his Air and he is coming from Porsche/Tesla. Michael owns the Telluride and is excited with just about any car.
Of all those beautiful colors Lucid has, you chose white 😁
To be fair, aside from varying shades of grey, the only “color” they offered was burgundy and fathom blue 😁
Hmm... I prefer them to the white Lucids. But I respect your choice. My wife is all about white vehicles. For me it has to be very specific vehicles to be white. 😊
White is the rental car color
There are no set times to clean the floor. You never know who came in with their kids and messed the place up, and they needed to clean it immediately. If you had seen their store dirty, wouldn't you still have complained?

People have no class or style today. I saw the thumbnail and I saw a beautiful car, so I clicked on it like thousands of people will, and in the first 1 minute I saw the interior with that computer just bolted on top of the dash board. That messes up the lines and smoothness of the car. It's so easy and looks better when you have a wrap around dashboard, or simple put the info system inside the dashboard. I see so many cars with the info system just bolted on top and it's going to stay that way until people start asking for a more smoother look. It's a beautiful car....I'll stick with an old buick.
Design will always be subjective but I think you should reserve judgement until you sit inside a Lucid Air. The design inside feels cohesive and complimentary to the exterior.

No one knows what the future holds and I'm certain buyers of the Lucid Air have a more optimistic view.
Maybe just me , to me the exterior does not look like a luxury car (150+k) . It’s more like a better looking compact car (better version of model 3). When You see a EQS , You can tell it’s a high end luxury car. The same feel I don’t get when I see Lucid.

What I don't understand is why was your car in the show room where anyone can walk in and sit in your car? Your car should have been washed and ready for you in the service department waiting for your arrival. Even our 2021 Tesla Model Y and our 2023 Model X were washed and ready for us at the time of delivery.
The showroom wasn’t bad. It’s a good way to onboard new customers unfamiliar with the tech. The scuff mark was really the let down as it makes you feel like you’re picking up a rental 😬

They've recently partnered with Aston Martin to supply the electric motors for their vehicles. It sounds very promising!
@@AutoEnthusedTV kind of… Aston Martin makes a small amount and owned by Saudi’s. Aston also has a mountain of debt. LUCID is in the hands of the Saudis. Rawlingson can’t reign in spending. They are losing $550k per car and made fewer cars in Q2 from Q1.
I wish them luck, I don’t want to see a world where only TESLAs own the road. However, Rawlingson doesn’t know how to lead an organization. If the Saudis don’t fund them again, they will go bankrupt. LUCID has 4,000+ of unsold inventory which is 293 days of inventory compared to sales.
LUCID is a super high risk investment. I don’t see how they survive. Their CAPEX makes no sense. LUCID has been a long time and demand is dwindling when EV sales are sky rocketing. There is too much competition at this price point and no demand.
