Here's a simple hack for a souffle-style egg in the microwave. Just add 1 tablespoon double cream to one egg, whisk it up in a jug, spritz a microwave-safe container with cooking spray, pour the egg mixture into the dish and bung it into the microwave for 3-4 minutes, depending on your microwave. As it cooks, it will rise to double or even triple the height of the liquid.
*Optional:* Serve on a toasted English muffin with melted cheese for the fluffiest breakfast sandwich you've ever tasted.
The videos with Mrs. Barry are some of the best. She is so cute, and her reactions/facial expressions are priceless. She is such a good sport! LOL
Deary me, where did these "hacks" come from?! I would have to guess 5-minute crafts, because 90% of their content is completely faked and never has the slightest chance of working...
For the pizza, put the water in the bottom of the pan, not on top of the pizza 😂

I always enjoy when Mrs. B joins you in the kitchen. You have wonderful chemistry.that makes the video a pleasure to watch regardless of whether the recipe/gadget/hack works or not.
I've seen Tasty doing a lot of these hacks and seriously, they're all cheats. Everything Tasty does is fake. It doesn't work and those Gifs and brief videos cheat to make it appear like they work.
But then it's awesome to see you and Mrs barry try them out :D Even if they fail, it's great entertainment and you guys are super honest and genuine! Social media need more people like you guys

I feel like if you kept the popcorn moving, like shaking the pan, it obviously wouldn’t burn but the heat would still pop the corn 🤔😂.
Yes, when I was a child my grandmother used to pop the popcorn in a pot with a lid all the time. She would stand there and shake/slide the pot back and forth across the stove eye until the popping slowed down and then she took it off before it completely stopped. If you just let it sit there, it will burn.
The sugar will burn really fast

eggs in the microwave do work, but as they said, "Our microwave is 800" yeah, that's gonna increase the time and screw it up a bit... you can make scrambled eggs or over medium eggs in one too... the over medium is the most egg flavored egg you'll ever have... no butter or oil...

A hack is supposed to make something easier with less effort or less specific appliances - I honestly don't understand how semi-cooking a crepe on the other side of the pan does this.

They did it wrong, you're supposed to heat the pan then dip it in the batter
For the popcorn one try it again with the popcorn popped, and keep it moving when you pop it and when you pour the caramel in. I make popcorn for a living and if it isnt constantly moving while cooking it burns. Sugar too is the same way.

First few seconds in and I have to say it, you two are totally relationship goals.
I love the chemistry that you two have. Love these videos. A lot of hacks online are missing so much information that it makes things virtually impossible for the normal people.
The pizza hack might not have worked for frozen, but it definitely works when you get a large pie delivered and have leftover slices. I used to microwave my leftovers and they’d get hot, but the crust would be soggy (edible, but nowhere near as awesome as when it was fresh.) Heating ‘em up on a skillet over medium heat revives the crust to get a nice crispy underside and the steam from the lid melts the cheese and warms the toppings so it’s just as tasty as the night before. No oil or water needed.
This video is a hot mess and I love it! Mrs Barry seems so much more comfortable in front of the camera as well. One of my favorites yet.
Your vids are my go-to ones for cheering me up when I'm feeling down. I suffer from frequent depression, and watching these takes me out my head a bit cos they're so cheerful. You guys are so funny! Thanks Mr and Mrs B ❤️
About the caramel popcorn. I usually toss my kernels in oil, heat them in a small/medium pan. as soon as I hear the first pop I toss them into the bigger pot with the caramel. Shake and stir wearing a glove (because of sugar splatter) and then let it pop on a medium high setting.

Why they couldn’t cook it on the inside of the pan like they’re supposed to I couldn’t fathom! That’s how people cook crepes? Why would you need a hack for that, it’s already easy!

I do scrambled egg in the microwave. Surprisingly tastes nice. Beat your eggs and microwave for a minute, then stir and then another minute, stir and keep repeating until done, season to taste half way through.
That’s how my family has always made scrambled egg! It’s ridiculous hard to clean from a pot and it’s never cooked as well as in the microwave in my opinion!
Just pop the popcorn first and pour the caramel over them.
Also, probably cheaper to make the caramel yourself than melting Werther's ...

I don’t know about the banana in the oven but 30 seconds in the microwave should do it. It works for me

I think the difference between having Mrs Barry in the kitchen with Barry as aspposed to him being alone is that the kitchen stays cleaner and that the videos become ten times funnier

The homemade popcorn one: well what can I say.... proper way to make REGULAR salted popcorn, is you put in the corn to cover the bottom 1 grain high, then add a little bit of sunflower oil, so that it is not even completely covered. Cover the pan up and when the popping starts to decrease in frequency, you empty the pan, or the popped grains will start to burn.
So with that in mind.... there was WAAAAAAY too much caramel etc in the pan. and took way to long.
On this episode, Barry burns himself again.
I laughed sooo much with this one! Especially at the end there. Too funny!

I remember when you could buy microwavable carmel🍿. You'd pop the corn, then put the provided carmel in the bag, shake it and let it sit for a few minutes. It worked fairly well.

The pizza one i think you were supposed to defrost the pizza first

No need to defrost. Cut it in half.
Make sure the pan is very hot.
Put the pizza in.
Tilt it (edge of the pan must be the part on fire) and put the water on the low edge of the pan making sure the water isn't on the pizza. Close it immediately. tilt until there's no more water. Put it upright wait for another minute. And you're done.
The steam will be very hot and will defrost it and melt the cheese.
Whole thing lasts around 3 mins.
@@heartears I think it only works with frozen pre cooked pizzas. Not raw dough frozen pizzas.

I lived in a Extended Stay motel for a while, and we would microwave the frozen pizza first to cook it and than put it in the pan to crisp the crust because we had no oven. Loving the video with Mrs. Barry :)

To make easy Carmel corn..... in a pan mix 1 to1 butter and brown sugar melt till bubbly pour over popcorn and mix well. Tastes wonderful!

I've heard of using the pizza hack to warm up leftover pizza, but never cooking a frozen pizza completely... My suggestion would be to try that one again - either with a frozen pizza or leftovers - but put the water along the side instead of actually on the pizza itself
