I love the idea behind Veronica. He couldn't make armor the hulk couldn't destroy, so he made a suit made of sacrificial parts and a floating armory to continuously replenish damaged bits.
Yeah unfortunately the concept didn't return for Hulkbuster 2.0, or maybe Veronica was only for Tony's use.

I never noticed before but at 3:42 you can see (and hear) Hulk starting to turn back. His muscles shrink a bit, his eyes turn brown, you can hear the cracking noises of flesh and bone. He starts looking around and realizes what he's done... then sees the guns pointed at him and snaps back into battle mode before getting tranquilized via haymaker.
those werent crackling of flesh and bone lol. they were bricks falling from when he moved. his muscles also didnt shrink, he just stopped yelling and he lowered his arms which makes his traps not stick up which makes his muscles seems smaller XD

There were casualties, just that it wasn't shown in this film. It was kind of shown in Civil War.
Tonys job isn't to eliminate civilian casualties it is to minimise them and In this case the way to do that is punching the Hulk like a lot

Probably the best Hulk has ever looked on screen. The CGI is absolutely unbelievable. How this wasn't nominated for an Oscar is ridiculous. I honestly think it could be compared to Thanos. Hulk also somehow looks like a cross between Rufallo, Ferrigno and the classic comic book style. Andy Serkis helped with the Mocap in this film and it definitely shows. Notice how Hulk never 'twins' i.e. no symmetry. He always slightly off angle (even his face) giving that demented air about him.

Okay but can we appreciate the ingenious features Tony implemented into the Hulkbuster armor?
I mean, a mechanism in the arm that can trap the Hulk to take him out of inhabited areas. And a pod that can deploy spare parts in the middle of a fight. That last one is really cool because it shows that Tony is smart enough to know that instead of making a “invulnerable” suit that Hulk would just tear through, he created a design that could be easily repairable mid-fight to fix that issue. All of them are such brilliant ideas.

I really like the detail that Banner helped design this suit. The little guy knows how the big guy do, and built countermeasures. Things like the replacable limbs, the device that traps Hulk's hand, or whatever gas Tony was spraying Hulk with (probably a sedative) are likely Banner's ideas, based on his knowledge of how Hulk thinks and fights.

He was lucky that he was able to scan an entire building that was completely empty for some reason (plot armor, because if Iron Man loses, then no one stops Hulk for awhile and he starts killing large amounts of people). He used that building to his advantage by smashing Hulk through all those floors and then having it collapse on top of both of them. Hulk gets up first, and is getting angry again. If Hulk didn't calm down after taking a moment and seeing all those injured civilians, he would have already been angry again and continued rampaging, Iron Man would've lost.

I love how well this shows Hulks resilience and power. Realistically, nobody else had any chance of stopping him except MAYBE Thor. Tony had a suit designed specifically for bringing down the Hulk and still nearly failed. He had to beat on hulk for four minutes and then drop a skyscraper on him before it slowed Hulk down enough to knock him out.

It’s fun to think how incredibly advanced even Tony’s normal suits were at this point. Compared to what he had in Iron Man 1, it makes Obadiah Stane’s War Monger look like a cheap used car. All 3 of the Iron Man movies had Tony struggling with keeping his suits fully charged. But by Ultron he was using stuff like the Hulkbuster no problem.

Few things like Brutasha being a thing which many fans didn’t like it including myself, as well Ultron being underutilized.

I missed the small detail of tony shooting extra missiles to take out the unfinished building's outer supports so that it doesn't collapse outward and cause more damage. he still tried to contain it all within the rough footprint of the building.

I really wish they could have shown a few more parts getting replaced on the hulkbuster throughout this scene. Hulk rips a breastplate off, another attaches on. Shoulder pad crushed, discharged and replaced. Leg gets torn off, here comes another. All in relatively quick succession. Hulk finally destroys the satellite thing and the scene continues.

I don't understand, why getting Banner out of town wasn't literally the first thing he tried after talking failed.
There were civilians everywhere and Tony starts throwing the Hulk around and shooting lasers.

It's also kinda funny that people blame Tony for not being able to predict that Ultron would become evil, but absolutely everyone in both movies and the fandom completely forgot that the scene above happens because Wanda knowingly and intentionally unleashes Hulk on innocent people. She essentially murders a bunch of innocents with Hulks hands, but NO ONE remembers that.
