If at some parts of the video the colors seem a little bit washed out, it's because sony vegas pro 15 couldn't get the HDR metadata.
I will remake this video when i've got sony vegas pro 17 with HDR support.

I feel you, my question and probably the budgets question was do you have to see that everytime then. Not that once is enough but the movie won't be worse if we don't emphasize the suit transformation in grand detail everytime. The point was made, and they do other cool things with it once it's on or breaking apart too. It'd be some Sailor Moon shit if they stopped and took a sec to show the suit up in that way everytime. Pick and choose when, especially with how many times they do it with various characters in dozens of movies

Yeah I think the endgame version was definitely a sizeable improvement over the first movie but I saw a comment a while ago that he didn’t like the nanotech because it felt less grounded and too magical.

What's so unique about Tony's suits is how people fail to realize that each was an improvement on his combat capabilities. If Tony had the MK 85 during any other movie other than endgame, he would be able to solo not only the villains but could've single-handedly win both of the civil war movies. That's what I love. The constant progression that improves as time goes on until his abilities could rival that of multiple gods, superhumans, and aliens.

@UltraIronicMan interesting take, can see how you get there but I don't think its a plot issue, totally different situations, circumstances and opponents. Also the way Thanos talks to Tony comes from a place of intellectual respect. Personally, I loved the suits from Iron Man 1 and 2, as well as Avengers, but especially Iron Man 1. Every suit is complicated, but it felt like you could see every moving part, hear every click and lock, and everything had a place in the design. Later movies, the suits were so overcomplicated that they felt more like Thor's magic or alien tech.

I hear ya I hear ya, and agree, his best suit ups are early on besides Infinity War with the Hoodie pull, I love that shit. Hahaha but the models back then were pieces like that they had to come together on em the way they did, but as the MCU and the world they was building was expanding it had to evolve with and they did a great job of showing you how it did, and how much he worked to improve the suits and just the other tech around him and the team. Once they knew of nanotechnology then ya it had to go that way cause Tony would absolutely use that. And for me still had they cool suit moments but that wasn't the stop and awe at this scene they needed to have in these movies as much. Took time and budget away from other things. And also Downey got older and didn't wanna wear as much of the suit like that anymore if you could do a lot with in cgi, do it.

I loved how the suit up scenes show how dedicated stark is to achieve perfection. Iron man was an impossible project he could’ve stopped there but he constantly pushed himself and made the suit practically perfect. If you compare the automatic suit up from the first and the last movies you can see how hardworking stark was and how passionate he was about his craft. Truly one of the most iconic parts of MCU are iron man’s suit up scenes.

He died as Iron Man in 2023, which means he had 15 years to be Iron Man, although he probably wasn't very active for at least 5 of them (not sure how much time he took off after Iron Man 3), so it was more like 10 years.
