I don’t know man, to me the limited looks like a muscular RAV4. If I were to buy one I would definitely go TRD OR.. would love the Pro but can’t justify the price difference, probably at least $10k, especially if I never off road with it. I just want a rugged looking SUV I guess.

love the look but they made it 4inches longer and 2inches wider and put a 4 cylinder turbo in it to pull the big beast around, theres a lot of strain on a small displacement engine like that-time will tell on the longevity of the motor

Agreed, people needa be real and know that the limited trim is not going to be off roading same for the Tacoma limited. And from all the videos the cabin looks super dark and claustrophobic. The 5th gen at least is pretty open and bright. It's Lexus twin has a piano roof, so obviously it was possible, but Toyota seems intent on going down the GM route of badge engineering. 4Runner, GX, Land cruiser. Now just 3 flavors of the same vehicle.

As the 4Runner is 4.7" longer and likely wider too, it will weigh even more. The 4cyl TT motor may only keep up with this new larger 4Runner. But we will have to wait for test drives to see if it can have a spring in its step vs being a bit slow.

Love the blue color. Love the electric tailgate! Even the chrome trim. I usually go with the blackout version. But they failed on the visors. Still using the tiny slide which does nothing. Need to go with the full visor version slide. And I bet they still have the navigation volume separate from the radio volume. It’s to much of a hassle and distracting to go into settings every time you need to change the navigation volume.

4 cylinders?. Horsepower is not good. Only 275 HP
The hybrid assist engine is the better choice, but what cost? Higher cost?
If I am not wrong, if a company built something in a few hundred, the cost per unit is high, if the company built something in thousands, the cost per unit is low, so why are the Hybrid Assist engine vehicles in the Toyota industry so high in price ?
All 4 runners should have 4 cylinder hybrid assists, no other way.
    Issues with 6Gen :
The interior is dark, and the ceiling is dark too. Why does Toyota engineer things that all - Americans want dark interior? Why do we not have a light color option such as a beige or ivory?
It's an off-roader if it is ? A limited interior is a truck base. This is not rock crawling , it's an SUV, not a Jeep, the interior should be fancy, not like a tank shape. This interior should be cool looking, not military looking.
The gearshift sucks, and the passenger support handle next to the gearshift is a poor idea. Check other vehicles, you can find so much better options.
If I love 4runner, it does not mean you can add shit, and you will like something. Please do not force me to love something which sucks.
The ceiling is pretty low. This should be a little greater the size of the cabin.
So the rear trunk window does not have a wiper ? why?

The whole reason Toyota moved over N-TNG is that they want to make a modular design where they can exchange parts, which means that this could help with lower prices. But, this is not helping consumer . Every Toyota designed in 2 years is $10K higher.
    Thanks

I’ll curb my excitement until I see prices for each trim level and then again after seeing dealer markups. The nitrogen filled tires dealerships are adding here in NC for 2k…no thanks.

Everyone gonna want one, which means you're gonna have to pay over msrp, if you even get your hands on one.... I wanna wait a year or 2, but don't think I would be able to hold out that long.

With the outrageous prices Toyota has gone with on the new Tocoma, no one cares anymore about these.

    Easy 80k plus 20k mark-up.😂

No way the Limited will be 80k. The LC first edition is $77k and here in the SF Bay Area dealers are only marking them up by $5k. Now we are not in the pandemic anymore where people have money to spend, inflation is real. High interest rate is real.

The only thing i dont like is the “4runner” on the back

I dont like it. I have owned previous generations of the 4runner. I feel like the 8 speed transmission is only there to make up for the pathetic 2.4 L inline 4. I dont care if it is turbo charged. 2.4L is not enough to move such a heavy SUV. Also, the tail lights are ugly to me and the added body lines around the wheel wells look like a classic case of tring to make somthing look updated whith out doing any thing. I'll stick with the 2016 model thank you.
