You know something was embargoed when Doug breaks his upload schedule
oh wow, thats so real
7:15pm Pacific Time and all the car channels released their 4Runner videos.
XO overland posted with Toyota
Yeah I got 5 or 6 different notifications at once for alllll the car review channels 😂
Embargo didn't apply to forbes tho
The issue of the 4-cylinders is not power. 4Runner's people do not care about power. They care if that engine can arrive to 300K miles without major interventions.
I'm sure it will be fine
Nope. Only reason to have a 4 cyl turbo on a truck is emissions.
Toyota’s 4 cylinders have arrived to over 500k miles with no major interventions. It’ll be fine.
Am I the only one wondering if it's big guy friendly 3rd gen definitely wasn't I'm 64 and barley can drive it had to lean seat way back
@@pringledinglefringle8824 doug demuro is 6 foot 5 on a good day
I have a 2007 with 265k miles on it. No real issues, just the usual stuff you have to replace. Love it, I want to take it 400k
The 1994 one has 433k miles on it.
About to hit 300k by the end of the month on my 06 sport! Pulling about 5k pound on my trailer daily with no issues
Got my 07 to 360K with absolutely no problems, and I mean nothing. Wanted to take it to 500K and surely it would have had no problem doing so if I wasn't hit head-on and totaled back in 2019.
1999 4Runner 513,000 miles.
Same here! Going to run it as long as I can!
Doug so wealthy he don’t even use a phone case 😫
I've never had a phone case... but I also take care of my stuff. Never had phone insurance either. If I drop and break my phone and have to buy a new one, I will still have saved thousands of dollars in the long run.
"I'm gonna take you on the most thorough tour yet of the new 4Runner"
Doug posted this ONE MINUTE after it was unveiled. It's the ONLY tour of the new 4Runner
I watched Extra Throttle House before Doug
About 15 videos of this vehicle popped up within a 5 minute span. Must have been a clause Toyota set when they allowed everyone to review it.
FINALLY.. & it’ looks amazing .. 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It’s the greatest review of the new 4runner of all time so far.
@@natekenny7106it was an embargo, brands do it all the time.
2014 4Runner owner here. As of today, I have 326k miles on it and never had a single issue with it, other than the door lock actuators and the air blower. Changed the suspension and the ball bearings once after 250k, so it’s nice and lifted. Bulletproof doesn’t even start to describe this truck.
Have a 2016 4Runner and the only thing I’ve had to do is normal maintenance, I just replaced the Panasonic battery this year after 8 years. Bulletproof indeed
@@uuuu260 Lucky for you with the actuators. I had to replace the driver side one twice and the rest once. Maybe they’ve addressed the issue with it already for yours.
@@fesztyIt is possible that it was fixed but I haven’t driven it as much as you have so it could be an issue in the future but for now I am enjoying the hassle free maintenance
Just appraised a 4.0 Prerunner Tacoma with over 400K miles. No major mechanical issues. Only cosmetic. Live and die by Toyota/lexus..
@@uuuu260 I asked them to turn off the auto-lock and I haven’t had the problem since.
Thank you Doug for making this video. You posted it on the morning of my birthday. I love the 4runner!
Great review! Every other next-gen 4Runner review I’ve watched has left me asking more questions, but you were really thorough! The only thing you didn’t mention in the second row was that you can recline them to give you a little extra headroom. Nice job.
Oh how I've missed outdoor reviews! I can see the car so much better and the sound doesn't suck!
Yet the truck is nearly the same color as the mud 😂
Also maybe you can hear the apes again.
The "concrete bunker" sound absolutely sucks... And I personally hate the aesthetic? I understand why he prefers the 'controlled environment' for filming, but IMO it doesn't 'present well'...
Not worth the control imo, I don't watch nearly as many random reviews anymore because they are less enjoyable. He should build a custom location for filming where he has the control but also better lighting and acoustics. His dungeon is depressing and I can't believe someone as cool as @DougDeMuro would film there.
@justinshankle it's at his office for cars and bids, he did a tour of it on the cars and bids channel. He could absolutely put up sound deadening and better lights, but doug has never been about high production value. It's funny though, where he films by far has the worst acoustics of the entire office space
The black fender flares make it look like it has enormous empty wheel wells.
They would look good wrapped to match the body color. I bet it would look very wide.
It gives it a raised look. They flared the fenders and offset the color against the body, NEAT!
I agree, but in person it looks good.
Piano black will be a bad choice
I usually hate fender flares that aren’t color matched, looking at you Subaru, but I actually think it works well here.
Love your videos bro! You do a job I’d love to find! Was most interested in this for the price and 3rd row option. This and Tacoma keep some of the best resale values over time than most other brands and even other Toyota models. Money always well spent!
As a Jeep Wrangler owner, I really love how much competition and options are entering the space. The Wrangler JL, Bronco, and now this 4Runner are really pushing the offroad DDs to the next level.
aint no damn way you'll be able to find these under 70k. The markup on these is gonna be nuts, 4runners already hold their value real well and I would imagine people are gonna be pretty excited by this redesign.
Yeah. I hope you're wrong. But listening to all of the "improvements," I agree ... the tech alone, coupled with the TRD Pro trim is going to be EXPENSIVE. Might be worth just getting a 5th Gen before they're all gone.
It's sad that dealerships always do markups. Although we bought a 2023 highlander xse for sticker price, and then this year in January a 2024 Tundra platinum for $7000 off the original Sticker, the dealership had, cause it took some negotiating. But I kid you not, both times we drove each vehicle out the same day we purchased. This was my experience with Lia Toyota in Colonie NY
Toyota Bobby Rahal in Mechanicsburg, PA sells at MSRP. Probably a long waitlist.
They are nice but we love our 5th gens
That's what everyone said for the new Tacomas. Look now. They are being discounted.
Glad to see that it’s still made in Japan
I was gonna say the same thing! If Toyota is making all their trucks in Japan, I might need to turn my attention WAY more to Toyota 🧐
@@corey9313Nothing has changed. Tundra made in TX, taco Mexico, 4r Japan.
@@corey9313 nah stick to american cars. Car repairs shop needs to stay in business
@@Gilvids my american toyota has been running strong since 07, cope and seethe
Either USA or Japan are A-OK for me. With the super weak Yen, it might be cheaper to make in Japan.
I've got a 2023 4 Runner and a new Sequoia. Love them both in their own ways. But something tells me the 4 Runner is going to be the one I still have at 300K miles. Just old school tech that simply works. Although, it's never found a gas station it didn't like. :)
Doug reminds me of a young Robert Deniro doing a bad Quentin Tarantino impression for some reason.
This! I like the subject matter of his videos, but his presentation style is WAY too extra.
I was thinking a mix of screetch from saved by the bell and Sheldon from big bag theory. I had to just read the captions.
Reminds me of Matthew Perry
W comment.
Everyone who commented in this thread is correct, and that is hilarious! 😂 All of the above.
The markups I'm sure will be crazy and you will still see these EVERYWHERE. Probably the most anticipated vehicle in 10 years..
@@AR_119 Here in Vegas they do markups whenever the rest of the car brands are doing them, so I'd love to find one that doesn't. I've been thinking of making the move from Jeep to a 4r or LC, but my Jeep is still low miles so I have some time to vet the new offerings and maybe wait out the hype markup.
@@AR_119All the dealers I see have huge mark ups. That’s why I didn’t buy a fifth gen. So glad I waited.
I refuse to pay over sticker. They just won’t get my money.
"Toyota does not do markups" meanwhile Toyota dealers in south Florida 😂😂🤑
I actually think demand will slip. People can’t afford a $60K SUV and they didn’t improve on the issues most of us wanted and took away features most of us liked. I’ll be hanging on to mine and when the time comes I’ll probably just trade it for another lower mileage 5th gen.
Lol living in a second world country where it's your own fault you let the dealership mafia gain enough power that they're allowed to markup vehicles above RRP
I like that this model pays tribute to old 4Runners with the curved rear windows. Neat quirk.
It's almost like Doug mentioned the connection to the old 4Runners. Good job genius!
@@floresaza253Um....he did not say he didn't? 😂 He was reiterating a point Doug made, tough guy.
@@fortheloveofnoise9298fight fight fight
Looks like the exterra due to those windows being small. Still looks great.
Too bad it doesn’t pay homage to the previous generations’ (1-3 at least) clean looks. 🤮
It gives me 4th gen vibes and The reason we like the 4runner is that it's been the same reliable simple tech for so long now hope this new platform doesn't disappoint
I just hate how every new cars infotainment system is just a TV screen stuck on the dash like an after thought. Older infotainment systems built into the dash were so much better..
Agreed, it's incredibly lazy and does not look good at all. I think at first companies started doing this so they could offer different screen sizes without completely redesigning the dash, but that practice seems to have fallen off in recent years so there's absolutely no excuse for not integrating the better.
Instrument clusters are now designed like this to help keep your eyes on the road.
@@thegreenpickel the instrument cluster is not the same thing as the infotainment screen though.
I haven’t really warmed up to these screens.
yes true
This is a special video since Doug is not wearing shorts.
Looks like he is only wearing one tshirt as well.
Doug - The power and performance of the drivetrain are NOT the issue with any of Toyota's new lineup. Its the lack of simplicity and question of reliability. Enthusiasts want to be able to fix their car on the side of the road, not be forced to go to a dealer. I get offering these i4/hybrid drivetrains, but not even having the option of a NA V6 (or V8 in the Tundra) is the difference between multiple people I know choosing American despite being big Toyota fans.
This guys comment should be sent to Toyota. We don’t want or need bells and whistles. Give me a V6 and two diff lockers.
Absolutely. Give people an option and charge enough for any fleet average impacts.
How is American any better? More 4 cylinder turbos?
Yeah. This looks pretty bad. But hey! If it’ll drive down the price of 2024 models I’m all in!
So you know multiple fools
This is really an in depth analyses i have ever seen of the 4runner
Loveed when he pointed out the curved rear glass on the trunk. This is heritage retro throwback to the 80s and early 90s 4Runners and it looks AMAZING, reminds me of safari trucks
Dude, the way you feel about the camo seats is how we felt in the 90s about the confetti seats. Love it now
You made an excellent point about where Toyota is heading. They have four line ups with nearly identical pricing and features with the same badge and different model names. I can’t wait to hear my local dealership try to sell me all four cars 🤣🤣🤣
Thats how Toyota works in almost every region except the US. In South America, the Prado and the 4runner have always been available and they both sell pretty well. It wont be an issue for them
At 10000k over msrp
I just hope Toyota models not going downhill.
I love the 85 4Runner with the convertible top but the LC was the original roofless yota. Maybe down the line they'll make the new LC with removable top, maybe even two door to complete with jeep and ferd. That body style suits it way better than the runner.
Excited to see these on the road, but super glad I've got my 5th gen instead
I was worried about getting envious watching the first major review, but the exact opposite has happened
happier than ever with what I've got
Same for me.
@@tomjarfas4707it doesn't do any better than the v6 ? Lol. It has more horsepower, more torque, better fuel economy and a far better transmission.
@@tomjarfas4707the 2023 one also is slightly cheaper than the 2024 one.
They killed it. They don't understand their own fanbase and market. These will be scrapped or engine swapped before 100k miles if you tow with them. They only did this for emissions standards. We will not pay more for lesser products. The consumer is the one who pays the price in this situation.
Doug, the type of guy to skip over the fact you get a, 2,400 WATT!!! Outlet on the back of the front console. Enough to power a microwave or smaller ac unit

Doug’s the type of guy to love the 4 Runner and buy a Sequoia
Dead meme. Stupid comment. Make millions happy and keep your inane comments to yourself. You aren’t relevant.
😂😂
I mean.. he needs the extra two cylinders
i am pretty sure he would 100% lean to the 4runner if he could, but it seems like passenger room is a high priority for him which is understandable.
I would sell the Sequioa and keep this one!
2014 4Runner owner with 410k miles original engine and trans. Changed oil every 3k and trans fluid drain and fill done every year. This new one with the 4cyl turbo won’t last long and it will have problems similar to the ones put in Tacoma/Tundra.
There needs to be a national standard on how big infotainment screens can be.
Soon people will be driving around with 65” inch screens in the their cars 😂
I love that there are still buttons and not a sea of screens. I’m old school and I like it to be muscle memory.
I also like that all the knobs and buttons are big enough to use them with gloves.
Whoever thought no buttons and knobs was a good idea is a moron. Case in point is my wife’s crap Volvo infotainment screen that breaks all the time
I don't mind screens, so long as main and important functions aren't integrated into them. Like in new BMW's, where to change the distance you're following the car in front of you, you have to go into a separate menu. That's not just dumb but it's also dangerous.
Same here. I've been looking at the new Lexus GX but now seeing the new 4Runner, I'm convinced that I will always be a 4Runner guy. This is still true to its blood.
I like the current gen better.

It’s not bad but the 5th Gen is still looking great, and it’s been tested overtime. The 5th Gen Premium is all you need like the SR5. This new gen seems to have a lot more plastic and it remains to be seen if it will have electric problems . But good to know you got a review on actual video

Doug,
I sometimes am critical of your videos. But…when you do your honest and in depth reviews I always react the same way, he does the best all around reviews. So thanks for being true to your strengths. And I’m with you, those camouflage seats should be options, they may be a deal breaker for some…
Thank you Doug! I was so excited for this!!!
Hey Doug, you should show a little video clip of the stabilizer bar actually disconnecting and also the video view so we could see what that all looks like. Keep up the cues and F’s.
Doug the type of guy to fart in the toilet, close the lid, and flush
Predicted the interior before even watching, big knobs! Big screens! Big shifter! Big storage compartments!
Big price. Big repair bill. Big headache
Huge screen is hideous! It will look like crap after a few scratches and will cost a fortune to replace when it fails right after the warranty expires. Let's not forget the hybrid turbo 4 banger that won't last as long as NA engine and the rear cargo area you lose with the battery under the cargo area floor.
If you like big knobs then you should meet my buddy Joe!
That’s because the Japanese know how Americans are a bit slow and can’t see very well and they need all the help they can get with those obnoxiously huge screens and huge knobs. 🤪😆
You really went out on a limb there
Just took delivery of my 2023 TRD OR. So far I love it. It’s got no sunroof, no heated seats, but all the trail stuff for wheeling. Can’t wait to test it all out. Had two Third Gen’s so decided to treat myself
I just got a 23 Tacoma TRD pro in January Looking forward to never having to visit a dealership again!
@@johnhein4851 oh I’ll be going to the dealership for certain things. I plan on taking it in a couple times for service so that I can build a relationship with one. Toyotas are always barebones asf when it comes to interior.
I don’t do off-road at all but this 4Runner is really amazing and useful. I love all the storage area, the lights, the lift up glass, etc. Is there any alternative like this but not necessarily off-roady? Or the functions they design for the off roading is just too darn useful for everyone 😂
I picked up a new 2023 Limited last fall. I love it. Not sure I see enough here to jump from 5th generation to 6th generation. I expect my 5th generation to last a long time.

As always great informative and detailed videos! Thanks.
People didn't want the 6 cylinder in the tundra and they aren't going to want a four cylinder turbo in the 4runner.
That turbo 4cyl is actually really good and responsive. The turbo lag is not noticeable
I love that they brought back the rear glass that wraps up into the roof from the first and second gen! That's so freaking cool man!
Looks good but I’m afraid it could break if I put something on top😮
@@Nick-mb7ymDo you find yourself frequently breaking sunroofs? Glass isn’t structural on an automobile (and least I can’t think of any instance that it would be structural offhand).
I like how you can see in the interior shots it's just curved on the outside. The interior window still is "normal" so it's like the back glass on my Jeep Renegade. Looks like you can see for miles only to actually have this tiny little slot.
I’m gonna hang onto my 5th gen for now until I see one of these 200k miles reliably. 😎

The 4Runner car is 9/10.

Turbo worries me, but i guess time will tell
You’ll see these with swaps in 10yrs
I agree.. the car is great. But the mechanics in it.. not so much. Those 4 cylinder engines with turbo will be problematic right around the 100k miles mark.
@@MrXhandsome you do know Toyota/Lexus has had turbos in their cars for a long time right?? like with 0 issues?? are you just concern trolling for the sake of it or something i dont understand... hopefully just ignorance?
@@iloveanime1313 the guy ain’t trolling bro. Turbos are not at the top of the reliability list in respect to engine tech. A lot of manufacturers are switching to turbos in our favorite car/suv designs. So they don’t have a long track record yet. Skepticism is definitely justified.
Great video, i am really surprised by the contour of the top of the windshield. I instantly thought it looks like the 4th gen roundedness. I think with the 5th gen being more squared up looked better. Still a nice upgrade.
I've been looking forward to this new generation for a long time but I'm concerned about the motor. It seems to deliver the power and torque but I'm looking at longevity. I'll definitely sit out the first year since that's where most of the bugs are in a new gen vehicle. I wonder what the it weights and MPG, now that it has a 4cyl turbo ?
Hey doug make sure you don't sit upright in the driver's seat so we can see if they have addressed the lack of head room that the previous 4runner had im 6'4" and barely can even sit in it

Engine by Yamaha?
@eggsinsideme @eggsinsideme that is the biggest bs I've ever heard. As a Toyota fan boy with A LOT of heavy knowledge of Toyotas history and engineering, I can laugh at your forum bs knowledge. Old school Toyota engines with a "G" letter in the engine code are Yamaha engineered heads. Yamaha tuned the V10 in the LFA and the V8 heads in the F cars. They didn't make engines for Toyota and they for damn sure didn't have anything to do with the current crop of Turbo engines. Get out of here with this misinformation.
My father owns a 4th gen 4Runner SR5 limited and at 140k it’s great and took it off road and love it ! And love the hidden compartments on the truck too 4Runners have been around forever and it’s still hold the value just stay on top of the maintenance and care and can last you a lifetime thank you for sharing this video for those who are interested in the new 2025 4Runner
4th Gen 4Runner SR5 actually looked better than 2025 4Runner.
4th gens are a totally different vehicle from the 5th and 6th gens. Apples and oranges. It's a disgrace to even see the 4runner label on these things.
The rear household plug in is for portable refrigerators for overlander types.
It's a great looking new generation. Hopefully we'll learn more about the suspension. I was hoping for some changes in that area too. I guess we'll find out with the driving test.

Still looks like a refreshed 4th gen IMO. I like our 5th Gen better. Especially with some off-roading mods and a rack
Doug, I think you and we all know these facts:
Toyotas North American division loves selling restyled versions of global products because Americans like “extreme” and “fun” styling on their cars. The 4Runner, at least since the 2nd or 3rd generation, has always been a Tacoma/fun/americanized, slightly decongested version of the Land Cruiser Prado and that’s still what it is.
The rest of the world doesn’t like camo seats and tough looking AC vent knobs, they just want a Toyota suv that is off road capable, because it’s a tool used for a purpose. We in the US like to dream we’re on a tough mission in Africa when we’re really just car camping after a shopping spree at Walmart.
As in cases with many North American specific products, the 4Runner is a bit of a meme of itself.
That being said, I love my 5th gen SR5, it’s similar to a Prado GX/TX without the BS.
The Land Cruiser J250 (Prado) is for the enthusiasts who love global products and want a semi-lux off road SUV, and the Lexus is the full luxury version, as with the J300 and LX.
The line up in my eyes is like this:
1. Hilux and Fortuner at the bottom. Cheap and utilitarian/meant for third world markets.
2. Tacoma - road focused light duty truck for NA market
3. 4Runner - a fun NA market family off road SUV
4. Land Cruiser (Prado) - global market sibling to 4Runner without the gimmicks. Popular in Eastern Europe, Africa, and Australia as a family off roader or as a fleet vehicle for organizations that need a basic off roader that is comfortable
5. Lexus GX - mid size off road luxury suv based on light duty Land Cruiser Prado
6. Land Cruiser - large off road 7/8 passenger SUV used for commercial applications and by Eastern European gangsters and Arabs who love to off road in the sand dunes
7. Lexus LX - the most expensive Lexus based on the full size Land Cruiser for wealthy suburban moms to commute to their boutiques.
8. Tundra and Sequoia- because Toyota wants to compete with the suburban and expedition
An off-roader for everyone, it seems!
I love that after all these years you still use your old range rover in your logo!
Makes me want a 5th gen even more
Absolutely.

@brandoncook67, In all honesty the 5th Gen is overrated. This 6th Gen is by far a more attractive vehicle in every conceivable aspect. Firstly, it's faster and much more fuel efficient. The 5th Gen had a Poor gas mileage of 15mpg combined and it was slow.

Me
This is my current dream vehicle. If I was looking to buy a new vehicle and mine was not already paid off and very reliable. I would be at a Toyota dealership test driving these things. It’s basically perfect. It can do everything you need. You can go to the grocery store and you can even escape a natural disaster and everything in between a vehicle that you can use for everything life throws at you. That’s the type of vehicle. I want if I’m gonna be spending a lot of money is something that will be good for anything I need damn near.
You really have to appreciate how much passion the designers at Toyota put into their designs.
Toyota is just out here killing it in looks and tech! 4Runner (HEV), Land Cruiser (HEV)/GX550 (HEV?), Sequoia (HEV), Tundra (HEV), Tacoma (HEV), GR 86, GR Corolla, GR Supra, RAV4 Prime (PHEV) , Prius Prime (PHEV). Wow, looks modern, and old at the same time. They did a good job
Soyboy yes man
I like the giant Toyota wording on the dash and the pop out JBL speaker.
good looking suv toyota did a better job redesigning the interior of the 4-runner than the tundra. great review Doug!
HUGE fan of 4Runners here. Very excited about this new model!
Lol. I love how you editorialize the styling of the interior. The wording you used at 13:27 actually made me laugh out loud on the train
Hybrid powertrain + 3rd seating? Anyone know if that’s an option? The battery pack goes under the cargo area.
Doug did you notice how the fog lights are activated? Is there a separate switch for the fog lights?
Looks amazing, but a 4 cylinder turbo is a dealbreaker for me. I understand this is driven by regulations, but of all Toyota models you’d think they’d do anything to retain the proven reliability of an NA V6 in their off-roader
You're right. The Toyota turbo 4's are crude sounding and unrefined. A V-6 option should really have been offered.
One of my favorite things about the 5th Gen is that the engine still sounds like an old school truck. This new engine sound leaf blower on steroids-ish to me at least in the videos I’ve watched
It’s gives Toyota no excuse why they did that when Nissan and Honda still offer V6s that comply with epa regulations
Probably later on
It makes more power and tows 1000 pounds more. That tells you it’s better. Plus the new transmission is a massive improvement.
Turbos are such simple technology. Should last 500k easy. Toyota tortured these things to test for longevity. They said it’s a massive improvement.
Doug the type of guy to sell Toyota’s press 4Runner on Cars & Bids
Well wish donut Media has that ability too
People seem to misunderstand, the 4 cylinder isn’t an issue, Toyota has put out bullet proof ones for years. The issue arises from the hybrid and turbo they tac on. The reliability of turbo hybrids is questionable which Toyota fans are scared about, myself included. But hey, if anyone will break the mold it’ll be toyo.
first time watching this channel. love the bill nye/ alton brown vibes this guy has. perfect for breaking down specs lol. sub and will be watching more!
I’ve been waiting for this moment 🎉
Looks really good. I wish the fenders where matte or satin
it will probably look better ripping them off
Could be just this trim.
They are going to show the scratches big time
Is the rear bench seat not positionable ? It is in my 5th gen and can get legroom for days. EDIT: Oh, I see the roll forward seats preclude that possibility :-/
Do they offer 2nd row captain chairs for the 4runners that are equipped with a 3rd row?
man i love toyota. just got a 2021 tacoma trd pro. gonna have to pick one of these up to add to my toyota collection. ive had a 2006 toyota 4runner since well 2006.
Keep your current 4Runner. It will last forever. This new one won’t.
A Toyota... collection?
Doug the type of guy to do a full ad for Toyota and break every FCC disclosure law for sponsorships that exists, in a single video.
How so?
@@cocobeanz19 he just 'bought' a new Toyota..
Did you mean the FTC? The FCC usually deals with communications channels, like WiFi, Bluetooth, 2.4 Ghz, etc
There a reason it couldnt have the same v6 hybrid on the sequoia and tundra?
I know some people don’t like it but I think it looks sick. I love 4Runners
This solidifies the 5th Gen TRD Pro as a future classic
They will now drop in value. Many will be so happy to buy used ones.
They ain’t gonna drop like you think. Many of us mature people know that 4cyl ain’t gonna last like the 5th Gen 6. No free lunch. To get that kind of power you will sacrifice
@@ryanb8736 I suspect not... These new trucks will take a while to hit dealers. Dealers will mark them up keeping them above even the asking price of even top tier 5th gen vehicles. Then any issues the new truck has will make people gravitate to the 5th gen until finally the market will remain from people wanting low stress 6 cylinder 1 million mile engines.
Especially since the underground color only came out for one year, that will be a collectors 4R I’m sure.
Couple of things, 3rd row seat is available on the current 2024 4runner, but only in the limited trim. This impacts the height of the floor in the storage area, about 4 inches above the non-3rd row 4runners. The new hybrid models clearly has the same design to house the batteries. Not sure how they are going to fit a 3rd row in the hybrids models, storage space will be hugely impacted. The camera system while off-roading is already a feature in the 2024 model as well.
Can you share where in CA the 4Runner got revealed?
I'd like to go and visit the area to do some driving with my truck
I have had many V6 toyotas, have a 2021 TRD-offroad tacoma now. I got to drive a new one today, and i have to say it really isnt that bad.. still not selling mine with the v6 though.
Always the best videos with the best info and the best shots of everything we want to see. 👍🏻👍🏻
Wish they offered the V6 TT from the Tundra
Already preordered the Trailmaster edition. 3rd on the local dealership list behind two Toyota employees. 🤙🔥
Also have a 2022 TRD Pro in Lime Rush. Love it. 🙏
Got debt by chance,😂
@@ljr9365not much. Mostly wife’s student loans, mine got paid off. Got a couple houses.
Sometimes Doug has been a genius for all vehicles in past, but the 4Runner is a huge success for 2025.💯🙌🏻
