Rivals have nothing to talk about but the charges because they're jealous. If I was a Man Utd fan I wouldn't even be talking about the charges, the only thing that would be on my mind would be "how have we spend similar to them yet they're so far ahead?" That's a way bigger and better question to ask because it's within your control, fussing on the charges is like stressing about how your neighbor has a better car than you instead of figuring out how to get a similar calibre car

The dippers like the rags are still living in the past and talk about shirt sales around the world when now it`s only a fraction of a clubs wealth. The kit sponsers take all the money which is why they pay big bucks despite utd selling vastly more shirts than City they get only £10m a season more, peanuts in this day and age. The biggest earner for every club is tv money if the likes of Bournemouth and Fulham had to rely on shirt sales they`d go bust.
Those fake sponsers are on every continent pumping millions in like every big club no different. What sets Manchester City apart is success the only English club to qualify for the cl for a dozen years in the last 4yrs they`ve played in 2 semi finals and 2 finals all money in the bank. Since they became a threat they`ve earned £2.5bn in tv/prize money alone which makes Pep`s spending look thrifty. In the last couple of years City`s turnover has even seen them eclipse utd last years figures were £613m. Their prize pot alone this last season is £300m. Nothing suspicious just the best run club on the planet.

Despite having a reputation as big spenders, City's net spend during Guardiola's reign actually comes in at a massive £357m less than that of United.
A big chunk of that difference is accounted for by the fact that City have had a far greater turnover rate within their squad than United, selling nearly £600m worth of players in the period, compared with just £242m for United.

First of all, City are under investigation for rule breaches pertaining to paying people via sources external to City but still owned and influenced by Sheik Mansour, so we don’t actually know how much has been spent during Pep’s reign.
Secondly, the amount of money that was spent before Pep’s arrival is absolutely relevant. Wealth from the past creates wealth for the future .. nobody can pretend that if Pep spent the same amount as the manager of Aston Villa he’d have anywhere near the same results.
A team that spent £50m last summer after a decade of heavy spending is obviously going to have more success then a team that was underfunded the previous decade but spent £300m last summer.

Being able to spend 50mil+ on 2-3 players every season since the ownership takeover, sometimes more, is what's let them get to where they are. How big a fanbase do you think they have around the world to allow people to believe their fan-driven income is the highest in the world? Hmm?

No its not their fault, its on the owners but if rules were followed some of their players wouldn't have been there to achieve them trophies. Everytime theyve illegally invested funds into the club them funds were used for transfers and improving the infrastructure or paying the players wages etc etc, it is money laundering plain and simple

@@mikesgamingchannel17 no I agree and there will always be that * against this treble for that reason. But it’s also not fair either. Pep has cemented himself as one of the great managers and by fair means or foul this squad of players is one of the best squads. Realistically the British Government would probably stop the FA from really going after City, it’s too embarrassing for the national game and would upset powerful people. So we are where we are. The only way to make football in Europe fair is a salary cap on teams, but then the Petro states would set up an IPL style ‘super league’ and steal all the players.

Why the wait, because it's there to linger and cast any doubts on what they have achieved. Pep has been there 7 years, if you think Man City have outspent everyone during that period is bonkers. To me in that context their achievement is legit. They decide not to talk about the ACTUAL illegal business they do for example over-inflating sponsorships to create false revenue so that they’re able to spend big big money on transfers and wages without FFP being able to immediately punish them.

City behaved in a way that was “not in keeping with the spirit of the rules” however are going to be found NOT GUILTY as these charges are a replication of the UEFA case. They may be imposed a fine which they will of course pay but I can assure you that nothing much will come of this case other than the FA getting a payout & a further tightening of the rules and regulations.

As a United fan, the disappointment isn't with City winning the treble. It's that when City were bang average in FA cup final, we didn't take advantage and lost.
City winning will never take away from us doing it. There's always a 1st, and there's always gonna be someone who does it after. Just like when we were the 1st English UCL winner.

Marvin's points about City being ran well are completely ridiculous. How can you call City a success in every area of football when the reason they are in that position to begin with is due to them cooking their books for the past 15 years. Even the transfer fees can't be taken at face value as its alleged some players got given money from under the table, how many other players had the same done. The academy has been pumped up aswell, absolutely nothing about that club has been organic growth from purely excellent management. Give any club in the league unlimited resources like City have had for over a decade and they can achieve the same.

4:58. I disagree. City are seen this way due to having the best squad in the league for 10 years straight and continuing to add the most money and bring in the best players. Add the best players to the best squad for 10years and you get city. It’s too easy, plastic and sterile. No heart or emotion.
If Newcastle and United get Arab ownership then there’ll be 3 clubs alongside Chelsea who are going to be competing. That’s when it’ll mean more. For now it’s too easy and more than 50% of their fam base are plastic, that comes along with quick success. Children hop on the trend

Spent two decades papering over the cracks without building something that is excellent and sustainable (proof is in the league titles as they only have 5 prems, something City have done in the last 6 years & the fact they never even competed for a title whilst winning the ucl). Is it because city owners are arab? All these small clubs jokes were hurled at chelsea before they won the ucl and city are literally going to get a generation of fans due to this superteam.
