the simple talk and detail is the right aproach. thats what I like so much about these vids. ive been watching other painters channels trying to learn for nearly a month and only just found this channel. ive watched maybe 10 vids now and have had many questions answered that i had no one to ask. this channel is what youtube was originally all about. learning and sharing our skills is so important. im a refrig mechanic but diy everything and without people like this i wouldnt have 1/10 the knowledge i have gained over the last 10 years watching all the good people on youtube. I feel like I should be doing the same thing with my trade as I pride myself on being the best I can be at my job and love teaching and talking to like minded people.

we usually spray a very light coat of sealer on the edges of what we're blending to make sure theres no color difference from the sealer.we also spray clear blender on the edge of the sealer blend to melt any dry edges.that tip works great especially with cheaper sealers that will ring out with high metallic colors on dry egdes

This is one of the best, if not the best youtube video I've seen, your explanations are very clear, your spraying is excellent. I painted a new preprimed bumper and messed it up horribly, I watched too many videos, everyone does things differently. I ordered another bumper and this time I'll do it correctly after watching this video. I'm a DIY'er and never done this before, also using rattle cans. Made a lot of mistakes on this first one, a little expensive project having to do it twice, but I consider this a learning process. Thanks for the video. God Bless.

Not sure if anyone else said it but we use to use one choice just like in this video and never had a problem. Then we discovered transtar brand # 1084 and there scat cleaner . ( same as h20 so clean) no scuffing or sanding. Wipe it down with the clenser which also is a static eliminator , spray on the 1k product which dries super fast , then seal and paint as usual. Never had a problem with it and transtar backs there product.

I don't know if the guy at the paint store is an idiot or just stopped learning because i asked what primer he recommends for sealing plastics such as a bumper and he gave me a weird look and said all i need is the adhesion promoter and directly apply the basecoat😆 he said that using their product old dog adhesion promoter is all that is needed and i could even google it😆 so i just left the paint store very dumbfounded 😂 he said that no primer of any kind is needed on plastics because the primer will basically peel off due to heat. Yep! Very dumbfounded. My thought process was that i would get expert advice from someone who deals with auto paint daily but realized he probably has never picked up a spray gun or done body work😂

Wow, for the people who complained you should ask them if they prefer you make the video in Spanish make it really difficult to understand if they enjoy a challenge while also trying to learn. Also guaranteed they steal all your tips and advice and go use it .
