WHY ARE DEADZONES SO IMPORTANT IN HALO INFINITE CONTROLLER SETTINGS??

With all the controller settings dives we do here on the channel, I thought it could be cool to discuss why deadzones are so important. This controller setting is in nearly every game today, but is significantly more important in Halo Infinite. Yo for real your settings turned me into a fucking DEMON in Halo. Halo Theatre is fucked for me so I'm gonna Nvida record and upload a match I just played going 25-2, I now average 15 plus kills per game with these settings.

I found halfing everything does the trick for me. Left sense in the middle and turned acceleration up to 5. Feels most like theres not an aim assist there as possible. If everyone played the same deadzones we wouldn't have to be perfectly cut down evenly through the middle but im not a fan of dominating one person and not being able to hit the other. lol.

You run 12 axial on the look thumbstick,this helps with more precise aiming in your opinion?

So tbh, I couldn’t find and huge advantage anywhere for axial when testing it, so I just left it default. I’m so used to it now and really like where it’s at that I won’t change it now. Hope this helps

@@AboveAverageCody yeah,your videos are great on this game,older halo player constantly messing around with my settings to try and steady my aim,right now just playing in bootcamp trying to get it right, using 4 accel,6,6 H&V,
0,15,3 0,10,3,its ok,feel it could be better.

Every Deadzone video only talks about stick drift. Deadzone is extremely important. If it was just "Stick Drift" than why is the default almost at max? This affects how you aim drastically, don't just go to 0 because you have a new controller. I find the default settings to be more natural feeling like im playing Halo 2.

Honestly the aim assist in this game is fundamentally broken for both inputs. And yea changing deadzones may help but it doesn’t cure the problem…
