Lucid play on high max input threshold. Frosty plays on low one. Just depends on play style.
Something to note that I've found helps me.
Close range short fast strafe works really well. But the further away you are the longer strafe you need to make them correct reticle placement.

Too true. In my games of ranked I often wonder why we even strafe anymore because everyone can hit shots so well. Like you said, it more so comes down to YOU hitting your shots and hitting those shots first and not trying to make your opponent miss

Halo veteran here (not completely goated at halo infinite specifically but goated at halo in general) Your aim is much more important than anything else, your movement might make it look like the intro cutscene for the boy Master chief but if you’re not able to hit all 5 of your M932 DMR on the dudes body then hit his head…you see where I’m going with this, the only thing you should do for fixing you aim is look to see how you miss your target, if you’re missing because you’re flicking too hard turn it down, if you need to flick harder turn it up, your sensitivity and aiming deadzones are what is going to help your aim the most
Appreciate these words bro. I’m really trying to work on everything and trying to help people realize the same thing. Yes hyper focusing obj and awareness will help, but the cracked aim to win gunfights and such is also needed for higher competition.

Sometimes if I got the first shot I'll basically just stand still to finish the fight.
Yeah the magnetism is so overzealous that honestly movement bearly matters at anything other then long range
