Today we have another strafing video for all you guys! Even though we open up with a controller settings tip, this video is easily the most important for all of you and your strafing. In this one, I give you guys the absolute best strafe tips that I’ve come up with from all the games I have played. You should mention that longer strafes are better for long ranges and short for short ranges. The reason is because the enemy player model is small when they’re further away, so if they move a little they barely move on your screen. The opposite is true when they’re close
Havent really considered this but it is true. In all reality I usually just keep doing my small jiggles and struggle to aim🤣
That depends on whether or not they’re zoomed in. If they’re zoomed, a short strafe is better. If they’re not zoomed, the long range is better.
What works for Me usually is if you follow copy the enemy strafe. In the gunfight it throws them off. Plus it's satisfying seeing them trip up.
I get more perfects when I have a good strafe in a br fight because left stick aim is way more important in this game until that final headshot

So is there a way to implement this on a keyboard?
in halo 5 you could duck to dodge bullets. it would work for about 1 shot. mix it in with the jumps and thrusts and that game was money.

On that final headshot do u use your right stick to aim onto the head or are u still left sticking to kill them with that final headshot
The real answer is both. You kind of adjust with a snap of the right stick, then if you’re a little off you can slide it over with the left stick. Not exactly one or the other, really whatever you have to do to get it there. Hope this helps.

Okay, I don’t know what kind of voodoo your working with in these videos but I just copied the settings from your aim video and then proceeded to go 33-2 in a ranked game ( it was silver 3 but still an improvement from 7-15 games)

Because you have to shoot your gun for gunfights which is in the title lol
@@AboveAverageCody I mean if you think it makes more sense to highlight the stick you use to AIM rather then the stick you use to STRAFE for a video specifically talking about how to improve your STRAFE, more power to you.

This is why walshy retired in halo reach officially because the game mechanics where made less competitive. No more bxr, bxb, quad shot and more. In halo 3 it was still possible but when halo reach came out the game completely changed. No more friends and family doing lands and buying a ton of hotpockets and mountain dew crazy grown men yelling at eachother.
