From a more casual player these setting has increased my performance by a bit. My reticle stays on the target and seems to be snappy yet sticky to mid ranges. Thanks for the info

The FOV slider was my biggest hangup, and after turning it up to 90 or so I feel like I've definitely improved. Thank you for this vid! Also, fun drinking game: take a shot every time Maka says "sweet spot"!
Turn it up to 110. You’ll be able to see a lot more.
@@MaccMurda 110 makes everything too small. 100 is the sweetspot

I'm with Dan on this. Thank you so much! I set it up and tested it, and improved my accuracy and won the very first test match. Feels much more responsive and very very accurate! I personally like my sticks to be a little more sensitive, but as you mentioned, that's just preference and what you are used to as you learn them. Thanks again!

Change your beatdown to R1 and your grapple to RightStick
It doesnt look like it, but it would be cool if you could have different settings for Multiplayer vs Campaign. Some of these effects are probably gonna be pretty awesome for the campaign, maybe they will add that when it is released.
Yeah, would recommend keeping some of the UI stuff enabled on campaign!

Blur and bloom effects are my two biggest mortal enemies.
After that theres film grain and screen shake followed by movement effects and finally vibration which some games have it bell balanced in which the feedback adds to the experience without hurting your senses but on other games it can feel like youre handling a some indrustial drill.
Cheers Maka, these settings have made a real difference for me. Weirdly I don't get the option to change graphics to performance mode.

For MCC, I had been running close to default and found Halo 3 (my most played) to control how I expected.

Which console are you playing on? I’m playing on an Xbox one and am wondering if it’s even worth trying to get back to my old skill level on halo 3 on such an old console. Love the game, reminds me of playing halo 3 competitively but if my hardware can’t keep up then it might not be worth it
Shouldn't the bloom setting only affect the HUD like the map and weapon selection seen at the bottom of the screen and not external light sources outside the helmet? On mine I was noticing nasty blooming around the map and even gun aimer circle and turning it off removed it.

Highly disagree with making enemies pineapple. On maps with bright areas it actually camos the enemy once they are lit up. I prefer Lavender or any color not bright like yello.
I tried turning down the max threshold for look joystick and i didnt like it so i just went back to normal.
I personally do well on lower sens, 2.5 or lower

How do you know what your stick drift is? As your setting the number how can you see if its moving?
You just have to check it in game

I've come across a lot of videos saying axial should be 10 or higher and the other 2 should be at 0 no matter what

I think it’s how you feel. I just turn up camera and sensitivity and I’m good to go.

For the zoom settings got lower for the snipe like 0.7 for 6x and 0.5 10x

That's not quite what Axial Deadzone is; what it does is cancel out some of the opposite axis movement if you're very close to pointing straight in that direction (as in, if you're pointed at, like 85 degrees to the right, it'll cancel out that slight vertical and give you straight 90 degrees to the right). It can be helpful for very new-to-controller players, but as a whole it's very detrimental to fine aim and muscle memory in the long run.
A channel named "No Strings Prd" has three fantastic videos (for MCC) that explain the Axial Deadzone (as well as some related settings).
Is axial for movement important or should I set it to 0?

Most of it didn't do much to be honest. But the changing of opponents to yellow is Clutch!
This is the best Controller Setting I ever had
Helpful, totally disagree with leaving controls at default though. Bumper jumper, right thumb click zoom, left trigger grenade, a sprint, left thumb click crouch/slide is the way to go.
That’s crazy cause I play default but also use an Elite Og controller while also using the four under triggers and have the top right B bottom right RB op left A and bottom left LB I couldn’t imagine trying those setting
I just like not ever needing to take my thumbs off the sticks except reloads and if I was switching weapons but pretty aware when I need to do those things

Your tv might not have the required specs usually game mode only changes contrast and visual characteristics, usually doesn’t change any performance characteristics of the tv. USUALLY. Some TVs probably do. I would recommend getting a gaming monitor if you’re trying to get performance changes and customizable settings

It's not drift I was looking at. It has to be set high enough so auto aim doesnt drag when a character walks through the reticle. Which is like 10.
