btw you should totally let people know about how to import custom games megapacks! you can get them from nexus, there's hundreds! of gamemodes and it's way easier to download a pack than downloading from random peoples profiles AND you can have more than 50 maps saved that way

The lowered cross hair never bothered me until I started playing destiny on PC. sitting close to the monitor as opposed to away from the TV felt quite different with the lowered cross hair.
If you want another boost to your skill, find a good playlist of music that plays at the beat of Halo. If you don't know the Beat of Halo, I collected a playlist of sings and set it to public for all my whopping 0 fans to listen to. 😆
But for real, it's there. My playlist is guaranteed to improve your game by 2 fold at least. Just set it to random and repeat and get into the music. If it doesn't work, though, let me know. It could just be me that it works on. I have no idea. 😆

@@K1LL3Rm0nkay yeah mist of us aren't at head level with the centre of our TV due to size so the lowered crossbar makes a lot more sense

Correction on the sensitivity, you actually should strive for a setting where you can do a full 360, not just a 180.
I increased my FOV from 70 to 120 in Halo 3. I began winning more BR duels. It also got easier to lead shots. Totally the opposite effect expected in FPS. In Destiny, a lower FOV helps increase the the range of aim assist and bullet magnetism.
I'm tempted to lower my FOV in Reach, though. I can't see crap. It's all too far away. It doesn't help that Reach has a weird LoD effect to conserve resources made for when it was on 360 to allow for 720p 30 FPS render resolution at high detail.
I believe that your field of view does not change the distance at which aim assist/magnetism is reduced in mcc. Thus if you have good eye sight and a good pixel density, a higher field of view is superior as it allows you to not only see more of the map at once but to play at a higher sensitivity without losing aim.
I like halo 5 because you can sprint but on halo3 mcc can't find button to sprint losing games 50 4

I still wish there was an option for backround music volume, in some campaigns (halo 1) way too loud, and in others like halo 3 too low

Does anybody have an issue on pc where you press any key bind and the game stops a a frame for a sec or longer?
Crossplay is first thing i disable 😅 so i dont get sniped from another side of the map in a moving earthog each time😔

How do you match Halo MCC settings to Halo Infinite? I frequently switch between both and am trying to run the exact same setting for sensitivity in both but in MCC my Infinite settings seem a little sluggish.
Also along the same lines, when I play Halo CE on an original Xbox I use 7 sensitivity. What is the equivalent for Halo CE Anniversary?
Basically looking for some sort of equivalency between original hardware, MCC, and Infinite so that when I switch between I don’t have to get used to slightly different settings

Not going to lie, I was wondering what sensitivity you played on. Been trying different things out to get ready for Infinite.
As a hardcore halo fan I would actually say infinite feels and looks like halo, but if you play it as it were cod it won't feel as clanky and slow as old halos.

Hey, there's a setting in CE Anniversary and maybe 2 where you can change sound effects to classic or anniversary even playing on classic visuals with aniv. sound effects. Anybody know where that setting is?

My game doesn't work. I get a message saying "user signed out" can't load any games or even be in the menu till getting booted to the title screen. I uninstalled the game. Changed my password. Logged out and back in but still I cant play. 343 suppor didn't help much either. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm on Xbox s btw

Go to customisation tab for halo 4 them it has armour customisation and loadouts

How can people tell if they're in melee range on 120 fov? That's the only thing which keeps me on 100 fov.
Should use borderless or fullscreen I have 2 monitors
Just an fyi put a vpn on when you play and don't join a party with someone you don't trust. There are work arounds to getting someones ip, But be safe when you play.

yes you can
I run it with a controller and 90 FOV, and a sensitivity at 6, but otherwise the same as you do.
I got used to the centered crosshair and 110 FOV.

With the recent launch of the CGB I think it would have been cool if a list of players with files shares containing good custom games was listed in the video description!

I had to change some of those region settings. Sure you'll find less games, but it's not worth it when you're connecting to people with 300 ping.

Edit: Thoughts on getting an ultra-wide monitor versus a standard 16:9 with a slightly increased FOV? I'm leaning more towards 16:9 for competitive play. Ultra-wide will make performance suffer and require too much eye movement.
I wouldn't bother with ultra wide has it make graphics more demanding on your system. The edge of the screen are so much in your peripheral vision that it'll be hard to notice. I don't know of any competitive player that uses anything besides a regular 16:9 monitor. I'd focus on refresh rate and response time for monitors
I actually thought about running 4:3 ratio but with 120 horizontal fov to get more vertical screen space so I can bypass the utility of a lowered crosshair.

That's a very odd setup.
I just put 4:3 on my monitor.
@@jackcolson4745 It's for the high-ish refresh rate and zero input lag, look it up, CRT's are king, especially for FPS's. Had a 1997 Trinitron, figured I'd put it to use, it's not like it's my only monitor, that would suck 😂, my main monitor is 16:10 but it's limited to 60Hz.

Setting that Halo MCC should’ve had: Adjust volume settings through in games- I literally just want to hear the funny dialogues enemies and Allie’s say without hearing constant explosions and the fact that 343 never added such setting is upsetting😕
My problem with the larger FOV is it makes everything I’m shooting at seem tiny and further away than it really is. Also breaks usability of the radar a bit.

Crossplay with PC off (Atleast for matchmaking) Less snap shots and reduces the risk of cheaters.
They should make a search option to play with less sweaters because everytime I try and get challenges done on social I get hit with the smell of sweat from the enemy team
I don't see the point of ever running centered crosshairs in Halo. You trade vertical line of sight for... what?
The comfort of the centered cross hair. It's personal preference, but I feel if you have good cross hair placement, which is key to get better at any 1st person shooter, then it being centered isn't a problem. I played all the old games on the Xbox with the lowered cross hair and was used to it, but once I played halo 1, 2, and then the mcc on PC, it felt very weird and hard to get used to.
I tried centered crosshair once and it made me physically ill. I can't imagine playing Halo like that all the time. Its such a detriment.

I am really detail oriented and its interesting that if u lower the effect quality to low the bullet shells that comes out of ur guns are fully repelling out of ur gun. If u play on normal every 2nd or 3rd. Bullet comes out of ur gun and on high u are only repelling one per 5 shots . Its interesting how low effect quality makes the bullet shells rejecting out of weapon better than high! Dont know what 343 thought about that but i loved halos bullet shell repelling and play effects on low for this. As i mentioned i love details but not in suffer of my bullet shells 🤣

Those server filters are NOT as filtered as they should be. Having ONLY "West US" turned on also includes other countries and there seems to be no way to get a true "West US only" filter.👎
