Don't worry lads, Frank will be in the MNF studio with you soon.
He is a legend obviously he will be. Why are you being so sarcastic
Even that is above him tbh

he is ok for Championship, thats about it, he is no prodigy, everton getting relegated is all on him
@@itsmeprasad1987 legend 😹😹😹what a joke. Below average player.
Sad sad day. I was hoping we could see Everton AND Frank go down together. Guess we will just have to settle for Everton 😂
Why
They're no danger are they everton I'm.not scared of them
😂👏😂👏😂👏😂👏😂👏
😂😂😂
Why ?
With former players like this, they really do need to start in the lower leagues, league one two, or national league. They would make such a difference, at that level just their presence will make many a player and supporter up their games. They should have good contacts and an eye for exceptional player at that level. They will learn all the basics, whilst not having that massive pressure and egos and other controlling factors within the structure in the club.
Good idea. It would also raise the profile of EFL/L2/NL clubs so much, and bring grassroots players through to the PL. Everyone would win in that scenario, except the advertisers & big money agents, and that's the point.
Absolutely spot on imagine being an 8/6 learning the trade and lampard/Gerrard is your gaffa nurturing you
Lampard did well at Derby and almost got them promoted but should have stayed there for longer instead of jumping the gun.

I wouldn't wish a sacking on anyone, but it's not so surprising. Everton board aside, I don't think Frank was an experienced enough coach and tactician. And it's hard to say if he ever will be. This is a very similar situation to Gerrard, who had exactly the same issue.
You wouldn't wish a sacking on anyone? Really, Lampard gets his contract paid up to the end and he doesn't have to work, sounds like a dream scenario to most people.
@@alancawfield6549 He's done all right and if/when Everton are relegated, then he won't be THAT guy who took them out of the PL for the first time.
He can also use the s--tshow that is Everton as an excuse to cover up his own failings as manager and nab another PL job.
Back of the net!
@@alancawfield6549 Don't think he needs the money. His pride will be hurt from this. He'd rather still be in the job & succeed I'm sure.
@@alancawfield6549 Frank was already rich, not everybody motivation is down to money. Sacking can hit people very hard as a mark of failure. Lampard and Gerrard just need time away to master their craft with advice from other experts
Most english managers don't really have it in them to make it at big clubs except for some exceptions in the past. There's a reason why none of them have won a Premier Legaue until now. I think English players in the past (not so much nowadays) and english coaches in general lack tactical and sometimes even technical knowledge in order to compete with others who came from abroad. That's why their buying all this knowledge from Italy, Germany, Spain etc. Football has evolved and kick and rush isn't the solution anymore. Look how Pep and his spanish stuff have completely reformed not only City's first team but also their academy. As long as England doesn't improve their "manager education" system, you lot won't win another international title and will continue to "steal" coaches from other countries. For now it would be better for a lot of upcoming coaches to try and earn their coaching badge in other countries especially in Germany.
Just remember Everton's NET spend is only £300m over 7 years.
£40-45m a year is fine if you have one manager & a consistent approach, but that wasn't the case. Owner & board have been reckless.
That's actually not too crazy when you consider the PL and what Nottingham just spent. Chelsea literally spent that in the last two windows...
Splashed a lot on James just to let him leave
Got James on a free & sold him for £8m.
He did cost £200k a week, but we spent £80k a week on Bernard & £100k a week on Rondon. Know who I'd prefer!

No he didn’t haha
Nobody is saying that Lampard is in the same league as Ancelotti
Carra is looking more buff than ever. Good for him
Many of these former legendary players expect that every young player in the squads they go on to manage have the same incredible drive, work ethic, competitiveness and talent that they did. Unrealistic expectations has much to do with all this.
That’s actually a spot on point. These player-managers are the top .1% and their players just aren’t that
The fact always ignored when a club like Everton is struggling is that they havent considered the Championship clubs are becoming better equipped and managed to survive the PL. Brentford last year, fulham this season. These teams are bringing fresh approaches to PL survival.
There's always a few clubs that survive in the prem for as long as they have like brighton and palace unexpectedly and with everton looking doomed it would be nice to see teams that don't be in the prem that often fo a while like brentford
Last calendar year I'd say Steve Cooper is a challenger to Silva and Howe. Forest and Newcastle seem to have the full club and supporters behind the managerS, who have proved successful at lower levels. Everton seem very divided and Lampard has not really had time to learn as a coach and manager before going to the PL.
Surely this is confirmation now that Frank should be no where near a PL club for the next 5 years. He never gets properly criticised because he’s English & mates with the media.
You alright? He was at Chelsea got them top 4 with a transfer ban after losing hazard. He then was top at Christmas, 1 bad month I’m January with Chelsea seeing them down to 4th and he got sacked. He is an excellent manager, these players are absolutely useless. The greatest managers, benitez , ancelotti failed with this Everton lot.

The board are accountable, but I'm convinced very few managers could have got less out of these players. We are poor but we're not bottom 3 poor as a squad. We ship goals for fun with two very good centre halves and a very very good keeper. He got the club, he seems like a really good guy, but it just wasnt working. Hope he manages to rebuild his rep as a manager

I watched Everton play Arsenal last summer and even then you could see that Arsenal was trying to play a certain way and it was working and Everton was adrift. i think the result was only 2-0 but Everton had hardly a sniff at the final third.
I loves Lamps as a cfc fan. However why isn't his sacking shown on Skysports website? it seems like it is hidden away. Not even on Everton section. Only found out by this video.
Everton is the banter club that keeps on giving
Oh boy I can't wait to watch this video, it would be a shame if Frank's mates were to cover for him yet again like the millionaire cheerleaders they are
But of course they will.
What does money have anything to do with this? Someone's a little jealous.
When teams played Everton all their manager had to say was 'lads its a Frank Lampard team'
Could have said the same thing when Benitez was manager and they went 14 matches without a win.
There are seven teams in the PL that are on another level financially
13 teams fighting to not be in the bottom 3
No matter how good you are you’re on thin ice
I agree with everything Jamie said until he said Silva for manager of the year, surely it’s Artetas if he wins the EPL
i just want to know how this club managed to sign Carlo ancelloti
Lampard is a lagend💙
Would love to hear Farley's view as well, lol
It'll be the only honest take we'll see on it.
Hahah just saw it now, Funny!
2:36 - Pretty sure the board take turns shaking a magic 8 ball to make decisions. It was Bill's turn over the weekend.
At least lampard knows one thing for sure. Ain't easy to be a manager. He sure remember what he thinks about them when he was a player
6:40 What did Jamie say?
Watch it from the start again and watch Neville’s arms on the intro… 😂😂😂
Producer: GARY STICK YOUR HANDS UP AND MOVE THEM WIDER
Gary: Ok.
Producer: Gary say "at this moment in time"
Not an Everton fan but the part I don't get is it's not like they were performing well before Lampard arrived. So has he "Underperformed"? Or simply not overperformed? He came into a mess and didn't suddenly fix everything. I'm yet to hear what specific errors he made.
Also, scoring goals is always going to be a big issue if Calvert Lewin is your main striker- injured or not. He's a poor finisher who has had 1 decent six month spell in his whole career.
Just like Steven Gerrard who was sacked at Villa last season, now was Frank Lampard turn to get sacked...Both of them were outstanding players but definitely not ready as a good Manager in PL yet...Maybe both of them shall coach a Championships team first to gain enough coaching experiences before they r ready to coach a PL team again!!
They blew 200m on Sigurdsson, Kean, Tosun and Iwobi…. I won’t even mention the other players they wasted a fortune on.
Smells like another installment of Gary Neville investigates, can't wait to watch the overlap on this one
The problem with these new young managers. They dont stay long enough at 2nd tier clubs. To progress. Themselves. However looking at mikel arteta. He was an assistant manager to pep. So that is kind of like on the field training.and watching.. that equates to coaching a championship league side.
They should've got Redknapp on to tell how much of a top class manager Frank is and how the players have let him down just like at Chelsea.
I mean I'm all for holding footballers accountable but at some point we have to admit Lampard is probably not for coaching, he hasn't had a good go of it and it seems to get worse with each season
They don't have any good players.
@russellward4624 I don't know about that, I mean they have England's number 1, they have Tarkowski who I think I'd very good, Mina who is also decent, Geuye in midfield who I rate highly with Onana who is doing pretty well, Antony Gordon who people keep raving about, DCL who is a pretty decent striker and they still have Gray who can win a game at any point in the game, plus Iwobi who is an Arsenal graduate and pretty average PL player. Now I'm not saying these player are world beaters but they certainly aren't players who should be second bottom that just smells of terrible coaching in my opinion
Not necessarily, he’s just at the wrong level. He was decent with Derby in the championship.
Big Sam is waiting next to his red phone, waiting for the call
I wish that someone on Toffee TV would come on Monday Night football and give our side of things
its not just the owners
I'm a believer in managers starting out in lower leagues and proving themselves, there is only one reason Gerrard and Lampard got top management positions and its because they were top class players, big big gamble which very rarely pays off
I believe Steven Gerrard had a good term at rangers winning the league with over a hundred points. However it does show that they were not ready for the prem quite yet
Arteta might disagree :)
@@natspencer5799 Arteta wasn't a great player
What's the "off the field" stuff Carra mentioned? Genuinely curious. I don't follow Everton that closely.
One of the problem in England is when a footballer makes a name the media think he should be a manager of a big club or England without starting at the bottom, even if you’re a good leader as a footballer, 🎉doesn’t mean you can do the same in management
Talking about Frank Lampard, I've heard Simon Jordan saying that he thinks he will become a great manager! Based on what evidence?😂😂
Frank Lampard's main problem is Frank Lampard
Very deep.
He just can't get out of his own way.
oh, this is...quite sad to read, actually.
spicy deep lore take that some may disagree with but I honestly think overly intense pressure from his Dad all through childhood and his teens did a number on his esteem.
To be fair they gave him more than time but it is what it is, so happy they've given Arteta time 🔴⚪
How was Coady in the end? He was defensively weak for us (Wolves) for many seasons but in a back 3 he was covered immensely by the other defenders. We kind of got hammered for loaning him out by the media, which made zero sense, it was almost as if it was a stick to beat us with, but it was obvous he wasn't quite good enough to play in a back 4 despite being able to use the ball really well and being great vocally.
He's been so-so. Started off strongly but, like most of the squad, has sort of withered away.
He's quite senior now, tbf, and seems the sort to put family & community before his football (not necessarily a bad thing at all), so from here he's really hit his ceiling and won't improve or change as an athlete.
@@pendafen7405 I like him as a person, he seems to be a genuinely nice person. Terribly limited as a player though. He's decent in a back three where he can play out from the back and is covered by others defensively. However, in a back 4, he's dangerously inept.
Within a week these 2 have said. Arteta. Ten Hag. Eddie Howe and now Marco Silva should win manager of the year
Unbelievably, John Terry is about the only 'Golden Generation' player going about all this in a smart, reasonable and humble way. He's been quietly assistant-managing and consultant-coaching for years, paying dues and learning the ropes while working under more experienced staff. If he ever gets given the reins of a top club, I think he'll surprise us all and turn out as a fantastic success.
Doubtful, most defender turned managers turn out to be truly dreadful!
Gary: “this is Everton Football Club”
Probably the best manager ever (Gary N) and the best manager that could have been (Jamie C) continue to provide rich perspectives what happened at Everton today and continue with the excellent roles as captain-hindsight with their in match and post match commentary, Only Roy Keane comes close to being in their league

Everton Roy Keane era incoming?
Everton spending a lot on a new ground and the team suffers. Same happened at Arsenal under Wenger and possibly at Tottenham who can only afford an occasional top player, the rest being bargains and loans. But they had the financial resources to ride it out. Not sure Everton have the resources to do the same. Heading for the Championship.
Frank's a nice guy but has a lot to learn! 😵😎🎸🤘
Frank needed a few years to work with Derby and earn his salt but you can't turn down the Chelsea job when it's offered to you. It's a once in a lifetime for most coaches. Same goes for Graham Potter, should have stayed with Brighton but alas
Frank saved Everton last season without Calvert lewin then they sold Richardson who was there best player and haven’t replaced what he gives to the team
Could not believe that they rehearse this program
Sacking Lampard, is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
It's also very funny.
why blame players but not Lampard
It is very clear that being great players in the past doesn't make you a great coach. (Henry, S.Gerrard, Lampard being perfect examples)
Many of these former legendary players expect that every young player in the squads they go on to manage would have the drive, work ethic, competitiveness and talent that they did. Unrealistic expectations has much to do with all this.
If he wasn’t English he would’ve long disappeared from the coaching scene. At least Gerrard won a title with the Rangers.
Winning the league with Rangers when Celtic were an absolute disaster that season isn’t as good as qualifying a Hazard-less Chelsea on a transfer ban for top 4. However both managers need to step down to a lower level for a few years, not ready for Prem relegation battles yet but both have got what it takes to be good managers
Winning with rangers isn't anything special on your cv.

Frank should join the rest of the "golden generation" on Sky and BT
Why fire Lampard and not Graham Potter!🤦🏽😡
I have said this before as Chelsea fan I like Lampard a players but Lampard is not an elite coach who’s ready for premier league. He doesn’t have the technical know how to do it. Lampard is more of a motivator than a tactical coach. Just what Chelsea is lacking in Graham Potter at the moment.
He just doesn’t seem to be a very good manager. Good thing for him is that he’s collected big pay days for his short stints at these PL clubs. However, clubs need to start structuring player contracts like Manager contracts. If they fear getting sacked, they’ll surely put more effort in no matter the manager
Kevin Phillips had the right idea, he's started his managerial career at South Shields FC, learn the trade at the bottom and work your way up. It astounds me that the Lampards and Gerrards of this world think they can waltz into management; spend millions of pounds and success will automatically follow...
kinda liked seeing them in short sleeves
Frank & Stevie back on BT to compete with Carraville for Best Punditry Couple when
Frank and Steven should have stayed at Derby and Rangers for 3/4/5 years and got some real experience before taking bigger jobs. Literally running before they can walk and knowing how ruthless management in the premier league is they should have known better.
Don’t write Lampard off! He’ll be back.
Lampard should either go abroad or go to championship or league 1 and build something with a small team, he's not good enough in the premier league
Not suprised, been saying since the start of the season. Why is Lampard in the job, he couldn't really cut it at Chelsea, didn't really do anything spectacular with Derby probably helped with their downfall in the long term (along with the person in charge of Derby) he is not good enough for a premier league manager. His appointment in the prem is like ole being at Manchester United way out of his depth. Good player poor manager.
Also people can't say Everton didn't sign players. They signed about 8 (this season) players whilst he was there. We're they good signings? No. Other than maybe 2. They are players that are not good enough for the prem. So whilst the board didn't help at Everton with signings, they definitely did not get the right manager in either.
