David Ornstein and John Cross discussed Manchester United's 3-2 win over Newcastle United, as well as the row between Marcus Rashford and a fan in the stands.
Amad Diallo and Rasmus Hojlund helped Manchester United to a 3-2 win over Newcastle at Old Trafford to move level on points with the Magpies.
Kobbie Mainoo's opening goal was enough to put Erik ten Hag's team in the lead at the interval but Anthony Gordon levelled things up early in the second half in an entertaining contest that was packed with chances at both ends of the pitch.
Amad restored the advantage, firing in his first Premier League goal from the edge of the penalty box, before Hojlund came off the bench to double the lead. Lewis Hall's goal made it a nervy finish but only goal difference now keeps Newcastle in seventh spot.

@@capio78 Given the number of injuries United has faced this season, I honestly can't blame him. However, I understand your perspective. As a fan, I sometimes question his tactical decisions, and he has certainly made some wrong calls throughout the season. Nevertheless, calling for his dismissal and suggesting Southgate as a replacement is disrespectful to United. I would prefer for United to stick with him, considering the new structure in place, and see how next season unfolds. If the same issues persist, then by all means, they should consider sacking him. By then, many good and great managers will be available for United to choose from.

@@iam_oseremen you’ve had injuries no doubt but that doesn’t explain why rashford and casemiro refuse to run or why your defence is 40 yards behind your midfield. He’s trying to press high but the defence is too slow so he’s sat back, it makes your midfield exposed it’s bizarre. He’s stuck between the tactics he wants to play and the players you have so he’s playing a bit of both and it’s destroying you. You have some good young players but Rashford should be first out, his sulking and laziness are a disgrace for a club that size

You have a guy who has a footballing philosophy to press high but doesn't have the players to do it, so he has half the team pressing and the defence sitting 30 yards behind the midfield because they're too slow to play high. The end result if teams walking through your midfield, week after week. He has fallen out with player after player, and whilst there's no doubt some of them have terrible attitudes and workrate, especially Rashford and Sancho his job is to manage assets not depreciate them. I quite like man utd but they're not my team so I am objective and I have never seen such a badly managed big team as them this season
