    The forecasting continues in Episode Four, as Jeroen aka DutchBondFan and I move onto to discussing the villains that will appear in No Time To Die. Who are these bad guys, what do they want and can James Bond stop them? We talk about what we think might be going on and what we possibly can expect to see from this batch of baddies.
    Forecasting No Time To Die s a six-part collaboration series with ‪@DutchBondFan‬ The odd number episodes can be found at Jeroen's channel, while the even number ones can be found on my HaphazardStuff channel.
    A special thanks to Thunberballs The James Bond Picture Archive, where many of the dynamite photos used in this series came from. Be sure to pay them a visit and enjoy some of the great images they have www.thunderballs.org/

    I'm not convinced that Safin is Dr. No. From all the trailers, news stories and possibly true leaks, Safin was in Spectre and is now a rival. I think he's going to be a great villain. He seems like a throwback to the classic megalomaniacs of past Bond films.
    I'd be shocked if Blofeld is in more than the prison scene. It seems he was shoehorned in (again) in an Anthony Hopkins "Silence of the Lambs" type scene.

    John BIG SPOILER to answer your question about the henchmen on the bridge.
    Bond strangled him with a clones line in a vicious fight when Bond steals his motorcycle, and in the fight Bond rips his fake eye out (I'm being 100% legit here) and then the henchmen puts his eye back in.
    So sharp "eyes you have", to see that issue with his eye!! 😂😂😂
    Also during his fight with Bond, he tells Bond Blofeld has sent them!!
    Soon on my channel I too will be doing my No Time To Die predictions and revealing lots of little secrets 😁🍸
    PS - The eye thing as well the mention of the New World Order in Spectre is EON hidden in plain sight Freemason symbolism, the one eye is representative of the all seeing eye. Evil shit!!

    Safin looks to have created some sort of "Shangri-la" or an *Oasis* most likely similar to Blofeld's facility but this one seems more authenticated for an enclosed environment, a biozone. As there have been shots of what looks to be an illuminated river that seems to play part in the final acts.
    This could ultimately tie into Quantum's terraforming, and Spectre's terrorism as perhaps they both obviously tie into a much more elaborate global scheme.
    Safin's scars even foreshadows the severe recovery he must've underwent. I'm calling it, it's going to be some sort of ecological situation. I'll even be the black sheep and say this is possibly some sort of "Fountain of Youth" or geological event on behalf of SPECTRE's elite. In an attempt to re-establish the authentic Bond egomaniacal era.
    As SPECTRE has already been acquiring small governments and targeting the intelligence community since Bond earned his license to kill.
    What if Dr. No is introduced by the end of Daniel Craig's film, paralleling Dr. No 1962 which began the iconic franchise, ultimately making the Craig series a prequel to all Bond's. It would take some serious script magic, but other than introducing a female 007 while James "retires", what again? It would leave Bond's arch unfinished. The Bond arch has to be elevated by the end of the film and will in some form or fashion.
    As all the venues, cinematography, villains, fashion, climax, and themes of the Craig series have all been but enveloping Bond in a world SPECTRE has made, long coming eccentricity and stylization. It's all been about a return to classic Bond form.

      Good points. Keep in mind that Connery was up against Spectre in all of his EON films except Goldfinger. In NSNA he fought Spectre as well.
      One other thing to keep in mind.....at one point it was reported that the title of this film was called "Genoma Of A Woman." Not a good sounding title, but....it does however refer to gene splicing/modification, and ties in with your theory here. Interesting.

    • @TheRealAdaWong
      @TheRealAdaWong Před 3 lety

      Thanks for the tip, I'll keep an eye out for more nefarious activities after the MI6 building and the headquarters fiasco.
      Spectre presently made clear they are his world, however, I believe his truest enemy naturally is himself, as he and Swann are both composed of an ill-fated complex, tragedy. I feel his overall character complex will be the pivoting climax as to how Bond himself responds to the unfolding events. Will he choose to live or die when he has no time? As the choice has always been in his possession.
      In the trailers Bond has even stated something along the lines of "If we don't stop this, there'll be nothing left" and "millions", meaning this is not only Bond's most important mission, but humanity's literal hope, among the intelligence community as well.
      As well as the guests suffocating when Bond is discovered in the party, look closely, they're being just as much affected by their environment than Bond is stunned. Including which also seemed to be uranium rods ascending from what I'm calling the illuminated aquariun river, Safin is inciting a new world.
      Which of course elevates Bond's significance as every mission he's faced have been international conspiracies and solo outings, that never really impacted the broader public, rather majority the IC and global policy. Thus the film is absolutely intended to be a global thriller, an authentic Bond doomsday outing where the world truly needs 00's.

      @@TheRealAdaWong Interesting take on the film and plot. There's also a very quick line in one of the trailer's where Safin tells Bond that he's "irrelevant". Interesting line considering how many in the press and even fans have been doubting Bond's place in the world. I think you're on to something, in that as the movie unfolds, the audience will see that Bond and his skill set is not only needed.....but desperately needed.

      These two lines are from two different scenes and you may just have hit on the plot. At what appears to be MI 6 headquarters, Bond asks Swann "what is it?".... and she says " you don't know what this is."....as she backs away from Bond slightly. It's very subtle, and I noticed this in one of the original NTTD trailers. I know it's only speculation, but I think it's possible that Safin infects Swann with some kind of bioweapon or something. We shall see.

    Are intermissions a thing of the past? The run time is five minutes short of three hours. Even with the mandate of packing as many showings around the clock as possible, surely an audience needs a breather. This would be a significant argument for waiting for the DVD/Blu-Ray release. Three hour 'Roadshow' films of the 1960's were an evening out and they were presented to an audience as just that: an evening's entertainment. Now a three hour film is about the logistics of getting audiences in and out of the cinema as efficiently as possible.

    • @HaphazardStuff
      @HaphazardStuff  Před 3 lety +2

      I would love if they went back to intermissions like they had back in the ‘60s!!! Halfway thru the movie give the audience a breather to refill on snacks and a bathroom break while they play a ten minute ‘No Time To Die’ suite onscreen. That would be cool. They’d probably never do it though.

    I have to be honest with you guys... I love your videos and your insights for the most part, but I really do think you're being a tad cynical about this film. I think the media (who don't understand Bond) have warped the truth about this film. I think this movie is gonna be a blast and won't contain the amount of PC/MeeToo BS that you think it'll contain. Let's just see and hope I'm not wrong eh. 😊

      @andrewkingham Před 3 lety +3

      I agree, the media are definitely politically spinning this film. Hopefully any potentially contentious areas will be handled more like the introduction of Judi Dench's M in GoldenEye; initial conflict which gives way to a well-balanced and fun partnership that doesn't drag one character down to elevate the other. Current Hollywood trends would suggest this is unlikely, but EON are unpredictable.

    • @marksieve7734
      @marksieve7734 Před 3 lety +2

      You make a good point here. With any luck, Waller-Bridge wasn't brought in to ruin the film, but to keep Bond the same character that Fleming created, and have him scoff at all the BS around him. He's got to save the world after all. But does he "get the girl?" Perhaps in NTTD the audience is going to be asking by the end of the film "but is she worth getting?" Yes, the press over the past two years has been giddy about the change of directors, the delays, a female 007! They have their own agendas, and they do NOT involve a successful male James Bond franchise. Maybe Barbara Broccoli isn't the villain here, as you suggest. We need to be open to the possibility that the film may be a great Bond film, even after two years of speculation. Last I heard, the press didn't write THE SCREENPLAY.

      Well, we do have actual quotes from the cast and crew suggesting that their priorities are rather political. In addition, the presentation of the character thus far is.... disconcerting. Again, hopefully it won't be and we'll get a character that is genuinely fun and interesting, but we've come to expect that things will likely play out safe and very, very predictable in modern Hollywood.
