At first, I thought it was a religious movie. Turns out I was pleasantly surprised how they wrapped time travel around the birth of Christianity, a conspiracy for madmen to rule the world, and assassination of Christ. The producers could have easily slipped Hitler in as the target but that would be too expected. Using Jesus was brilliant and the plot thickened many times over swinging one way then the other. It is not per se, a 'religious story' - but it is the plots background. I found it quite intriguing and enjoyed this movie very much. Very entertaining.

I don't really see how this confesses anything. At best it demonstrates that the people who made this movie believe jesus is real. Listen if believing in this jesus fella gets you through your day, by all means go for it. By this notion you must also believe time travel is not only real but something we can actively do now? If time travel were real and the followers of jesus use it to go say hi to jesus but do nothing to solve poverty, then they should be ashamed of themselves.

Not a real fan of Jesus/Christian movies....but for the record: 1) Jesus Christ was NOT "assassinated"...He was "executed"! 2) Jesus Christ [and His followers] saw/see His death, as a "sacrifice" [ie, His life was given up - not taken]. Jesus definitely gave this creator the ability to create an extraordinary and out of the ordinary story. Congrats on a fun and interesting take on the story of Jesus if time travel were involved but I feel like the Jesus story line wasn't wrapped up well. Jesus could have time traveled to the end of the timeline and said to the protagonist something like "See, all your worry was for nothing. In the end everything works out for the good of all things." This isn't a high budget movie.. I've seen a lot of people kicking this movie around but I found it to be very good! Not only was it a fun movie to watch, it was very original. I love to find movies with new ideas and scripts. I noticed there are a few that are really slandering this movie and I don't really know why. No the acting wasn't the greatest nor was the special effects. The story was great I thought! By no means did I find myself looking at my watch. Let's compare this to Deadpool versus wolverine.
