- Panang Curry is a type of red Thai curry with additional ingredients. It's savory, a little sweet, and nutty! I show you how to make Panang curry paste from scratch and then how to make Panang Curry using Pork as my protein of choice. It goes great with rice!

🌶️ INGREDIENTS (adjust flavors to your liking)
Panang Curry Paste (makes about 1 cup)
Lemongrass - 1 stalk (lower half)
Galangal - 1 inch knob
Kaffir Lime Peel - 1.5 tsp
Cilantro Roots - 3 roots
Shallots - 4 small bulbs
Garlic - 6 cloves
Dried Guajillo Chilis - 2 chilis
Dried Jinda Chilis - 7 chilis
Paprika Powder - 1.5 tsp
Coriander Seeds - 1.5 tsp (see video for technique)
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp (see video for technique)
White Peppercorn - 1 tsp
Shrimp Paste - 1.5 tsp
Panang Curry
Pork Shoulder - 1 lb or 454 g
Mild Medium Red Chili - 2 chilis (see video for tip)
Kaffir Lime leaves - 6 leaves
Panang Curry Paste - 1/2 cup (ingredients above, be mindful of saltiness if you're using store bought)
Coconut Cream - 1/4 cup (see video for technique)
Coconut Milk - 1.5 cups
Fish Sauce - 2 tbsp
Palm Sugar - 1.5 tbsp
Crushed Roasted Peanuts - 2 tbsp

Thank you! There's no branding anywhere on the wok. I bought it just like this from a small Asian grocery store over 10 years ago and it didn't come in any packaging unfortunately.
Bro you need to used a rubber Spatula
I use wooden ones for my newer pans but this is an older one where most of the nonstick coating have already come off. Rubber spatulas aren't healthy for cooking these kinds of food at high heat.
