- Massaman Curry Paste is unique because of all of the dried spices used in here. The flavors are reminiscent of Indian curries with bright notes of aromatics that are used commonly in Thai curries. Full of aroma and comforting flavors that remind me of Autumn.
đĄ Tips
1. Massaman Curry Paste can be stored in the fridge up to a week or in the freezer for 3 months.
2. If you have a spice or coffee grinder, it will expedite the process. Be aware that the strong flavors of the spices used may infuse your grinder a bit.
3. If you're using a mortar and pestle, grind the spice powder as finely as you can. This will give you a smoother curry and less grainy.
4. The ratio of Massaman Curry Paste ingredients can be adjusted a bit. It's a forgiving curry paste.

What a goldmine this channel is. I'm equally obsessed with Thai cuisine so this is right up my alley.
Wow I can't even imagine what this would taste like and that's unusual for me. It's a pleasure to watch and learn from your videos. Happy Weekend!
Thank you! There's a lot of flavors going on but they work together to create a comforting curry, which I'll share next week. Have a nice weekend đ
Your red curry paste has been life-changing! I canât wait to try this one and the green. Do you think youâll do a yellow curry paste video, or possibly more curry pastes that I might not know about? Any recipes for how to use them would also be amazing. I divide mine into tablespoon-sized portions and freeze them so I can pull out a couple of cubes for when I make red curry chicken. I would love to have all kinds of curry pastes frozen and available like that. Thank you so much for this one!
I'm glad you like the red curry paste and thank you for trying it. I plan to do other uncommon curry paste videos in the future, including yellow curry. I'll be posting how to making Massaman Curry using this paste next weekend. Most curry pastes do well frozen. I also do something similar.
Dear friend, it finally happened. I fell asleep halfway through. đ I told you it was relaxing!! I started it over from the beginning so I didn't miss anything.
I need to make a playlist of just your videos for nights I have trouble sleeping. Too funny!!
I bet your kitchen smells amazing when you're making this. Can't wait to see next weeks video!! I promise I won't fall asleep again. đđĽ°
Hope you are well!! đđ
đ that's ok. I'm happy that the videos can make you feel relaxed. Cooking shouldn't be so stressful. Thank you for taking the time to watch the videos. I do have a playlist of all my videos under the playlist section. I hope you have a nice rest of your weekend.
Wonderful video! I would have never imagined a cooking channel could be so relaxing and informative at the same time. If I can ask a question, I'd like to know if adding oil to the paste is a common practice in Thailand or your personal innovation.
Looks like the best recipe on CZcams tbh.
How many tbsp of curry paste per serving would you say?
I love your curry with some in that I have not used before. Another great video and thank you for sharing Thun. All the best to you đâ¤ď¸đ¤đ
Thank you so much Choy Man! It's one of my favorite curries because of all of the dried spices used, that's typically not found in Thai curries. Have a nice weekend.
@@ThunThunChannel I do agree with you Thun. How long will the paste last in the fridge?
@@choyman8278 it's can be kept in the fridge up to a week and up to 3 months in the freezer
@@ThunThunChannel that is great. Thank you so much for confirming Thun đđťđ
Hi Thun, Iâm so glad I found your channel. Loving all these perfectly curated authentic food videos. I was wondering what type of pan are you using? Thanks!! Please keep more coming :)
Hi Linh, thank you so much for the kind words. I got this pan a while ago from an Asian grocery store that is no longer operating. It didn't come in any packaging and there's no branding anywhere on it. It was sold just like that.
Another great video. A cliff hanger really. Looking forward to the dish u do with this.
I would love to get a wok like yours. Could you tell us the brand name or where you got it?
Thank you so much for watching. I get asked a lot about this pan. I got this many years ago from a small Asian grocery store that is no longer around. It was sold just like this, without any packaging. There's no branding on it as well unfortunately. If I come across it again, I'll let the community here know.
Excellent!
Thank you đ
